Jordon was great to deal with - friendly, trustworthy, and competent. Since we were getting…read moremultiple quotes, it was a week or two before deciding on Copper West (price, reviews from neighbors that had previously used them), and after a slight delay, we received the quote. I requested a change to the underlayment, which Jordon indicated was no problem and verbally let me know what the price difference would be but did take a little bit to get the official updated quote. Materials arrived on time and on schedule (tbh, I was worried that they weren't going to be). Work started promptly on time, and while the crew did work full days, they ran over by about a half day (luckily we weren't in any kind of rush). Workers cleaned up daily and pretty thoroughly at completion. While I do wish there was a little more communication regarding updates to the project, I would definitely use this company again.

I reported that review and for good reason as it's not a reflection on the capabilities of the company in question, merely a scheduling incompatibility but apparently it was already reported by another user and a moderator felt it was okay to leave up. Two thumbs down to Yelp on this one, a little common sense goes a long way. While it won't undo the 1-star, I think if you look at this companies litany of reviews against the bad ones you'll probably find they're a reputable company. Reviewers......Bad reviews in the 1-2 star range should be reserved for bad EXPERIENCES with the companies services directly. Not because they're unable to give you an estimate. Keep in mind the weight these reviews have on company's long term.

We recently hired L&R Roofing Solutions to completely rebuild and waterproof our second-story deck,…read moreand we couldn't be happier with the results. Our deck is more than 40 years old and had multiple layers of coatings applied over the years, yet it continued to leak. Louis took the time to thoroughly inspect the deck, explain our options, and recommend a solution that made sense. We never felt pressured--just well informed. The crew's workmanship was outstanding. They carefully removed the existing railing, cut away old flashing and failed coatings, installed new plywood where needed, added new flashing, applied a new waterproof coating system, and then reinstalled the railing. Throughout the project they were professional, efficient, and extremely courteous. What impressed us most was their attention to detail and communication. The work was completed ahead of schedule, the job site was kept clean, and the finished deck looks beautiful. Most importantly, after our first major storm since the project was completed, we didn't have a single leak. If you're looking for a roofing or waterproofing contractor who is honest, knowledgeable, and stands behind their work, we highly recommend L&R Roofing Solutions. Louis and his team will take great care of you.

My husband and I recently found some mold in our house and suspected the water was coming from the…read moreroof, even thought it was only 12 years old. So after looking around we came across L&R Roofing. We needed an inspection fast and the actual repair done even faster because the Arizona monsoon was about to be in full swing and we were incredibly stressed. Right off the bat during the inspection, Luis was so honest and told us we absolutely did not need an entire new roof and warned us not to let anyone try to sell us one. Nowadays it is so hard to find companies that truly want to help you rather than just make make a sale, so that was such a huge relief and let us know right away that he wasn't going to BS us. He also went above and beyond during that walk-through. Our home inspector had told us we only had one slipped tile, but when Luis got up there, he found a handful of them and just pushed them all back into place for us. Slipped tiles can cause such major issues down the road, so it was incredibly nice of him to do that. It made me feel so good that he was looking out for our whole roof and not just the one spot we asked him to inspect--honestly, he seemed way more aware of what was going on up there than our actual home inspector was! Since the mold was over a bathroom, he gave us a fair price to remove a section of the underlayment and check all the vents in that area, and we were super happy with that plan. Luis unfortunately had a family emergency come up, but he still made sure to coordinate everything with Victor, who managed to get us on the schedule the very day a big storm was supposed to hit. Victor and his crew showed up at 6 AM and were just so nice to work with. He explained the exact damage to us and took pictures of every single step of the process so we could see everything they were doing. It was such a massive weight off our shoulders when he confirmed he found some water damage but it could easily replace the wood and seal it up right then and there. We are so incredibly thankful to everyone who helped us get this done so quickly and we will definitely be keeping them on speed dial for any future roof work!

I want to express my thanks to Danny Clark and the whole team at Arizona's Finest Roofing (AFR)…read more I had sought bids from 5 different local contractors. All of them presented as professional and courteous. But Danny from AFR was different. Each of the other 4 contractors provided me with an estimate to remove and replace our home's roof, but Danny offered a solution. He began by explaining different roofing techniques and showing me various materials. Then being a 3rd generation roofer he came up with a plan best suited for our application. The other roofers simply wanted to shingle over what was already in place. Danny opted to install a roof that had the potential to both insulate and reduce costs. He decided to place shingles on the pitched section of the roof and foam on the flat sections. To me that sounded like a unique way to beat the summer time heat here in Arizona. Now don't get me wrong, this option came at a premium but I am optimistic that once I have the opportunity to compare electrical usage data between this year and last, I am confident I am going to see a difference. And to anyone living through the Arizona summers, any cost savings in electricity is most welcome. I also want to take this opportunity to thank his office manager Tabytha, the site foreman Glen, and the two work crews that did the actual work. All of these folks working together helped the entire job go smoothly. I would also like to mention that once the work was complete, Danny came out to do a QC check to ensure that what was delivered was up to his standard. So in closing I would strongly recommend AFR to anyone in the metro Phoenix area in need of repairs or a brand new roof. I am looking forward to many years of a leak proof roof on our home.

Everytime I asked for something unusual in the photos. They said it is not covered. And kept refering me to someone else to work the issue. I just receive a photo of the finished work and there is a gaping hole right under one of the raffters. They are telling me that is drywall and not covered. It is definitely wood and during the walkthrough (to get an estimate for the roof work) that area was definitely discussed. And we were under the impression that that area was going to get fixed. I just got off the phone with their sale guy (Peter, our point of contact) and their general manager (Nathan) and they refused accepting responsibility for this repair. Shame on them and shame on their quality of their work. The general manager said that we repaired everything on top of the roof. I guess in their definition, the roof stops at the raffters and not extend to the wall of the house. Shame. Shame. Here are a couple of pictures. I let you, the consumer, to decide for yourself if you want to use this company for your roofing problem. I will not recommend them ever.
