As the approach of officially being mid 30s was rapidly approaching I realized that if I didn't finally make a change that it would never happen. I highly recommend John. I was referred to John, by a friend. I used to have a moderate, regular workout regimen for 16 years(2000-2016). Then life happened and I completely fell off the "regular fitness regimen " bandwagon. Fours years and thirty additional pounds later, I was in a very bad place by late 2020. I had also picked up an extremely painful bone spur in my heel. The bone spur was not responding favorably to many months of and many different kinds of interventions. I was deeply anxious and demotivated - the worst I have ever been in my life(I am in my early 50s). It was at this point that John was introduced to me. John offered to do one on one training sessions with me in my home. My family members were opposed to the idea because we had been practicing complete isolation during COVID. I requested John if he would be willing to offer me training sessions on Zoom. John was hesitant to say yes to that option since he was worried about the efficacy of training someone without being able to see their form at close range. I persisted in my request for zoom workout sessions and John agreed to give them a try. I am really grateful that we gave it a try. I have been working out on Zoom with John for the last two months. I have now increased our zoom workout frequency to twice a week. John has created very creative and approachable workout regimens for me that I can do without putting weight on my heel. John is very highly knowledgeable as well as experienced. He understands the body's muscular and skeletal structure very well and hence his without routines and suggestions are effective and safe. I am very grateful that I work out twice a week with John, over Zoom, these days. I still have a long way to go to recover fully, back to my 2016 self. But I am hopeful now. I have started meditating twice a day and working out twice a week. My workout sessions with John have been critical in the start of my recovery. One more thing. John is a great personal trainer that focuses on his clients specific needs. I started seeing John due to having a herniated disc and he curtailed his training regimen specifically for me. Being able to boost my confidence again to lift weights and "hit the gym" has been a big thing for me due to John's detailed training/workout plan. He first started me with several months of core strength training doing workouts that focused of muscles that we utilize on a daily basis then went into heavier load workouts and so forth. The techniques that he taught me wasn't something that you can find in a training book, it was due to his great experience in knowing what muscles needed to be strengthen and he was able to target those muscles with his workouts. It was late summer last year, when I realized a need to start working out. I had never worked out before, just played sports (that too 10 years back).
