Joe's Express Car Wash is my go-to car wash service provider. I've been taking my car(s) (I've had a few) through this car wash for years now. They offer great price points and car wash packages as well as monthly subscriptions. They also usually have great deals throughout the week as well as promo specials that you can save on your washes or even get one for free. Since they've expanded, a lot of the congestion has calmed down. Now they offer far more cleaning/vacuuming stations. They still get busy from time to time but ever since the expansion - even at their peak times, you usually can still find a spot to finish up detailing your car after the wash. The staff is great and helpful. My only gripe with this facility - but it is also an issue I have with all drive-thru car washes - is that at the end of the wash when it's time for the air to blow off all the water, it never gets the car fully dry. So, I usually always have to do some type of wipe down to avoid water spots from forming post-wash. Again, this is a general complaint I have with all car wash facilities. So far this is my favorite new car wash! This is my new spot. I noticed that the vacuums vacuum well and my car was very clean on the outside and I am very pleased... it's not even that expensive and they give you a free one in the beginning of it all so it's like paying it forward and I appreciate things like that. Overall, this is a great car wash with an incredibly friendly and professional staff. It is conveniently located on the corner of Pineloch Avenue and Orange Avenue and is next to the Wawa. For a quick but decent wash and reasonable pricing, this is definitely the place to go. They also offer a discount on Wednesdays + "early bird" pricing on other weekdays. The carwash I used to frequent (Topdog) now has either one or no people to pre-scrub your car before going into the tunnel. Express Joe's always has at least 2 people to pre-scrub, which is a BIG help to actually get it clean (especially to take out the poopies!!). Recently I went to Topdog (as it was on the way) at around 12PM on a SATURDAY and they had NO one to pre-scrub-- on a busy day! So I left Topdog and went out of my way to get to Express Joe's Car Wash. Totally worth it. Swung by today on my lunch break because my car was absolutely filthy, and man... I'm glad I did, to say the least. I got the Manager's Special, which includes all of this for 20 bucks: -Clean & dry -Triple foam polish -Clear coat protectant -Wheel cleaner & shine -Hot wax & shine -Buff dry & shine -Windshield treatment -Lava bath, shine & seal and it came out absolutely amazing. Decent car wash. Prices are comparable to other drive through car washes. Paid $10 for a wash that included a tire shine. I also had some brackets on top of the car for loading and was worried they couldn't wash it with and it was no problem. At the beginning of the wash before you go in nuetral, there are 2 people who pre wash bugs on the bumber and a quick brush of the tires. I looked at the car after the wash and my tires were not fully clean and there was one random black streak on the side of the door some how. Thanks to the manager Jeremy for offering to take the huge sticker off my back windshield. He got it off just as I was going to go through the wash. 'Ello chaps! I've always found that it's difficult to find a good car wash in Florida. Express Joe's Car Wash is one of the better ones -- BUT, they're still not that great. They seem to be efficient, getting people moving in and out in good fashion. I've not found much difference in their low price car wash versus their high priced car wash -- meaning there is no difference in their $20 wash. I got one and still found spots missed by their cleaning machines. I'll probably stick to the $5 or $10 washes from now on. There are a few things that are left to be desired in the end result. The free vacuums are a good perk, although I wish they would take a little better care with the car clean area. There is often oil, and all sorts of liquids scattered about the parking lot area, so as the hoses drag around the ground, it will end up in your car as well. Still a good spot. read more

Let me break it down like this... I hollered at Joe when he opened his wash over by Wawa. At first, his washes were the truth. $10 and my ride looked as nice as did driving off the lot. The last few times, Joe's drying machines have been f'd up. My car looked like a slippery johnson when it rolled out of Joe's last time. That ish ain't right. I just moved to the area and was looking for a place to have my car washed. I just happened to see this particular one. So, I decided to try them out. I was never pleased with the service because my car never was quite clean. There was always dirt left on the car, especially the tires. Even though I was paying for the plan that included tire cleaning. Well, I have/ or had a monthly plan that allows you to get your car washed every day. Recently, on September 26th and 28th, I went there but they were closed. If I'm paying for a monthly service to use every day or how I choose, and I cannot use it, I would like a refund for the time I couldn't use the service. If the situation were reversed, they would want their money. I understand that sometimes businesses have to close temporarily for whatever reason but don't charge customers for a service that you are not providing. I emailed them and asked for compensation since I have been unable to use their service for over a week (I believe) because they told me that they don't plan to open back up until Sunday, October 1st. Initially, I was emailed and told that I would receive partial credit. Then I was emailed and told the manager is going to cancel my contract with them. WoW!! I'm glad I only wasted a couple of months with this car wash company that thinks it's okay to charge people for something they are not providing. And when a simple question is asked about this, you don't want to deal with the customer. No worries. I will take my money and my car else where...customer be ware!!! read more

