Is always willing to help out, even when your stupid (referring to me) and leave your lights on and need a jumpstart. He was even dependable then. He will do pretty much anything to work with and be fair to his customers, I know cause he works on my car and sometimes in a moments notice and someone needs help with their car, Chris will go out of his way and his schedule to help if he can. I won't take my cars to anyone but Chris because I know him very well,, I know his work and I know just how hard he works. The only thing that I would say about Chris is his dog Abby is cuter and will give you a heart full of love. So I recommend Chris, if you don't believe me well I challenge you to give Chris a try, you also get free popcorn and a comfortable couch to sit and watch a huge TV if you are staying while he works on your car and you will be amazed at all the old time things that he has. I've been to probably 25 around different parts of the country. This is hands down, by far, the best, most competent, fair priced mechanic I have ever come across. And it's not even close. True diagnostics. Not just reading codes and getting you to replace things for the sake of charging you. John is a wizard and clearly knows cars unbelievably well. John figured out what was going on with my engine with so many other mechanics could not. John also figured out that previous mechanics hastily replaced things, and did so lazy, leading to problems in themselves. I've never tipped a mechanic before but I just had to do so after this service. My car wasn't drivable. It was kicking while driving. This car is my baby I've been road tripping around the country with it for 10 months. I had 12 codes before Double G Auto, now I have 0 codes. Car drives better than when I first bought it. I joked with John I would consider moving to town just so I could bring every car I ever own to him for the rest of my life. Would save me so much time, energy, effort and money. THANK YOU SO MUCH. My first experience was an oil change and inspection, where Brian personally called me and spent 15 minutes fully explaining what was going on with my car that had 220k miles on it. Brought my car here for a simple fix. Took them two weeks. Was conned into having parts that didnt…read moreneed replacing, replaced with cheap-low-quality ones. Was fooled into thinking they had it under control and knew what they were doing. Finally got my car back and has not been the same since. Had a reputable mechanic look their work over afterwards and found parts were mangled and wiring was almost compromised. And the simple fix that I had originally gone to them for was never even addressed, they just bypassed it. While they were sympathetic and I wasnt charged an unbelievable amount considering how long they had it, I was still lied to. This could have all been avoided had they admitted they didnt know what they were doing. I now have to undo their hack job and replace everything with original parts and pay someone to do it right.

I used Jason Leo's in 2024 when I had a serious puncture on one tire. They are nearby to my…read morelocation so getting to a station for service nearby was important. I inflated the punctured tire and was there in under 4 minutes, left my vehicle off and walked back home. They had my tired repaired an hour later and I picked up my vehicle. I was truly impressed in how I was a walk-in with no appointment, yet, they squeezed me in on very short notice and I was on my way in short time! When shopping for new 4 new tires in Fall 2025, I certainly wanted to get a quote from them and it was very competitive to anyone else around. They don't offer free puncture repair or free rotation, but, that wasn't a critical requirement and I also felt I owed a local/Vermont company my business over using a national chain store, taking into account the puncture repair done there in 2024. I dropped off my vehicle for the 9am appointment and my car was ready at 10:40am and ready to go! Impressive! I had a few questions later in the day regarding TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) and stopped by to ask and had all questions answered clearly and completely. Well done! My vehicle will be out of warranty soon and due to both the short distance from my home, but, also and more importantly, the quality of work done here and the promptness to get me in and out so well, I'll be a customer here,... ongoing.
