Highly recommend giving this office a try for your dental needs! I've been coming to this office for several years now and can attest to their professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness. The front desk is always welcoming (shout out to Brandon!), and Dr. Stec is also usually there with a smile and a wave. The wait time is never longer than a couple minutes for me, and the cleanings/procedures themselves are always pretty efficient. I especially appreciated when I first started coming - I was looking for a dentists' office after many years of not going to a dentist because of bad experiences. The office had me fill out a questionnaire which included asking about previous experiences, and when I came in, Brandon and Dr. Stec were extremely aware of my responses and made sure to walk me through every step and ensure that I was comfortable. Most recently, I went in for a couple fillings and as always, the wait time was very short. The procedure itself was not too bad - they made sure to check in multiple times throughout and had me confirm that the tooth felt right at the end. This place unhygienic, I walked by the back once. Looking for the restroom, and it very dirty in the back. All the instruments were in the sink. I highly doubt they were cleaned properly, the doctor is also very disrespectful. He has a big attitude, and his office is dirty. Most horrific experience ever. Completely unprofessional office. I went in for a dental cleaning and left feeling like I had been in a dental sweat shop. I love how low stress this office is for a dental visit. I'm always in and out pretty quickly, though it never feels rushed. Even the few dental issues I do have aren't made out to be scary or stressful, they just explain things, explain my options and timelines, and let me make decisions. I also asked Dr. Stec to fix a front tooth filling for a tiny chip and shape my tooth from where the previous ownership of this office overdid it a bit, and I feel much more confident. He took more of a "tiny bit at a time" approach and let me keep checking to see how I felt about what he was doing, and I am so grateful! He also got my husband in as an emergency patient having never seen him before. My husband barely ever has dental issues and this was for a crown, so he was very nervous, and Dr. Stec made it not stressful at all for him. He's now a regular patient, too! read more

I went to Beck Commons Dental for the first time because my dentist moved out of state. I can say that going to the dentist is one of my least favorite things to do! The visit was great! I felt very comfortable and welcome! The dentist,Dr. Stec was very thorough and customer centered. I really can say that this was my first time in a very long time that my semi-annual dentist visit was enjoyable. Dr. Stec and I talked about flavorful coffee and he gave me a tip that I will try. I got a "new patient" coupon in the mail for a $59 cleaning which also included an exam and x-rays plus a take home whitening kit that included the molds for $1!! What a deal! I thought I'd take advantage of that. My appointment was at 0930 and they asked I arrive a few minutes early to fill out the paperwork. I arrived at 0915. It only took about five minutes to fill out the paperwork. They didn't call me back until 0945. Not sure why as it wasn't busy. First I want to point out that everyone here is super friendly. Deya was my hygienist and she was superb. I really enjoyed her and she did a great job with everything from the x-rays to brushing on the fluoride. I was expecting for 60 bucks to walk in here and get some half-assed rushed deal. Didn't quite go down that way. First we did the panoramic x-ray, then I was escorted to another room for additional x-rays and the exam, etc. Deya took an additional EIGHTEEN more x-rays. At one point I called her out and joked that she was screwing up a lot. She kinda laughed and told me this is standard procedure for new patients. Just when I thought the imaging was done she grabs this big fat looking pin thing and proceeds to move it towards my mouth. I was like "what the Hell is that?". It was a video camera. Yes, she took a video inside of my mouth so I could see all my teeth in color. Coffee stains do not look good. Just sayin'. After the video she did a check on some suspicious teeth with this laser thing. Appears I got some wisdom teeth that need to come out. Should've happened years ago, but, I don't like dentists. So after all this she alerts Dr. Madden that my images are ready for viewing. We move to the next phase. I am given the option of adding a cancer screening and fluoride treatment for an additional $40. Can't go wrong there. The cancer screening was done with this hair dryer looking thing that uses infrared light. Nothing to it. You just gotta keep your mouth open and do a lot of tongue dancing. After that, one of her colleagues comes in and helps her do the preliminary inspection. You know the one. I was kicked back in the chair with my mouth wide open and she was all up in my grill poking and prodding and calling out numbers and weird words and even weirder initials. There's a CRF on #10 and there's a slick run on #3. That kinda talk. I might as well have been in Russia. Finally we get through all that and Dr. Madden comes in. He talks for a bit then does his exam. Overall I got a "things look pretty good" , but, you need to get rid of those wisdom teeth. We talked options for doing that. After much discussion he suggested I go to a oral surgeon. Dr Madden said he would be happy to do the extraction himself, but, it would take two visits as opposed to one visit with the surgeon. I asked about numbing and he told me that he would use the injections and the nitrous oxide which would be like having a glass of wine. It was at this point that I told him I would need the whole bottle. He laughed at that and gave me a referral. After that Deya finished my cleaning and applied the fluoride treatment. While she was doing this she had the girl up front run some numbers for me on the extractions so I can compare them with the surgeon's quote. I'm happy I went in here today and I fill I got my money's worth for sure. If you didn't get a coupon in the mail check their website it's on there. New patients only. My thorough exam, x-rays, and, cleaning took two hours today. That's a standard for newbies. read more

