Best thing I ate in Houston!!! Tacos and Birria fries had me weak in the knees. Juicy, cheesy , fresh and hot. 10/10. Service was decent.

I had just been chatting…read morewith Gretel about breakfast tacos the day we landed in Houston -- and breakfast tacos are one of my favourite things about visiting Texas. We pulled up to this food truck and, while placing our order, I instantly had the feeling that this crew knew exactly what they were doing. That impression proved to be spot on as soon as I took my first bite. The tacos were fresh, flavorful, and packed with the kind of simple, honest ingredients that make great breakfast tacos so satisfying. No gimmicks, no unnecessary fuss -- just well-executed food that delivers exactly what you're hoping for. The service was efficient, the operation ran smoothly, and it was easy to see why there was a steady stream of customers. Overall, an excellent breakfast taco stop and exactly the kind of local experience I look for when I'm in Houston. Saluti.

Luckily, this spot takes both card and cash! I got the small beef quesadilla, and it was loaded with cheese. The small quesadilla was $5.50, and it was pretty decently sized for a small. They have salsa set out at the counter, so you can pack as much as you like. The red salsa was smoky and SPICY. Very tasty if you like spice I see a lot of great reviews about this place. I would like to try their other tacos and give a more detailed review. I will be back! but for sure the quesadilla was a hit for me

So, there are multiple other locations and also the quality of everything is generic to the chain. Besides for the higher cost of a taco in the area, these tacos were very good. These tacos were juicy and flavorful. I got the quesobirria tacos. They came with 3 tacos and a soup to dip. They also had an open side bar with pickled onions and sauces so don't forget to pick up some of those. Surface was fast. You order at the counter. Then, you pick up at the counter when your order is ready. It makes things quick and easy when I went. There wasn't much of a line, but I can see it getting busy. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. And depending on how nice the weather is having that option is super nice and Houston weather. There is also a parking lot, which makes things very easy. Otherwise, there's a neighborhood in the back where you can just streetside park.

However I was very suprised upon entering to find a very large menu with options you wouldn't typically find in any other texmex or taco cash-grab type restaurant. And I will say the Suadero tacos were very good in quality and genuinely tasted authentic. The tomatillo salsa captured a delicious kind of zest and the tortillas de maíz felt homemade. The aesthetic of the Taco Stand brings modernity to a prized culinary tradition of Mexican street food. And the in-restaurant playlist featured genuine tejano and Mexican classics affirming that La Raza has a hand in it all.

It's in the Museum District/Montrose area, so pretty accessible and with plenty of parking. We got seated immediately, and there was a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating, the latter of which was great even on a humid day. The menu was pretty extensive with your Tex-Mex classics like fajitas and enchiladas, with a special for every day of the week. This time was a free upgrade to a large fajita, so I went with the chicken fajitas! It came out after about 20 minutes with all of the fixings and this very yummy buttery sauce. I haven't had too many fajitas, but I'm pretty confident this is a top spot!

I saw the social media videos of them using real blocked cheese. It was good if you like white cheese queso. There was some tomatoes in there and you can add any meat. The chips were also good they weren't too greasy. Chicken/beef fajitas: This is such a classic dish! The onions on there were really good and had a slight smoky flavor. The beef was good as well and it was cooked to like a medium rare. The chicken was okay it lacked depth.

When I went, it was empty at 8PM with just 2 girls sitting inside waiting for customers to come in. I ordered 3 tacos for myself and chips and queso. They came out with the chips and queso at the same time as the tacos and it was within 10 minutes of me ordering! Super quick. They also gave me 2 bottles of hot sauce, which I loved both because they're just as flavorful as spicy. The tacos were definitely filling and stuffed with meat. I really enjoyed them and would definitely come back. I ordered 4 tacos to-go for my husband to have, 1 al pastor, 1 shrimp pastor, 1 carne asada and 1 chicken fajita. They have a bunch of different drinks which I'll try next time I'm in because they looked good! Price is good as well. I'd save average for what you get.

It would be a much better taco if you started with a dry tortilla, used just a light butter or oil spray, and seared it on both sides until it's crisp before adding the ingredients. On the plus side, the ambience is great. The place is very clean, and I loved the selection of homemade drinks in the refrigerator along the right wall. If they fix the greasy tortillas, this would be a top-tier spot. I ordered a pickup order so I didn't really experience the service.
