If in the area and you are stuck looking for food, this is a viable option given the lack of food choices in this neighborhood. We were directed to their enclosed patio. You have to go through the main dining area (a small, old looking bar), go outdoors in the cold and then enter into another dining area. The enclosed patio is more spacious and has so much more ambience than the main area. It is a bit rustic and has larger tables. The food is ok, slightly better than average. For the area, it's probably better than most establishments here. There are a lot of options on the menu, primarily pub style food, and the prices are reasonable. We ordered both regular hot wings and boneless wings, buffalo chicken pizza, and French onion soup. The soup is decent and so are the wings, where you can select from their special sauce options. The buffalo chicken pizza could have been good but the sauce was way too salty. Initially, I thought it was too spicy, but it isn't the spiciness that ruins this dish, it's definitely too salty. read more

Went for dinner yesterday. 5 stars as always. Been here many times. The nashville hot wing sauce is up there with the best sauces I've ever had. The smokeshow burger is without question the best burger I've ever had. An absolute gem. Staff is friendly, restaurant is set up very cool, tons of attention to detail. The drink menu is crazy. The atmosphere at Joey Bs was nice. There was a bar area and then a small restaurant area, so if you'd like to eat here, you may have to wait a little while. Objectively, this is a great place if you want a wide beer selection and pub food on steroids; neither of those things are particularly appealing to me. Basically, if you don't drink or are on a diet, you might not love it. But if you want to imbibe and ingest all the burgers and fries, you'll love it. Be forewarned, the portions are enormous... I ate my burger in two separate meals. If you want more variety than fried foods or Pizza not a lot of options here. Good for groups and celebrations though. I've been here many times and the reason why I give it three stars versus four is because of consistency. The quality of the food varies in consistency as does the service. On a good day, it is an easy 4. Its a shame I can't give this place 3.5 stars. read more

We went to the Spartan Race at Blue Mountain and on the way back stopped here due to the Yelp reviews. Holee Toledo what a find! The restaurant is SPOTLESSLY clean (bathrooms too). The food was excellent. We had beef barley soup (homemade from beef broth) and sautéed perogies as an appetizer. The beef barley was so good!!!! My 10 year old son ate half of mine. This is a great bar restaurant. It is no frills, no thrills, just great bar food and cold drinks with a very pleasant staff. The soups are awesome. The burgers and fries are super solid. They have a variety of pizzas and other things to make anyone happy. For those who like to watch what they eat they also have a decent selection of salads and cauliflower crust options for the pizza. Riverwalck ruined our night, so we were looking for another place to save it, and Joey B's DID! We were astounded that Palmerton has a place with a line to get into-this place. We soon understood why: their beautiful outdoor atmosphere, their great selection of craft beer (we joined their 'Brew Crew'), and an excellent menu. I didn't eat, but what everyone else was ordering looked amazing. My hubby ordered a pizza and raved about it for days. What we didn't expect was the amazingly friendly people working there. Started with the spicy Cajun lobster bisque. It was delicious! Chuck upon chuck of what I first thought was crawfish. I asked the server and she insisted it was lobster. I do know what I'm talking about, and another employee stated it was langoustine. Langoustine are also know as The Norway Lobster. The soup was delicious. No wonder they sell out. Next up, I have to try the wings right?! I opted for Atomic, the 2nd to their most vicious wing. The wings were average. Didn't knock me out of my seat, but they were cooked well, sauce was good, and ample amounts of celery and Bleu cheese. The beer selection is impressive for such a small bar. I had two beers I've never had before... Not an easy task. I was planning on getting burger, which is their flagship product.... But I'm just to full on a bowl of soup and 4 wings. Decided to try Joey Bs and was far from impressed. The wait was outrageous. Took 45 minutes to get food and when we did, it was cold. The prices were ridiculous. 12 dollars for a small flatbread. 10 dollars for a craft beer. Then the food itself was mediocre. The steak on the flatbread had no taste. The fries weren't great. The best part was the nachos. Definitely not going back. read more

After a long day of white water rafting and scrolling through tons of restaurants on Yelp to eat at 9PM, I stumbled across this place. Immediately upon parking in front of the restaurant, my family of twelve was greeted by the owner and invited inside to dine. He sat us inside temporarily until a table out in the patio freed up, then he personally walked us over. We had six children, two of very young ages, and were initially iffy about going to a "bar and restaurant", but any unsure thoughts disappeared once we were comfortably seated. The hospitality of the owner and waitresses throughout the night made it an unforgettable experience for my family and I. The owner even suggested his own personalized, not-on-the-menu dish ("the Woody") which ended up being a hit amongst my family. Besides great hospitality, the food far surpassed our expectations. "The Woody" was unique and delicious, the burgers were cooked perfectly, the wings were smothered in delectable sauces, and the atmosphere gave us a perfect, homey feel to enjoy our meal. If I ever come back to this area, I would definitely stop again. Everything about this restaurant was superb (I can't speak for the bar, but if I ever come back with just friends I would definitely give it a go), and I couldn't have made a better decision. read more

I've never had something at Joey B's that I didn't like. But I order the hog wings pretty often! They get crowded, and sometimes you have to wait for a seat - it's no wonder because they have great food. Service is always great and it's nice to see the owners always pitching in. Definitely recommend to anyone to check them out. read more

Since my last review where I was reviewing our first two visits, my wife and I have been back easily 4 or 5 additional times. I feel as though it was a 5 star experience the first two times, the last several have been mediocre. Maybe they get too busy for their own good. Service has been slow, and it seems like they won't clear our table of dirty cups and plates until the bill comes. Doesn't matter if we had soup, wings, and 3 waters...all the plates just pile up on the end of the table. The best thing they still have going is their beer list but we're gonna be checking out some other spots since our visits went from great to forgettable. read more

Joey B's was great! Delicious burger (they were huge!), super friendly staff. I believe the owners were there when I went. It was a married couple who was very attentive to us and our needs. Even when our loaded nachos order got lost. The owner came out and apologized. She was very sympathetic and truly cared. The food was really very good. The only small mistake that occurred which we did not tell the staff because we were too Hungary to care to much was my burger and my buddies were switched. We know this because he order medium well and I ordered it well. My buddy got the well burger and I got the medium well. Great place all in all. It was sort of a hidden gem. I have it 4 stars for the mistakes but it truly was a great place to go and get a beer and a nice juicy burger. Good sports bar! read more
