Chili with a kick was perfect on a delicious dog! The freshly made onion rings and fries were fantastic!

It is a pleasure to eat food prepared hot and fresh. My wife and I ate lunch at Joeys and enjoyed our hotdogs and onion rings.

Hot dogs are truly the best we have eaten. It came with fries and onion rings and both were hot and crispy. My husband got slaw on his dog and it is homemade and delicious. The owner was so nice. We will go back each time we are at the beach. read more

Great food. My boyfriend and I wanted a cheaper option for dinner, so we decided on Joey doggs. The man working the cashier(we didn't get his name so I'm explaining him as the guy at the cashier lol) was awesome. He did everything we requested, was super friendly. Hes awesome. I definitely recommend this place. I got the Joey dog and a cheeseburger. Both were very good. Juicey burger with flavor. And the chili on the hot dog was delicious. It was ok. We came because my kids were excited to eat out of dog bowls and that was the best part. Fries were not well cooked. Chicken tenders were nothing special. Burger was ok but overly sloppy to eat. We won't go out of our way to return. read more

Love the good. You can taste the freshness in the onion rings and French fries. Great idea serving good in dog bowls. That really made the experience. The owner and his wife were awesome. They took the time to explain everything to us, what everything on their menu was and what you could have in a double and what didn't come that way. While we were eating they came on and were talking to everyone. Not just about the food but where they were from, their lives and anything. They really made you feel welcome in their establishment. We came to this restaurant while visiting Myrtle Beach for the first time. It was delicious! The service is excellent and the food is made fresh. They serve the food in little plastic dog bowls which I thought was very creative. I will definitely keep coming back to this place. I wish there was a place like this back home! Delicious and Fresh. First time we tried Joey Doggs and we will definitely be back soon. We went mid vacation and my son begged to go back everyday. Saw good reviews so my mom and I decided to have lunch. Got the Joey dogs and a bowl of fries and onion rings. Fries and onion rings were great. The hot dog was good but could have been hotter. Very, very, very slow service. Don't go hungry. Our kids were very upset and kept asking for us to get our money back and go some where else. If we had the time, that's what we would have done. Finally got the food and it was served in a dog dish...fitting, because that's what it tasted like...dog food! Do yourself a favor and keep driving! read more

I went here a few times about a year ago ...hot dog was average but the French fries were amazing...good enough that i remember seeing an article saying it was on a list for top places to get french fries in SC...i went back like a week ago...got the hot dog which was average and i was honestly excited for the fries...unfortunately they werent the same as before....i did not recognize the people at the front maybe new ownership...but overall the place is OK... worth giving a try read more

My boyfriend and I actually considered hopping on a cheap $35 Spirit flight just to have a Joey Dog. Seriously. I don't even like chili dogs. At all. But they were out of this world! We were craving just a plain grilled hot dog, but it was off season and the week after hurricane Matthew hit, so the burger shacks by the beach were closed or still cleaning up. I found Joey Doggs on Yelp, and it was honestly one of my best Yelp discoveries. The owners and staff are so so so friendly and genuinely happy to help you. And I'll admit, when I heard the owner speak I was so excited to hear a Jersey accent; I knew the food would be great. Served in dog bowls, these were easily the best chili dogs we've ever had. They had the perfect amount of flavor and heat, we literally scraped our bowls clean. Fair prices, ample parking, unassuming location, awesome staff, amazing chili dogs. A must try if you're in the area, we can't wait to go back! read more
