Wow. Used to have amazing sushi friendly guys. Not anymore...could have lit myself on fire and the guy would not acknowledge me. 6 people but he's moving like he took 20 norcos and smoked 1/2 pound of weed. Maybe related to a sloth. Delicious food. Recommend the Che Che roll it had a citrusy flavor to it, definitely packed with flavor. Food came out fast. The seating inside is a little small and packed. I can't imagine a wheelchair fitting inside there. The service was not the best, our servers name was Nikki she had a bad attitude from the beginning. Not friendly, which was a disappointment since we noticed the other server there was the total opposite. Nikki never came to pick up our plates, but the other server did. We just moved to the desert a few months ago and we'd been meaning to go to this spot for a while because a friend recommended it. Service was great! Food was just meh... My husband really liked the chicken teriyaki plate but all the sushi rolls were good sized but I felt like they were trying to hide the "fishiness" or non-fresh fish with A LOT of sauce. Ok I have been coming to joes for years I went opening day. It's always had nice customer service so I was shocked as I kept on seeing reviews lately about there customer service, but unfortunately they were right. I phoned in my order and went to pick it up. When I got there there were only about 3 tables (6 people total) of people. No one greeted me or said hello(The sushi Chef wasn't there but when he came later he told me hi) So I made I contact with about 7 employees no one greeted me or even acknowledged me. Right about the time I was going to walk out , 5mn later the server with the duck lips said are you here for a pick up. She rung me up and said thank you buy as fast as she could and walked away. I used to love this place before trying other AYCE sushi places. I feel as if all of their rolls taste the same and the selection for AYCE is limited. I think the food is good for the price, but being a sushi connoisseur, I have found much much better sushi places in the desert. The service is awesome and the prices are cheap, but the quality of sushi is not worth it to me. If you are looking for satisfactory sushi, I highly suggest this place! read more

3.5 stars. Went there for the all you can eat sushi. Passed a number of other places to get there and it ended at 6. Was on a golf trip with 3 other guys. Food and service were pretty good. Would probably go again but was a bit annoyed about the all you can eat thing. Ended up costing us less money and we left having all we cared to eat anyway. read more

Arrived ask for a table they informed us it would be 10 minutes. One person from our party waited inside and the rest in the car so we're not in anyone's way. A party of 6 arrives sits themselves down while we are still waiting without being told anything waiter just watches them and says nothing. When we asked the waiter he had no regard for anything and told us we could wait for the next table that opens. This place use to be good but it's a joke now. There are so many other better sushi places around the desert compared to this place. The only thing this place has going for it was the all you can eat but they pack so much rice on the rolls to fill you up faster you basically just eat two rolls and your full. Other places in the desert give a great beautiful looking rolls at competitive prices but this place gives you a slab of rice stuffed with a small amount of fish. Trust me go somewhere else your money is better spent elsewhere. Now I change my review to one star. First dish they brought ($11 classic ramen) had a striking resemblance to top ramen and upon further inspection was indeed the chicken flavor. The rest of the sushi was pungent, mushy, and the opposite of fresh. There were maybe five tables crammed inside as well. Service was alright but they had no business approaching our table with that food. Not to mention the "food" ended up being probably the same price as if we had eaten at the cliff house. 4/26/2021 It seems like when restaurants were closed and they were hurting for money, service was excellent. We ordered food this evening from this restaurant  and it was horrible. What I ordered was not even remotely what was on my plate when my husband brought the food home. The employee who took the order was calling my husband "bro" (when my husband placed the order)  which is not acceptable to us and when we called to complain about my food, he was rude and hung up the phone on me. We will never eat there again or recommend this restaurant to anyone read more

I can't believe this place has gone down hill so much from the last time I visited! Usually business do better with age. This has obviously not been the case. The original owner of this restaurant was friendly and generous. I used to eat. regularly at his Fontana location nearly 15 years ago. As soon as he opened a desert location around 2004?, I rushed right over. The place was jumping with happy people. The sushi was plentiful. There are now all these rules! How is it All You Can Eat when the first thing you read on the menu is "2 orders...no exceptions!" He never served over cooked either. The rice is almost paste. Most of the rolls have so much rice, you couldn't taste the fish. Regardless if its AYCE, the quality should not change! If you need a bigger profit margin, raise the price. I liked the Mitso soup but it had tempora veggies and a shrimp not bad the salmon was grilled with a thick sauce over it ,not sushi, and the only sushi was 4 pieces of California roll not that good. As a first time customer, I called in a takeout order and they said it would be 40 - 45 minutes which definitely surprised me. Why so long? Despite the long wait, I wanted to try the place for myself and went ahead and placed my order of 3 rolls. Not wanting to wait, I gave them an extra 5 minutes and arrived 50 minutes after placing my order. I was shocked to find my order was NOT READY! Sushi chef told server he knew nothing about it. I expressed my disappointment and told them to forget it. I had already waited 50 minutes and didn't want to wait any longer. The server gave a half hearted apology and the sushi chef gave me an 'I could care less' look. From the parking lot, I called another place that had my order ready in 10 minutes.
