I noticed that almost every review is from several years ago, most of them negative. People have a tendency to take the time to write a review that is negative. So I want to update with a positive review of my experience. First of all, I used to go to Anton's in N. Reading and had several very bad experiences--missing items that were promised but just in the wrong place with the counter person too lazy to continue looking, etc. So I tried John Anton's. I have always had my items ready on time, even on short notice. The big plus is the monthly coupons for varying categories. saving me over $100 in a couple years. Terrible.... dropped off shirts and pants before a trip. They took my information, lost my clothes and keep saying it was because I didn't have a tag on my bag. Spent an hour in the store looking on the carousel... After my first order as a new customer I got a $5 coupon enticing me to come back. So I did. The counter help told me the $5 would be taken off upon pickup. When I was charged full price at pickup I protested. I even offered to show my coupon to them again. I was told it had to be done at drop off and there was nothing she could do. I asked for the office number and was told they didn't have one. I needed my suit that day so I paid the full price and walked away feeling hoodwinked. With so many dry cleaning options available I will never set foot inside a John Anton's again. Zero stars. read more

I was a little worried at first, I set up dry cleaning - pick up and delivery service all online - the process just seemed to easy. My cleaning has always been picked up and dropped off on time. I have emailed customer service a couple times with general questions, since I was new to the service, and my emails were always answered quickly and with real answers and assistance. The service just magically happens and not having to go the cleaners is wonderful. You are given set days for pick up and delivery which I like so if I need a particular item on a certain day I know exactly when to expect it back. They offer many different types of services and the prices have all been reasonable. I have only used the Andover location. read more

John Anton's cleaners is absolutely horrible. The folks who run it are rude and disrespectful to their clients. I sent in 4 pieces to be dry cleaned and they weren't ready on time. They burnt a hole in an expensive dress of mine and claimed that it was my fault. Absolutely atrocious customer service. Don't get your dry cleaning done there. read more

The worst service ever. Dont waste your time. Not only did I wait a week over max pick up time to finally get my garment.. but there is a stain on it and they charged me full price. I called daily to see if it was ready. It wasn't until the day I picked it up. Supposedly it was ready the whole time but they misplaced and couldn't find it. Awesome. Not to mention the unprofessional staff and manager. Never again. read more
