Pork defrosting on the pavement in the sun

I've never eaten here and after seeing this, I'm glad I haven't. This is quite concerning and should not be taking place.

Want to go to a beautiful German Bier Garden in the cocoa area, stop into the spacious Village Bier Garten. This spacious German pub/restaurant has great German pours and great German eats. Definitely get the pretzel with delicious house made beer cheese. The pretzel is giant and definitely shareable. The bartender was great, we talked to her the longest out of our pub pass stops in Cocoa and the beer she recommended was perfect for me. They have a stage but no events were happening at the time, but I would love to come back and get a beer with some love music.

Plenty of other spots in the area that I'm sure are better than this. The beer was warm & food was fried junk. Strange atmosphere of German vibes as well as tropical, that don't really go together. The large pretzel appetizer was pretty good, although the sauce that came with it (not the mustard) was unidentifiable...

Bday party ! I was able to add decorations & appreciated it greatly

I have been to this restaurant twice. Once for a date & the other I book to celebrate my friend's birthday. Both scenarios are great to do at this venue. They are going to have a new menu with vegan/vegetarian dishes. If you're trying to make a reservation for 6 or more people, their website says to call but no one picks the phone up. I had to go in-person to reserve an area for the birthday party. They could improve by picking up their phone or setting up an automatic voice machine that provides info or change their policy to making future reservations in person. Besides that, I can't complain much-- this is a solid place to go in cocoa village! Date experience: - pork shank is one of their best entrees. I can't remember exactly all the dishes I tried on the date but I enjoyed the food. - good ambiance. They had a live German musician which I appreciated. I enjoyed the entertainment & would come again to see authentic German culture. Birthday: We had a party of 8 people & they happily reserved the dining area for us without any issues. I loved it because I was able to decorate it a bit with balloons & a birthday sign. Food was phenomenal. They have a good beer selection, big Moscow mule pitcher & skis for their "shot skis". It was Saturday night, so they had a dj from 9pm to late. Early evening they had a German musician. Our bill was a little under $500 for the birthday. We decent amount of appetizers, an entree & the drinks. They provide a free dessert if you want it but we didn't need it cause I brought a cake. If you want to bring a cake, they cannot hold it in the restaurant's fridge for health reasons but you're more than welcome to bring one. I bought a frozen cake from Publix and after an hour or so it was ready to eat !

This place has banging food. Amazing food. It's surprising to me that it only has three stars on here. Not sure why that is. Maybe it's service-based. But I do know that the reason that I am not able to boost that score for them is because they really messed my friends up. They are vegetarians, and the menu online says that they have vegetarian options. But alas, when we showed up, they said the vegetarian options are not available for weekend lunch. It's 2022, and that's really inexcusable. So my veg friends were basically forced to eat salads and bread. Cool. Other than all that, like I said, the food was banging. We started off with the Giant Pretzel (Fresh baked Pretzel served with mustard dipping sauce and a cheese dip). Which had an amazing bite on the outside, a great chew on the inside, the perfect amount of salt on the outside. Delicious. I got to try their classic Wienerschnitzel (Breaded pork to perfection. Topped with lemon slices. Served with potato salad). Very crispy breading, moist throughout, even through this pork was pounded pretty thin. And the potato salad was nice and soft and cold and a good balance to the schnitzel itself. My main dish, though, was the Jagerschnitzel (Breaded pork topped with a mushroom sauces. Served with spaetzel). Same amazing pork cutlets, but with a rich, Very mushroom sauce completely enveloping them. Amazing. And the spaetzel. Everyone loves spaetzel. If you don't, you just haven't had it yet. Order it, try it. I ordered a Red Cabbage side for some freshness and acid. Add a little here, a little there, some to a couple of bites. It's good stuff. Overall, the food was amazing. Yes, the service was ok, but I never let that knock down my five star awards, but that along with their lack of caring or effort for satisfying all of their customers really killed it for me.

