It was fixed, and I shrugged it off as a clerical error. Recently, my drivers side wheel started making noise. It was alarming, so I went to the nearest automotive repair shop, which was not Noyes. They told me that the wheel was coming off because a lug nut had cracked and the force of driving had broken off a stem. Obviously, this is a dangerous situation. There was some visible damage to the wheel itself. They suggested I take the vehicle back to Noyes to see if they would make it right by replacing the wheel. I was forwarded to the owner, who was on vacation and could not call me back for several days. There was no one else to talk to. Then after a very disappointing conversation in which the owner said he had no liability after 100 miles, I took it in to be seen so he could take a look. His offer??? He will split the cost of a junkyard wheel with me. I declined, solid in my decision that I was never going back there again and that short of putting the wheels back on I did not want them touching my car again. I purchased new lug nuts. It took them TWO hours to put them on. This purchase was my parting gift to Noyes. Never, ever again.
