To get an accurate understanding of how dishonest and predatory this business is particularly when it comes to women sort the reviews by looking at the lowest reviews. On Sunday, I had my vehicle towed to this shop. My AC had stopped working and after driving for sometime fumes started coming from the front of the car and liquids were dripping from the bottom of the car. When my car got brought in, I called and explained exactly that. They told me it would cost about $67 to do a diagnosis of the issue. The next day, Tim called me and said the issue is my radiator and I needed to replace the radiator. He told me the total cost would be $764. I told him I would call back because I wanted to get a second opinion. I wanted to get a second opinion because this past December I brought my car in to them because my AC/ heater was not working. Then I paid them over $600. Now six months later I was having the same issues. Because I couldn't move the car to another mechanic, I contacted a mobile mechanic. In my messages to the mobile mechanic I said the same thing that I told this business. My AC stopped working and the car started fuming. In the end, I could not coordinate a time with the mobile mechanic due to work, so I decided to go with Myers. The next day I called them to okay the service. Tim now quotes $849, instead of the $764 he originally told me. I explained to him that was not the price he quoted me before. I wrote the price down, but he lied and said it was what he told me. I negotiated the price to $813 because I just wanted my car fixed. I okayed the service after he assured me he did a diagnostic and the issues would be fixed. Of course, I'm thinking the AC would also be fixed. When they called me to say the car is ready. My sister goes to pick up the car and had me on facetime. The very first thing I asked her to do was to check the AC before paying. LO AND BEHOLD THE AC WAS NOT FIXED. When I brought this issue up. They lied that I never mentioned the issue with my AC. We are in the peak of the summer, Why would I not mention my AC not working??? Also, why would I mention it to the mobile mechanic (see my screenshots) and not mention it to Myers, the people who have my car and are fixing my car???? Instead of them admitting their error. They tried to charge me an additional $1000 to fix the AC talking about there is an issue with the AC compressor. So they wanted me to pay a total of $1800!!!! They are ridiculous. Of course I contested this. I called Neil Myers the owner to resolve the issue cordially. To my surprise he started yelling at me and threatening me that "he knows my type" and that if I don't pay in cash I will not get my car. It was so TRAUMATIZING. I never had a business owner speak to me like that, especially when it is THEIR ERROR. The way he spoke to me I was scared because like I said my younger sister was there alone. So I immediately left work to go there myself. Then Brandon (Myers??) got involved and again instead of rectifying the situation and admitting their error also lied that I never told them. So he called me stating the call is being recorded. Then it was clear he was trying to create a recording to cover themselves legally. He also tried to tell me that I needed to pay in cash or certified check before they release my car. I called them out that it is against the law if it was not previously disclosed to the customer. In the end, I paid $749, instead of $813 because Brandon said he would give me a "discount". I found it laughable that he thought that would be sufficient to rectify the fact that I paid $749 to "fix" a radiator that is sold on amazon for less than $99 and my AC is still not working. I don't recommend this business to anyone. Also by the way the positive reviews are doctored. As a first time customer they will harass you for days to leave a review, which I am assuming why so many people feel compelled to leave these 4 star reviews. But trust me don't patronize this business!