My first visit to Beck Commons Dental was last week - it was amazing, which is not a work I typically use to describe a dental visit! My husband has been a patient there for a couple of years and finally talked me into changing dentists. I only wish I had done that sooner! Dr Stec and the entire staff are the incredible! He explained everything and gave me options - something my previous dentist of 20+ years did not ever do. I had a huge cavity under a crown - I elected to go with pulling that tooth and getting a bridge since it is in the back. That was a week ago, and I never had any pain at all! I work in healthcare and was very impressed with their office and the knowledge of the staff. Plus everyone is very friendly, which certainly doesn't hurt. I had to gave a star to post but they don't deserve any stars from me. I do not recommend this place. I went to them because they are located by my work. What a nightmare I don't even know where to start. I had a chipped tooth worked on and after the numbing went away I was in a lot of pain. I kept calling and texting the dentist and all they did was offer me pain killers. One month of nonstop pain with many text messages about my concerns of it and they did nothing. I couldn't sleep or eat because of the pain I had to miss work a few times over this. I trusted them when they told me nothing was wrong and the pain would go away. I finally went to Aspen dental as an emergency patient and I found out when Becks commons dental worked on me they compromised my nerve and caused a huge infection and thats were all my pain was coming from. After taking antibiotics for the infection they had to do a root canal. I payed a lot of money on top of the money I had already payed and all because I went to Becks commons dental. On top of all this and the money I had already paid they sent me a big bill. When I called Becks commons dental to get a detailed bill of what they are charging me for they never called me back but they did send it to a collection agency. I payed so much money to pay a mistake they did and now they still want money from me. So sad that they do this and get away with it. read more

I finally decided it was about time to get back in the chair and went with the recommendation from my wife for Dr. Madden. I think I may have found my dentist for life. All the staff were pleasant, welcoming, and very patient from the moment I came in to the office. Dr. Madden was also amazing - letting me know what he thought i needed done and then working with me to let me decide what i wanted to do right away and what I wanted to wait on. The office is great and the location on 620 is easy to get to. I highly recommend going to Dr. Madden and his team. I'm actually not dreading my next dentist visit for the first time ever. read more

I went here in an emergency the day before thanksgiving. My tooth had broke off under the gumline. 6 hours later i left with blood in my hair and all over my clothes. It was a painful nightmare. I now have an appointment with a reputable dentist on Monday to get it fixed. They charged me 600.00 and left half my tooth and all the roots. I will be turning this dentist into the medical board. He is a butcher. His wife and kids were in the waiting room like" hurry up we have to go". Dont go"! This doctor needs to have his license removed. He is a butcher! Stay away! read more

