Our waitress arrived fairly quickly, our drinks and food were delivered in a timely manner. I would rate this restaurant a 4, but my smash burger was just okay. And, normally a smash burger is a thin patty or two fried with crispy sides. This one was two normal sized patties on top of each other (double burger). I would not order it again. My husband did enjoy his cheese burger, though. The fries were battered and good. I would return if in the area, but i'd try something else on the menu. The Cernia Alla Pescatore was very flavorful and everything was cook to perfection. For desert, I had the Profiteroles ($17): cream puff filled with vanilla ice cream and topped with hot chocolate fudge. What a great way to end a fantastic meal!!! One if you know you have multiple reservations don't take walk ins... there were a few parties behind me with the same issue. Two there is no where covered to wait for a table (inside is too small; outside has 0 protection from the elements). You have one of the nicest restaurants in Lakeland; however there is no excuse for treating customers this way. I have been here several times and my close friends in Lakeland have been coming for years. Do better.

We're both had Penne Abruzzi which had sausage, onions and a tasty pomodoro sauce. It came with soup or salad. We both had salad. The restaurant doesn't do substitutions on the soup so it's the soup of the day or salad. They also wouldn't Switch the penne pasta for linguine pasta, only for spaghetti. So we had one spaghetti abruzzi and one penne abruzzi. Being a group of ten each check had a 20% tip added. Also 3.5% added for credit card payment.