First time visiting and loved it. Had to find a new car wash after I was getting sick of paying almost $70 a month plus tips for a monthly unlimited wash plan at another car wash. Went before 9:30am and got $5 off the wash. No interactions with anybody and no tipping! Just go, get the car washed and get on your way. Just select your wash from the drive up kiosk and when you enter there's a couple of people hand washing your car before you enter into the automatic wash. I really like that the automatic wash beats your car with chamois towels along with the forced air at the end of the wash leaving the car pretty dry as you exit. The self service vacuum area is clean and in addition to the vacuum there's a high pressure air nozzle that you can use to blast dust out of all of the crevices on your dash board as well as a spray bottle with windex or some kind of cleaner. Theres also a bin at each stall with clean microfiber towels although I could see how thy might easily run out of those as there was only one left when I was there and it was damp so it might have been previously used. As for the effectiveness of the drive through wash, I think it does a great job if you wash your car at least once or twice a month. It's not going to replace a hand wash if your car is extra muddy or fresh off a hundreds-of-miles road trip and its covered in bugs. Also, the tire shine sucks. Yet all-in-all I think it's still a great experience and value. I will be subscribing to the monthly plan. read more

Rolling into Joe's with an extremely dirty car full of woods residue and some bird poop and other gunk on it not expecting to get it all off from a $10 wash. How wrong I was, Joe's Car Wash does a FABULOUS job getting the dirt & grime off to make it look like new! I can only imagine how well the $15, $18 and $20 washes work after my great experience with the $10 one. The staff was courteous, and the line moved quickly on a busy Sunday. Came in this morning around11am after finding some coupons on the mail. Pulled up and noticed the long line. Looks like everyone wanted their vehicle cleaned after yesterday's rain. I had noticed that the left lane I was in wasn't really moving. I noticed the same car was sitting there and an attendant was helping that customer with some issue. After waiting 6-8 in line, I finally moved up to order and pay. I ordered the managers $20 special. I had a coupon for half off that just wouldn't scan reg of which way you did it. Now I realized I'm that guy holding the line. I went ahead and hit the button to summon help! I can't remember the guys name that came and helped. I think it's started with an "a". He came up and I explained the kiosk wasn't scanning the coupon. He tried like he did with the last person. He seemed flustered and told me that it's a long line and he was going to try to help. He kept seeing the line grow longer so he said, screw it..... He ended up giving me the $10 wash free because of my inconvenience of the scanner not working and being an issue they have dealt with all day long. It kind of blew my mind. I wasn't trying to get anything free. I wanted to pay for my wash but he took care of it! What a nice thing to do. And if that wasn't enough, as I pulled forward to the tunnel entrance, I rolled my windows down and told him again thank you. He pointed to the other side and another employee was trying to hand me a treat bone for my dog since she was with me for her! I can't say enough good things about my experience today! This place is great. Was so simple to choose my selection - lots of options - and get through the line with a super thorough car wash. I've been looking for a place like this somewhere on the north side or in Winter Park, that would be closer to where I live. I love that they had a monthly unlimited option. If I lived closer to this location I'd definitely do that. So glad I ran across this place when I was in the area a couple of weeks ago because I had been looking for a quick easy, and thorough, wash! I was really pleased with the outcome of the wash I chose, my car was super clean. I even chose the wheel cleaning & it did a great job. I also love that they have free vacuums afterwards! They're really convenient, with long hoses and two different heads. All in all I'd highly recommend going here. I have been looking for something like it since I moved to Orlando years ago. When they first opened, this car wash was great. The wash would do a good job, the vacuums were strong, and they offered early bird specials. Unfortunately, it has gone downhill. The wash no longer does a very good job, with some of the brushes barely making contact with the vehicle. The vacuums are so weak that they are almost useless. The vacuum parking spots are so close together that there is no room to open doors and definitely not enough room for two cars parked next to each other to use the vacuums at the same time. Also, unlike some other car washes, there are no spray bottles or towels available. During one recent visit, I was not happy at all with the wash and let the employee know. The past few times that I have been to this place, the quality of service has been absolutely subpar, and even this last time, my car sustained minor damage (a very small chip on the hood of my car) from the equipment, and left black oily spots on my car (this is not the first time this has happened either). After speaking with one of the attendants, they attempted to dismiss me once I mentioned the chip that was not present prior to me leaving work and prior to me entering the car wash. The gentleman seemed like they did not want to address the issue of the dirt spots from their machinery outside of "I'll tell the manager" (who also was not present). I would not recommend going to this place. I intend on cancelling my monthly subscription as it is unacceptable to spend $50 monthly on subpar service. I would recommend going to a different location, doing it yourself, or getting on Booksy and finding someone that'll be willing to detail your car versus risking having your car damaged by an organization that is dead set on refusing to take accountability for the issue. read more

I've been here several times now, as far as car washes go this one's pretty good. The line is always exceptionally fast, even if it's long. They have a very good method of channeling cars through so there's almost no delay. They have many different ways to customize your wash so that you can make it as simple or complex as you like, and priced accordingly. You can pay $20 to get the full special, or the basic Car Wash starts out at $6. The individual features have their own prices, but I suspect it's cheaper to just buy the full package if you want all of them. At the start of the wash, there is also a couple of employees working that helped to make sure your car is lining up correctly, and also to hit some of the hard-to-reach spots for the automatic wash.
