Popped in for a to go order. The place was empty but I still stood there waiting for a while before I was even acknowledged. I ordered salmon sashimi and green tea ice cream. The salmon wasn't the freshest but once covered in soy sauce it was fine. I was shocked to find they didn't provide any wasabi, I've never had a to-go sushi order not have wasabi. The ice cream was tasty and was a good portion. I would say check this spot out if you're close and craving sushi but don't go out of your way for it.

Dragon sushi is a very reliable choice. They have quality fish and well crafted rolls. We went for their AYCE (all you can eat) special (only available at specific times/days). While the price was moderately high (~$50 before tax) and amount of rice was large, the fish was superb. Having higher prices and more rice isn't unexpected given the fish quality and that they are normally an a la carte establishment. FOOD: great quality fish. We had several varieties of sushi, hand rolls, speciality rolls. I highly recommend the sushi and hand rolls which while simple, didn't disappoint. Note that the amount of rice is large but this is likely because we had the AYCE. SERVICE: service was as expected AMBIANCE: overall good. But perhaps the biggest problem was the smell. At times and in specific areas there was an almost bathroom/sewer like smell that was very unenjoyable. It didn't overtake our experience but came close. PRICE: AYCE was expensive but worth it. Do note that it is higher than other AYCE options likely because they don't specialize in AYCE so their sushi tastes of higher quality. PARKING: easy, lots of it right in their lot

Stopped by Dragon Sushi for lunch with my husband and brother-in-law and had a great experience! We were greeted and seated right away. The standout for us was the Gorilla Brain -- an avocado stuffed with spicy tuna and crab, deep-fried to perfection, then topped with eel sauce, spicy mayo, Masago, and green onions. So good! I ordered the BSCR roll but asked for the scallops not to be baked, and it still hit the spot. My husband had the spicy Korean chicken, which he enjoyed, though he mentioned he would've preferred it served on the rice rather than with rice on the side. My brother-in-law went for the lunch special with chicken and beef teriyaki, lots of food and great value. The space is huge, service was fast, and the food overall was solid. We'll definitely be back when we're craving sushi in the desert!

Warm inside restaurant. Sushi uses very minimal fish. The rolls I got were not great. Pricey too.

We started with the Burrata with Heirloom Tomato and Beef Carpaccio, both of which were delicious. We also had the Lobster Roll, Zucchini Noodles with Shrimp, and the Grilled Skirt Steak with truffle shoestring potatoes -- the skirt steak was especially good! We also tried a sushi tuna roll, which was another great addition to the table. The drinks were fantastic, and everything came out tasting fresh and well prepared. To top it all off, they brought out a nice little lemon cake for my birthday, which was a really nice touch. Overall, even though it was crowded and loud, we had a great experience. Great service, amazing food and drinks, and a fun Friday night atmosphere. Definitely a good spot for a celebration!

My youngest loved her spaghetti and meatballs and she is usually pretty picky about pasta. I had the butternut squash ravioli and they were rich, creamy, and exactly what I wanted. My wife ordered the miso glazed seabass and she loved it. I stole her bok choy and that made me very happy. The restaurant is really clean with a laid back contemporary vibe and great music. The AC at our first table was blasting cold air right on us and the staff moved us right away with no issue at all. They were also incredibly kind to my youngest whose birthday we were celebrating. They surprised her with her favorite tiramisu and a candle which completely made her night. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

75188 US Hwy 111, Indian Wells, CA 92210 Dined: September…read more11, 2026 Price range: Entrées approximately $38-$46; cocktails generally $15-$45+ This was my first time dining at The Nest, and my first impression was very positive. It's a nice restaurant with an attached bar area that had a DJ and was very lively on a Friday night. We chose to dine in the restaurant portion, where the atmosphere was a little more conducive to dinner and the service was good. I had the Chicken Piccata ($38) and thought it was very good. It was flavorful, the serving size was fair, and I felt the price was reasonable for the quality and the restaurant. Others at our table had the Pacific Sole Piccata ($46), and there were several appetizers and salads available in the $19-$38 range. My one disappointment was the cocktail pricing. Many of the drinks start around $19 and can go all the way up to approximately $45. I had a martini that tasted fine, but it was surprisingly small for the price. At those prices, I expected a more generously sized cocktail. Other than the drinks being overpriced in my opinion, I enjoyed the experience. The food was good, the service was solid, and the lively bar and DJ give the place a fun energy if you're looking for more than just dinner. Overall, a solid four-star first visit. I enjoyed The Nest and would definitely return in the future.

We started with dinner and ended up staying for the music, dancing, and all the fun that makes The Nest such a special place. I ordered the chicken piccata and honestly, it was the best I've ever had. The service was wonderful, and even though we were seated near the piano in the bar area where it can get a little loud, that's part of what makes it such a fun atmosphere. The best part of the night was having everyone together. My niece's boyfriend was visiting from Ireland, and we laughed and danced all night. I especially loved seeing my sister-in-law out on the dance floor and having so much fun. It was one of those nights where people of all ages were dancing, laughing, and just enjoying being together. We had such a great time that they went back again the very next night. The live music was fantastic, and it was great seeing Nick on saxophone. The crowd was a fun mix, the energy was high, and the whole place just felt happy. A coworker recently went during Restaurant Week and couldn't stop talking about the steak, the generous portions, and the peanut butter pie. The Nest has been a desert favorite for years, and there's a reason. It's always nice to see Dodi there and how much pride she takes in the restaurant. Most people think of The Nest for the music and dancing, but don't miss the food. It really is that good! One tip: go early or make a dinner reservation so you don't end up waiting in line. The Nest is still one of the most fun places in the desert!
