Vortic said they could fix it for 500$. I paid the 500$ IN ADVANCE, and mailed the watch. After many months, many emails, many calls, and LOTS of waiting (over 6 months) they had not even begun to repair the watch. Not to mention this watch came with a factory defect (a piece of debris inside the case), it also absorbed sweat inside the case and started rusting inside. Just after a few weeks use. Finally the watch was mailed back to me BUT Vortic sent the watch to the wrong address and then when I emailed them stating that it was mailed to my old home. NO REPLY. This is not a real company. They make a watch a day and that is the extent of this company. Do not expect any level of customer service after you buy a watch from them. Many times they didn't even answer the phone.

Diagnosed problem on Mar 6, but did not complete the repair at that time for some unknown reason. Invoiced me for $850 with a credit of $170...so, $680! I have not paid that because nobody will answer an email or phone. I'll pay for the repair once I know it's been completed and ready for shipment not before. Then I'll move to sell it for a loss just to be done with it.

He came in just for us. It was an easy conversation and absolutely no pressure. Within twenty minutes we had purchased the barn door and Jason scheduled installation three to four weeks out (they were working on a huge project at the time). Along the way Jason kept us abreast of the progress of the door while sending us photos of the door in production -- very nice. Well, they were able to install it on time and were done in about three hours. We can not say enough about how happy with are with the barn door and the whole experience dealing with everyone at Story Barns. I was charged $70 with this shop while Jared tried to charge me $110. Second, to remove a star for political views hurts the business that this owner had put his blood and sweat into making. I have a handful of watches that I just wanted batteries put in, a Skaagen and Movado watch that I wanted batteries, cleaned also fully appraised because of their value, a couple expensive pocket watches, and some random jewelry that I received from my grandfather. My grandparents didn't buy cheap jewelry over the years. So I wanted someone to take a look and give me an idea of value for my lawyers and for insurance. I was talking to a lovely lady who told me the price of their services and asked if I could leave everything and they would take care of it and determine what was worth anything and what is just sentimental and would take care of the watches. Then Scott Rettmer stepped in and proceeded to make me feel like crap for wasting their time. Told me that he wouldn't buy any of my items and I was just wasting their time. I was floored. I was willing to spend my money for their services and was happy to be patient, and then Scott stepped in and lost a good customer. So you have to realllly want a setting from zales if that's what your in the market for. But there selections is so basic and I thought pretty boring so I didn't get it. I wouldn't say I was really greeted more like barked at after waiting about 5-10 minutes. The person didn't make eye contact or look up so I actually had to be like who me? Their website claims to be diamond experts but no one at the stores really seem to have that knowledge. I think if you decided to shop their website and find something that you had to have this is fine for that, or maybe a quick browse but they were unwilling to show me anything or even look at my diamond or even budget for whenever their future event was. Most legitimate jewelers will give you advice, look at what your working with, help guide you into a purchase that is right for you and educate you. That's the difference between others stores and zales. Zales is a just jewelry store, other shops are jewelers too. I get that they must work on commission but to be so rude and unwilling to help a customer shop just because they assumed I only was a semi mount customer is really dumb from a sales perspective. They lost all future sales from me and have left a lasting bad impression that I have shared with many which is never good for a business since word of mouth is more powerful then any other type of marketing.