We were in Cocoa Beach for the Art Walk and stopped in for a drink and appetizer. We had our dogs and they allowed us to sit at a table because it was an outside type of establishment. We ordered an old fashioned, a Guinness, and a giant pretzel, along with water for our dogs. The old fashioned was drinkable, but not enjoyable. The Guinness tasted odd, but hubby went with it. No water ever came. I even walked up to the bartender to get water and still didn't get any. Finally asked the waitress AGAIN, and got water! Later on, the waitress walked over and said the bartender poured the wrong beer for my hubby. Instead of just leaving the partially empty beer and giving him the Guinness, she took it and handed him the right drink. Strange. When the pretzel arrived, we were shocked to see it literally covered in white, I mean salt!! lol Sooo gross. We wiped as much salt off as possible so it would be somewhat edible. The dipping cheese was pretty much canned nacho sauce. The dipping mustard was ok, but not something to ride home about.

Service, food and location were great. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. Our party of four had different meals and we enjoyed had a good time as we ate on the patio. I had the stuffed cabbage and will order this again. Next time, we will try an appetizer......so many different ones to try.

We came here with a large party on a Sunday for brunch. The service was a bit slow to start as our server told us they were down two people but once our table was wiped down and we were seated, it seemed pretty standard. The servers were very nice and made excellent recommendations. The food seemed pretty authentic and we enjoyed all the food but especially the potato pancakes, sausages and apple strudel. We sat inside to try to avoid the wind but the place has a pretty little courtyard where they play live music. We enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back.

Let's start with it's not worth the money. If u don't mind orders messed up and them not having items like lettuce on your sandwich that is supposed to be on it. I think they should tell you so you can not order what comes with it! Chicken sandwich was average not fan of roll! The fries were ok. Wings were good tho I would just order wings I guess. I would go elsewhere if my choice. Most likely won't be back.

We found parking easily and were greeted immediately inside the restaurant. The restaurant was busy, lively, and felt cozy. There was happy hour specials($5 appetizers and beer) going on when we arrived so we decided to order off that menu. To do so, you do have to order at the bar so keep that in mind. We were led to the bar room and it was spacious and alot more quiet than the main dining area. Our server was attentive and made sure we were taken care of. We had the following: Pretzel with mustard and cheese: 7.5/10 - it was a bit salty but combined with the sweet mustard was delicious! Since it was the smaller version of their giant pretzel, it was only $5 and worth every penny! It was a pretty good size and enough to share between the both of us. I liked the cheese spread too but it was bit rich for me. The mustard was definitely our favorite dip! Potato pancakes with applesauce and sour cream: 9/10 - this was by far my favorite appetizer. The potato pancakes were fried perfectly and the crispy edges were delightful! I didn't think I would enjoy apple sauce and sour cream together but it worked so well with the fried pancake. It cuts through the grease and adds a little sweetness. The portion size was hefty too for $5! Bratwurst with hot mustard: 8/10 - There were a variety of flavors we could choose from and I chose cajun since I love spicy flavors. The bratwurst was cooked perfectly and it was also cut into pieces for easy eating. For $5 you get a big bratwurst and some mustard. I wish it was a little spicier but nonetheless, it was juicy, flavorful, and had that signature snap of a great bratwurst. Jaeger schnitzel: 9/10 - my husband chose the veal and he said it's one of the best schnitzels he's ever eaten. I could see the joy in his face in each and every single bite. It came with warm, pickled cabbage and spaetzle. The schnitzel and spaetzle were covered in this absolutely delightful gravy. I had a bite of everything and it was divine! My husband has lived in Germany and he said it was very reminiscence of his time there. It was a pretty hefty portion too and I knew he loved it when he cleaned his plate completely haha Apple streusel: 9/10 - The apples combined with the flakiness of the pastry and hints of cinnamon was like a warm, cozy hug on a winter day. I cannot explain to you how yummy this was. The pastry itself was light, airy, and each bite made us smile. Definitely try this dessert out! German beer: 9/10 - Husband enjoyed his beer very much and I took a sip. It tasted pretty light and not too heavy. Overall, we will definitely be coming back if we're in the area. Service and food were absolutely great! Prices were reasonable for the portion size too! It's located in a really cute historic area that was perfect for a mid day date or to walk around and explore. They also have their own German cafe/market that you can snacks, cookies, cakes, candies, meats, cheeses, etc. from too!

