Great business!!! Doug and his shop staff are very professional and friendly (even to include the two dogs that hang out there, lol). The workmanship done on our car was impeccable! Class A work; the seat looks completely new. Even though only a couple of panels were replaced, the color matching was amazing... not even a slight difference at all. The cost was VERY....fair and reasonable, too. I had another quote PRIOR to Doug's, and they tried to tell me entire seat needed to be replaced because panels weren't gonna match in color.... I have had two sunroof installed a set of Katzkin seat covers and seat heaters at Pollets today. I showed up in the rain, unannounced and asked for them if they could take a look at my sunroof. It had broken They spent about an hour replacing parts and making my sunroof work again and it was about five years out of warranty!!!! Water had gotten into the car and carpet due to a leak that previous shops could not find, but Pollet found not one but two leaks. I did not know P.A. was on yelp since I originally found Doug via a referral from my long time BMW mechanic (now retired-30 yrs) years ago and came across Yelp in search of a good mechanic for my 1990 Mazda Miata. But here is the low-down, so listen -up... I'm an old car guy, emphasis on "old" because whatever I knew about cars I forgot. Just recently, Doug help me with replacing a "tiny chip of wood" that was somehow gashed out in the center console in front of the "moister" gear shifter of a 2004 "Premier Edition" VW Phaeton W12. For all of you who know what im talking about, said shifter and consul is the focal point of the front cabin interior. Anyway, the damage, although small in scale was a total eyesore. After Doug got through with it, it looked almost brand new (it would have looked new but I was missing another piece of the chip). this was a total custom repair just of importance because of its line of sight location. And for the record, two (2) VW service dealers did not want to touch it! Yes, Doug and his team have done larger repairs i.e. soft top replacement for a 1st built 1989 Miata, center consul rebuild, bmw x3 ceiling and pillar liners, a bmw-750il ceiling and passenger leather liners and numerous other custom jobs no one wanted to touch. Excellent workmanship. Honest owner. Doug and his team replaced my worn original leather front seat covers and foam pads. I provided new OEM pads and aftermarket leather replacements. The installation turned out to be exceptional. The front seats look and feel as if it was a brand new truck. The leather is tight fitted and there is no loose or sag anywhere. The result of the work is as OEM as you can possibly get. Doug also cleaned the carpet stains underneath the chairs and made a minor modification to the foam. He retained and placed all the original foam and leather in two boxes. The installation price was fair and reasonable. Scheduling was easy. First visit included Doug accessing the leather interior and providing a labor quote. Instead of replacing a single piece of leather, he recommended replacing the entire seat, which would have been more cost effective. I decided to replace the front two seats to color match the interior. Doug was flexible with me changing the original appointment due to a delay for some parts. The shop was clean and there is adequate parking. The estimated completion time was two days but Doug completed the work in one. He took the time to get to know your vehicle and after chatting with him you can tell he was passionate with his craft. If you need leather upholstery work in Northern VA, give Doug a call. My sunroof leaked and because I have rubber mats, I hadn't noticed the water damage which resulted in black mold. My dealership's service manager referred me to Doug and his staff, and my car looks like brand new! The carpet was replaced, sunroof issues corrected, and black mold totally removed. Tree landed on my Mustang's convertible top in early January, was referred to this shop by my previous favorite tech who has since retired. After talking with my insurance and Doug, I received a very reasonable estimate that was even cheaper than my insurance estimate. Even though the OEM parts are no longer manufactured, Doug called around and found a brand new frame and top for my car, estimating the repair to take a few days. Got a call the evening of the first day telling me it was good to go! Great work; upon reviewing the install and talking me through care for the new convertible top, we discussed other aspects of my car that I had previous issues with. His knowledge extended beyond the roof repair and even into specific drains that may be clogged within the frame. Absolutely recommend! read more

Excellent work from Pollet Automotive on our Ford SUV Explorer! It had an issue with the manufacture adhesive on the driver side door panel near the window coming up (ungluing - peeling up) and it looked awful. The dealership said it wasn't under warranty and it had never been a recall issue, although after research it seems to be a common problem with the 2014 FORD SUV Explorers, so it would be about $400 for them to fix by replacing the entire door inset area. But thankfully Pollet Automotive was able to fix it for much less about $180.00 and it looks really good. I would recommend this shop very strongly the people were very nice and did quick, superb work - without it costing an arm and a leg. read more
