Got a picture! Can you believe how beautiful this cake is??
    Linda W.

My friend bought a Tres Leche cake for a get together and I can't remember the last time I've been so impressed with a cake! It was absolutely beautiful... I don't know what she paid for it, but the beauty of it was right up there with Sweetie, pies and other high-end bakeries! I can't believe I didn't get a picture, but maybe it's something they make quite often. It just had the most beautiful yellow flowers on the top. Seriously, I was blown away! She said the people were just as friendly as ever! I never knew Mexican bakeries made cakes either! I thought they only made pastries! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

    Lots.of.goodies to try

This place opens before and closes way later than any other bakery in the area, which makes it a gem since all other bakeries in Napa are only open for a short window during my working hours, or so it seems (would love to be corrected!). I went here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of pastries. But also incredibly confused because nothing is labeled. No matter, I picked up 8 different items anyway for a total of $11. Of the four I've tried so far, the one must-have is definitely the concha. I was lucky to get one as soon as they came out of the oven, so you know I ate that one in the car! It was soft with a balanced sweetness that I really liked. Would've been fantastic with a cup of coffee. Looking forward to the surprise of trying the rest!

Wow! This place is just a little bakery tucked in across the street from Napa HS. I've always meant to try it but just never had. After the usual donut place was closed on. a Saturday (weird, right?!?) we went here and were blown away! My daughter and I grabbed a tray and tongs and proceeded to load up on all the goodness! I got a croissant, she got cake and then we picked out a few donuts and conchas - 6 huge items and it came to less than $10 We will be back! And we will be telling everyone we know. Picture is of our super soft and spongy cake with sweet pink icing - not dry at all!

Trash. Don't come here unless you want some old pastries. Bought to churros today and they tasted like they've been sitting out for week. Went straight to the trash. Never again. Today was the third time I came here and my sh*t tasted like it was weeks old.

    Ahhhhhhhhh so amazing!!!!!

BEST EVER TRES LECHES!!!!!. We ordered our engagement cake from Joey's Bakery, and all of our guests devoured the Tres Leches and the two layered cake (red velvet and champagne) Their cake were very soft and fluffy and the presentation was on point. Ordering the cake was very easy and timely; communication was on point! I could not compare their pastry anywhere else just because they're just truly the best Mexican bakery! Please don't miss out and try their goodies!!!!

First time here at this little place in Napa! Ran into it as i had lunch at a close by restaurant and thought i would ck it out as it says Mexican pastries! I bought several pastrie items , reasonable prices just note they only take CASH. I saw the sign after i grabbed the pastries! The gal at register was not very friendly! They also custom bake cakes for all occassions and sale milk and some other drinking items! After i got home that evening my family shared different pastries and overall the were just ok. A little on the dry side. My favorite ones that have custard in them that have a flaky bread crust to them barely had any custard in comparison to some other places! Definately will not come back! To bad really was hoping this little business was better! Hopefully the custom cake business is better!

Found out they sell tiny conchas here, its a very small place and I was confused as to where it was even with the GPS but I found it! Parking is a bit hard to find but qs you enter the bakery the smell of fresh baked bread is sooo gooood!!! The tiny conchas werre delicious and served warm! You do have to call a day in advance for the tiny conchas but they had regular sized conchas baked.

The balance of bread to meat was perfect. Would definitely purchase egg muffins to go next time. The coffee was also hot and delicious. I tried the pumpkin spice latte and it was one of the best I've had. This trendy coffee hotspot is located behind oxbow market and is a short walk from the bridge that overlooks the Napa river. I came in today to pick up a pie that I had ordered over the phone, and unfortunately, what should have been a simple pickup turned into an extremely disappointing experience. When I called to place my order, the person I spoke with told me the pie would be $35. However, when I arrived to pick it up, I was charged $45. My receipt clearly shows that I was charged $45 for a "Whole peach blackberry pie." I understand that prices can change or mistakes can happen, but if a customer is quoted one price when placing an order, any difference should at least be explained at pickup. To make matters worse is when I cut the pie, it was not the peach blackberry pie I had ordered. As shown in my second photo, what I received is an old fashioned Apple pie instead. So not only was I charged $10 more than the price I was quoted over the phone, I did not even receive the pie that I ordered and paid for. In addition, The person who was taking orders and working as the cashier was also extremely rude, dismissive, and unwelcoming. I initially did not catch her name, but according to my receipt, the server/cashier was Kelly F. For identification purposes, she was a younger woman with extensive tattoos. What makes this even more disappointing is that this is now the third time I have encountered this same employee, and each time I have experienced the same rude and unfriendly demeanor. After three separate encounters, it is difficult to simply chalk it up to someone having a bad day. There was no sense of friendliness, professionalism, or basic customer service during my interaction with her. Anyone working directly with customers should understand that the way customers are spoken to and treated reflects directly on the business. At this point, I genuinely feel that the business owner should consider assigning her to a position in the back where she does not have to interact directly with customers. If customer service is not her strength, having her at the front interacting with customers reflects poorly on the business and can leave people with a negative impression regardless of the quality of the food. Between being quoted $35, charged $45, receiving the wrong pie, and once again experiencing rude customer service, this entire experience was unacceptable. After three encounters with the same type of customer service, I finally felt it was necessary to leave a review. Management really needs to address this. Based on my experience, I would give zero stars if Yelp allowed it.

The place is small, but there's a lot going on. The smell hit me as soon as I walked in. Fresh bread, butter, pastries... basically everything I want to smell in the morning. The staff was really friendly, too. There were so many things to choose from that it honestly took me a minute to decide. Baguettes, sandwiches, pastries, and all kinds of baked goods. I kept looking around thinking I should've gotten something else. I ended up going with the kouign amann. I'd never had one before, and it was kind of like a croissant and a donut had a baby. The inside had those flaky, buttery layers you'd expect from a croissant, but the outside was covered in caramelized sugar that baked into this golden, crunchy shell. It had a nice crack when I bit into it, then turned soft and buttery inside. The caramelized sugar gave it this toasted, almost caramel flavor without making it overly sweet. Simple, but really good with that buttery richness. Definitely a good way to start the morning.

You get a menu and order at the counter, and despite the long line, that gave us enough time to pick what we wanted to eat. Once we got the counter, there were fresh bakery donuts, and pastry options so got of course adding a sweet treat to share. They give you an order number, and you then go find a table and they will bring you it. If you ordered a drink after the check out counter you can grab your drink. Here's what we ordered for the 3 of us which was plenty! Superfood bowl $15 (5/5) This was super refreshing. The mix of the cut up, strawberries, apples, blueberries, nuts, coconut flakes, chia, and dried fruits over yogurt and passionfruit honey. I mean that tasted SUPER and wayyy delicious medley together. Pork Belly Loco Moco $22 (5/5) OMG get this! And don't forget to upgrade to garlic rice ($2 more) and add you can add avocado ($4 if you want lil pricey butttt just do it since you are trying to balance out the healthy in this dish). Braised soft pork belly pieces, with 2 runny eggs and fried rice and mix it all up together. Monkey Bread $7 (4/5) Yes, this is what we saw on the counter. Me being a fatty stopped myself from getting extra donuts but maybe next time. You can pull apart the pieces to share. The top had a nice chocolate topping and inside was chewy sweetness. Fresh OJ $8 (4/5) Fresh, so like freshly squeeze thus the high price. Good for you. Large Coffee with 4 shots Americano $5.50 (4/5) Can go wrong with a wake me up coffeeeeeeeeeee Would definitely come back to try the other dishes when were in town.
