While I don't love the shape of the implant (we're always our own worst critics), I fully understand and truly believe that the best possible job was done with what he had to work with. Unfortunately, I've had some bad experiences with Dentisits. When I finally decided to take action I took a look at the reviews on Yelp and decided to give La Frontera Dental a shot. On my first visit I made it known that I was nervous but unfortunately, their block lost power before I could be seen by the Doctor and I thought... just my luck lol. They were able to get me rescheduled a few days later and I'm so thankful that I got paired with his dental assistant, Melanie. She listened to my concerns, assured me that I was at the right place, eased my anxiety and told me that they'd help me. She made me feel so comfortable which is exactly what I needed in that moment. When I was seen by Dr. Satish he assured me that we'd come up with a plan to get me feeling better. I received a plan of action which I could alter depending on my availability of funds (dental work is not cheap!). I've already been back for step one which were filings and that appointment went well. I already have my second procedure scheduled. I think I'll request Melanie to assist with any of my future visits because she just made me feel so comforted. But honestly everyone I've encountered there from the front desk staff to Dr. Satish himself have been very welcoming and extremely friendly. The front desk is always welcoming (shout out to Brandon!), and Dr. Stec is also usually there with a smile and a wave. The wait time is never longer than a couple minutes for me, and the cleanings/procedures themselves are always pretty efficient. I especially appreciated when I first started coming - I was looking for a dentists' office after many years of not going to a dentist because of bad experiences. The office had me fill out a questionnaire which included asking about previous experiences, and when I came in, Brandon and Dr. Stec were extremely aware of my responses and made sure to walk me through every step and ensure that I was comfortable. Most recently, I went in for a couple fillings and as always, the wait time was very short. The procedure itself was not too bad - they made sure to check in multiple times throughout and had me confirm that the tooth felt right at the end. I think this is my third or fourth time back for adjustments since I got a bottom denture from AFD. They are so accommodating and kind. They keep going until it is working for you. I think we finally worked out all the kinks and I was overwhelmed with emotion about how good my denture felt when I left today. I loved my previous dentist and was loyal to him but we relocated to Austin a little less than a year ago and so we can't go to Huntington Beach for cleanings anymore. No problem this women run business has all the cool tech and amazing client care I have come to adore and they have amazing bedside manner. I appreciate that your first appointment is thoroughly checking your baseline and you can see over your next cleanings what progress needs to be made and they track it for you. They have the coolest 3D imagery technology too. I also had my teeth whitened (over $1000) for my wedding and it whitened my teeth 2 -2 &1/2 levels which made a difference in the close up pictures! Because of them I'm more motivated to floss because I want to improve my progress! They are also incredible about trying to respect your time and schedule you if you have an emergency. (Individual results may vary but found them to be very accommodating)