I was overdue for a cleaning and I didn't have insurance. I received a Beck Commons coupon in the mail and thought why not. The employees were all nice and everything was fine. They let me know I needed around $500 in fillings. I decided to get insurance and have the work done at Carus Dental (my old dentist office). They let me know that I did not need any fillings. I feel that Beck Commons was trying to squeeze more money out of me by doing dental work that I did not need. I would not recommend them to anyone. Carus Dental has been amazing over all the years that I've been with them. I felt other people should have this information about Beck Commons and their bad practices. The staff here is so incredibly nice and helpful, I could cry. Most of us dislike going to the dentist bc it can be painful and it kind of sucks when you feel like the staff belittles you bc of your oral health.. (I feel like I wouldn't be in such bad shape if most dentists I have encountered didn't embarrass me, or scold me like a child.) I had a dental emergency & Loretta at the front desk was so sweet and helpful ! she was great!! Thank goodness for Dr. Madden & his wonderful staff. They were so pleasant and absolutely thorough. I got a coupon for a cheap dental cleaning so I did it. Everyone was really nice and the cleaning went swimmingly. The only thing I didn't really appreciate is how pushy the dentist was. A dental assistant cleaned my teeth. I only ever saw the actual dentist at the end and he was like "we need to get you a root canal, like TODAY." Uhhh no. I'm using your coupon because I'm broke. You think I can just dish out money for a root canal the same day? Their payment plans aren't that great either. The person who explained the payment plans to me basically told me that the companies that help provide these plans are in it for the money so how they structure their payments and such works against me. Why the heck would I want that? I went to get a second opinion at another dentist and while they said I probably should get it, they also told me there were methods and medication they could use to hold off for a little bit which the beck commons never told me. read more

This is long but should give you an idea of what you might expect. The $60 coupon I used was great value for the cleaning was great value. I expected there to be downsides and there were. The dental tech tried to sell me on fluoride after asking me if I drank bottled water. Fluoride in the drinking water is for developing teeth. I feel this was intentionally misleading to upsell or worse - ignorant. The dentist comes in and says he can't look at the monitor in front of me because he has to look closely. So he has to do it literally behind my back and does so in hushed tones. I heard him asking the tech questions to ascertain my financial situation. ("Did he take the fluoride treatment ?") I suspect he would have recommended something different but took the short route that he thought maximized his longterm revenue. That is not acceptable and why he gets 2 stars. So after consulting her he told me I had 5 cavities and almost no other information. Ok. $60, why am I going to complain? So we setup an appointment to get the worst cavity filled. When I show up, it was never made clear but they scheduled 2 fillings. I had discussed it previously but was taken for a surprise but was ok with it. During the filling he randomly asks his dental tech for a "tooth pillow". It is called a chock, Mr Madden. I instantly refused that. There was no discussion about it. Just more of the same sneaky behavior. The procedure was otherwise done quickly and I have no other complaints. They are not cheap on the cavity fillings and likely above average in price. My expectations were no longer ghetto. He also told me the cavity was "worst case". I assume it was the one he didn't mention. A couple weeks later I get a call early in the morning asking me if I can come in today. Apparently they had a free spot, so they were calling me to see if I would come in. I don't think dentists should work like this. It wasn't like the dentists is booked up for months and they were trying to help me out. They didn't offer any incentive. They were just fishing for a person to fill in the scheduled time. Not a fan of being called before 9am because the dentist wants to make more money that day. I never made another appointment and instead went in to ask for my records. They politely gave them to me. There was no one rude. There was a veneer of professionalism, but this place is just interested in tweaking out their business model to extract the maximum. More money care, less medical care. The $60 coupon was excellent value and I don't fault them for trying to make up their money elsewhere, I just thought it could have been done differently. read more

Five stars all the way! I have been coming to Beck Commons for the past year for invisalign treatment/cleanings etc and cannot speak more highly of the entire place. The staff is EXTREMELY well run and efficient - and not to mention super friendly. I don't think I have ever had a "wait time" in all my visits there. The staff is polite and decent and the office is beautiful. Dr. Madden is just amazing and always takes the time to talk without making me feel rushed. The care he provides feels very personalized. I, like most, do not enjoy going to the dentists office but I definitely feel like my experience at Beck Commons has made dental care a breeze. I cannot recommend this place more!! read more