This gem at Epcot is so charming and really transports you to Germany through the interactive dinner show. We had about a half hour before they started so we ordered some authentic German biers and went to scope out the buffet. All our soft drinks were included in the buffet but we wanted their wheat beer too. I will preface that if you like German food, this is great. If you don't, you might not appreciate the dishes as much but our family is German-American and grew up with some of these dishes so it was fun. All of the salads were a hit, especially the beets, seasonal Strawberry salad, and pasta salad. The beer cheese soup and pretzel bread is incredible! So creamy and rich, a great starter. We also loved the meatballs, pork schnitzel with wine sauce, and bratwursts. The salmon was a little dry but the dill flavor was really great. The freshly cut green apples with creamy caramel were so yummy to finish the meal, along with the apple pastry topped with vanilla sauce. The other desserts were just ok. Overall the cute theming inside (designed to look like a biergarten at night) and music are a great bonus to the hearty German dishes that really hit the spot. We will definitely recommend to friends who want a fun dining experience. Shoutout to our amazing waitress Presca who was so attentive and kind. I was a bit early for my pickup, and while I waited I was even offered a water. It smells so incredible in here that I was already so excited for my meal. I ordered the Polish plate, because it's my first experience trying Polish cuisine. I wanted an opportunity to try many different dishes, and this plate included Golabki, Potato & Cheese Pierogis, Potato Pancakes, and one Polish Sausage. A friend of mine raved about his mother's golabki for years, so naturally I started my meal with that. Wow, it was incredible! It almost reminded me of a spaghetti dish with its vivid tomato flavor. I really love that the roll holds together well when you're eating it with a knife and fork. I'm going to ask my friend for a recipe because it seems like it would be a good go to meal. I think my next favorite item was the polish sausage. I do enjoy eating sausages, but sometimes I'm just not a fan of how some are seasoned. That wasn't a problem with this polish sausage, because it was delicious and flavored just to my liking. Now pierogis I have tried before, and I'm not sure if they are polish origin or a neighboring country, but I have always enjoyed them. These cheese and potato pierogis were exactly as I expected them. They were cooked well and stuffed with filling. I shared a few with my nephew who is a bit picky, and to our surprise he was enjoying them. I would definitely give another flavor option a try! The final item was the potato pancakes and I think they were cooked well, but I think I would have preferred a little more salt to bring out the flavor. I plan to research Polish food after this visit and see how each dish is usually eaten. There were 3 condiments that accompanied my meal, but I didn't use them. For the most part, each dish was delicious all on its own. The Polish plate is definitely enough to share between 2 people, and you'd probably have just enough room for dessert as well. I know the pistachio cheesecake will definitely see me, if I find myself in the Daytona beach area again! Thank you Dill Schnitzel & Pierogi House for an amazing first experience with Polish cuisine!

It was literally steps to the beach so that was nice to stroll out there before/after. After poking around some shops, I made my way upstairs to Dill! The place is cute and colorful! Loved the European decor! I was there on a Tuesday night and there were only 2 other tables sat so pretty dead at the time. Server was lovely, cheerful, and helpful! They don't have a full bar but do serve beer and wine so was able to get a glass of vino. I really wanted schnitzel and pierogies but unfortunately you can only get the pierogies by the dozen (unless you get the big combo meal which comes with 6 rogis and a shit ton of other food). Problem was, I had a 6am flight the next morning so no way I would be able to eat any leftovers. I asked if there was ANY way I could just get like 2 rogis and she unfortunately said no (I totally get it, but maybe add smaller options in the future!). So I went with a cup of borscht soup and the pork schnitzel. The soup was served hot (I've only ever had it cold) and was very good! The schnitzel was legit the biggest schnitzel I've ever seen in my life and it's a GOOD THING I didn't get rogis in addition to it lol. I immediately cut it in half and was only able to eat that much. I got the mushroom sauce too and that was so yummy with the schnitzel! The potatoes and slaw were very good too, loved how refreshing the slaw was!! You would never think to look for this kind of food in Daytona of all places, but it's definitely worth a stop! If I had anyone dining with me, I could see getting a few dishes to split because of how large the schnitzel was. Wonderful place with great service and delicious food, just wish I was able to try those rogis!
