I've had Joe's carpet service do the carpet in my mother's house before we put it up for sale. They did a great job at a reasonable price. I was very happy with how everything turned out. I know that Joe does a lot for local charities and even donates remnants to teachers and such. I had a project that I was working on today and needed just a small piece of carpet and they let me have it for free. Great business and great people working there!!! read more

Several friends recommended Joes Carpet to me. Unfortunately, I had a poor experience with them. There was issues trying to get them to come out and check the waterproofing on the house. The installers came out and had to glue the tac strip bc of the waterproofing, came again the next day and still wasn't dry. The salesman and the installers both said they would come out the following day, which was odd because it was a holiday. Nobody showed up the next day. I had to take several days off of work to be there for the installation. Never received any apologies. I was disappointed because we received a lower price at another business but I stuck with Joes because of reviews from friends. I ended up getting a refund and took my business elsewhere. I have done business with Joe's for years. After putting down a deposit on carpet. I found the same carpet for 50% off of the purchase price. I was hoping there would be some consideration given and/ or price matching applied. I was told by Cody the manager that the order would be delivered 3-4 days out. If I cancel I would receive an $85 restocking fee. My mistake on Due diligence! Never Again! Do Yourself a Favor and Shop elsewhere... preferably with someone who is willing to work with keeping customers satisfied. read more

This place is the best around! I recently got carpet from these guys and was helped through everything by Kodiak who is the floor manager. From the minute I walked into the place, I was greeted by Kodiak and he answered all of my questions. This place is not one of your typical "I'm going to sell you this carpet because I will make more off of you" place. Kodiak was helpful with keeping within my budget and showed me all variety's and styles of carpet. The two installers that will be coming out have over 30 years of experience. I purchased a kitchen and dining room floor from Joe's Flooring in Taylor in March 2021. They installed the floor at the end of April. We immediately let them know that we were unhappy because the title was laid incorrectly, and the baseboards were cut crooked. I spoke to Joe directly, and he promised me personally that they would come back and resolve the issue. They sent people out to fix it, and again it was the same issue as before. Joe and Donavon came to my house to see the re-installation. Upon seeing the same problems yet again, Joe promised he would contact the tile manufacturer, agreeing that the floor was unacceptable. Joe never did follow up on any further reconciliation, even after he visited my home a third time. He stood in my kitchen, shaking his head at the shoddy work, and offered me a "couple hundred dollars" to resolve a $4,445 problem. Repeatedly, I gave Joe and his team the opportunity to make the situation right, and he shrugged it off--continuously agreeing that the problem existed, that the floor was incorrect--yet denying to do anything. read more

The guys were here at 10:30 (as I was told they would be) and they finished before 2:30. They just kept working until the job was done. And the price was great. read more

Finally had our carpet installed today after 1 month of chaos. The first time we scheduled installation, We found out that Kodiak shorted us 10 yards of carpet. Kodiak also expected the crew to install the carpet with 6 seams. 2 weeks later the next roll of carpet came in and the dye lot didn't match. Then I was told it was going to be 1+ weeks to get another shipment. With all of these delays we were not looking at having flooring for our Christmas party. Somehow they came through with one day to spare. Now I have half a day to clean and decorate for our party. My first three experiences with Joe's Carpet were great. Ryan was our sales rep and I had no issues. I would have given 5 starts until this last awful experience. *Beware of getting quoted by Kodiak. The crew said mistakes are frequent with him.* read more

I went to purchase carpet to have installed and the young man was trying to push me into a cheaper carpet. The carpet density was thin / cheap for about $2,200 installed and he said 8 weeks for installation. I then went down the street to the big box store and they sold me a thicker / better carpet for $1,600 and had it installed in 3 weeks. I will not make Joe's my first choice going forward. read more

I want to say what a pleasure it was working with Joe's Carpet. From the help Kodiak gave us in store, to the set up of installation, and the installers. Everyone was so respectful and considerate and detail oriented. The price was the price, the delivery day was the delivery day and the installation time was exactly on. They did the job quickly and cleaned up after themselves. I have never seen such a dedicated caring team in any home improvement industry. Hats off to Joe and his staff. They are the absolute best. I had carpet installed in my living room hall and bedroom. Upon completion I was told the seams would disappear quickly. They never did. I called to inquire and was treated rather rudely. I said there were three guys and I believe one was in training. His response was something like...well he has to learn. But at my expense? He said someone could come out and took down my information. No one ever contacted me. Am looking to have my other two bedrooms done. I won't ever go back to Joe's. Poor service. I don't think Joe really cares. read more

Had laminate and vinyl flooring put in. Everything started off great then went down hill from there... floors did not get done in the time frame we were told originally. Installers finally came out put floors in did a really nice job other than putting in a few bad pieces of laminate. We still have not got issue resolved and did not receive any compensation for there mistake.. called and called to many people there and they just give you the run around.. read more

I felt like I was on the set of Americas most Wanted, it was early and they were dispatching installers I believed....First thought was to reach for my mace...Nobody even acknowledge us as we walked around overhearing the morning rush...after about 15 minutes we were approached by a young man who was really nice....after setting up an appointment to be measured (10.00 btw) nobody bother to show up nor call......after several attempts to get them to service us we decided to go with another carpet store which has been around for a long time, they did not disappoint.... read more

I've heard good things about Joe's and their prices so I decided to give it a try. They are only open until 6 so I had to rush after work to get there. I showed up at about 5:15, met my boyfriend there and began to look around. After inquiring about a price match (which we heard they did), the guy that was helping us was yelling to the guy at the front who I'm guessing was the manager? He was really rude about price matching -- he said they would do it but he had a major attitude-- and then followed up with "but we are closing! we are closing!" screaming it repeatedly to us and the guy who was helping us--and it was only 5:30!!!! They pretty much pushed us out the door, were in their cars and out of the parking lot by 5:35!!! Umm... signs say you are open until 6!!! I could MAYBE understand closing early if there was no one in the store but to actually kick people out a half hour before the specified closing time was beyond ridiculous. I will NEVER go back there no matter how low their prices are. read more
