We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast and weren't sure what to expect. This place exceeded our expectations. The mansion itself is beautiful. Every time we walked around the house we discovered more treasures, everything from the molding to antique pieces. The property has a lovely view of the Erie Canal. Each morning there was coffee waiting or us outside our door on a beautifully arranged tray. Then we went down to breakfast. I hate to repeat myself but the table was also beautifully arranged. We tried several different dishes during our stay, each one delicious. Our host, John and Rebecca, were there for our every need, without being intrusive. After running around all day It was so relaxing to return to our room each night. We asked several relatives to stop by and see the place. Our Aunt was thrilled as she had driven by hundreds of times and never been inside. She was not disappointed. One extra point. They have a friendly dog named Riley who helped us forget how much we missed our own pets. We plan to return here each time we return to Syracuse.

When I first opened the door I was impressed by the size of the room, huge is all I can say. The bed was warm and cozy, buy was I tired after a long day. The Inn also provided a Continental Breakfast, and the best thing ever for a morning, a Kureg coffee maker with a selection of various coffees. The host was amazing, showing us the rooms and describing anything we might need to know. The place is Amazing and I suggest a stay when ever you're in the area.