When I took my vehicle in they did the diagnostic gave me the results and I gave them permission to make the repairs. my vehicle was there for more than a week when I picked my car up and drove approximately five miles my engine light came on and the car started backfiring and shut off I was able to get off the highway. I waited 10 to 15 minutes and the car finally started. once I got home, I called the shop they gave me every excuse in the book as to what was happening to the car. My vehicle was in and out of their service department for more than three months. to make a long story short, my vehicle was at Myers for a total of three or four months, I paid over two thousand dollars and my vehicle still is not running. The last thing I had replaced was my fuel pump. At the present time every light on my panel is on. I am eighty one years old living on a fixed incom, this has been very frustrating and I wouldn't recommend Myers to my family or friend as a matter of fact I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy. I brought my truck to Dad's Garage in Owings for three relatively straightforward items:…read more * TPMS sensor programming * Tire balancing * Diagnosing an emergency brake-related clunking noise under load I had an 8:00 AM appointment scheduled well in advance, yet after TWO full days, the truck sat untouched until around 2:00 PM on the second day. This was a job that realistically should have taken a couple of hours. The TPMS issue was never resolved. Initially, I was told the sensors had been programmed correctly and that the warning lights were caused by incorrect tire pressure -- one of the most ignorant explanations I've ever heard from a mechanic. The reality was simple: the inner rear TPMS sensors were never programmed at all, which was the entire reason the truck was brought in. They eventually admitted that after the fact. Next was the wheel balancing. My truck has custom powder-coated wheels. Instead of using stick-on weights like the factory setup already had, they installed hammer-on steel weights on the OUTER edge of the rims, damaging the powder coating in the process. Any competent shop should have immediately recognized the proper balancing method after removing the existing stick-on weights. As for the emergency brake concern, they never properly diagnosed it. I specifically brought the truck in for a loud noise under load -- not the normal sound of the electronic parking brake actuator engaging. They dismissed the issue without ever meaningfully reproducing or testing the concern. To top it all off, they broke a wheel stud using an impact gun on the lug nuts rather than properly torquing them as a qualified mechanic should. Because of the excessive use of the impact gun, I now have concerns about stretching or cracking of the remaining wheel studs and will likely be replacing all of them as a precautionary safety measure. Between the damaged powder coating on the wheels and the wheel stud issue, I am now facing well over $1,000 in damages to either have the wheels professionally re-powder coated or replaced, along with replacing the studs they improperly handled. What made the experience even worse was my conversation with Mike, the owner. From the beginning of the call, he was defensive and adamant that everything had been performed correctly -- until several of those claims were proven untrue. Once confronted with the facts, the conversation quickly became unprofessional, including yelling on the phone rather than attempting to resolve the situation appropriately. Two days wasted, damage to my wheels, unresolved issues, poor communication, and additional damage caused while the vehicle was in their possession. This experience was frustrating from start to finish. Steer clear of Dad's Garage unless you want your vehicle returned with more issues than it had when you dropped it off.

I checked in on them monthly and specifically asked that he repair the ripped gray area and reinforce the board. I trusted Mr. Mosley's long-standing reputation in the business, hoping for a high-quality result, especially since I couldn't be there in person. A family member dropped by to check on the panels and was informed that they were ready. They paid $250 and picked them up on my behalf. When I saw the finished panels, I was incredibly disappointed. The panels were cheap-looking and nothing like the original ones I had given him. I had expected a professional and durable repair, but what I received was far from it. The first photos show the new and original panels, the second photo is the original panel and the last two show what was returned to me by Mr. Mosley. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet the high expectations I had based on his reputation. Also, the holes for door handle weren't cut out. How do you miss holes with the original door panel in your possession? I would not recommend Mr. Mosley for auto upholstery. The quality simply didn't match the price or my expectations.

African American gentleman and Steelers fan, (unfortunately lol). Very friendly and customer experience focused having been in business at this same location since 1985. Gave him the basics of what I was looking to do on my X5 and he gave me a preliminary price of $650 to redo the entire headliner A&B pillars within the upholstery of the vehicle. Invited me down for him to take a look at it so we could finalize things - which I did. That was on Thursday - 11/11. I was pleased that his price didn't change even though he also had to do the sunroof (which I mentioned over the phone). He told me to bring it in in one week which was yesterday (Thursday -11/18) morning and I'm here now on Friday afternoon (11/19) waiting as they button up the project and reinstall my sunroof. Anyone else would have charged me at least $200-$400 more and one place that I know of (that I used for another vehicle) would have charged me about $1,500 for the same work - and taken several days. Not only is Mr Mosely skilled having been doing car upholstery for many decades, but he's also FAST. It's him and his assistant Henry, and one other gentleman that I saw. The interior of my truck looks better than brand new with an exact color match to the sun visors and I'm more than thrilled that it didn't cost me an arm and three fingers to get the project done. Payment = cash or check only. No credit cards accepted. Good business. Fast turnaround. Terrific price. No more saggy/discolored interior. Who could ask for more? I'm over the moon with joy!

Sound of the install was everything I wanted and some. Today I came in for rotors, break pads and brake sensor replacement for my 2018 BMW 530i. Street Dreamz provided BMW OEM parts as any great shop would do. He took the time to quote the price and break down parts and labor which was much appreciated. Street Dreamz mechanic did an amazing job! So glad I trusted them and didn't go to my local BMW shop that normally is a stressful experience that takes all day.
