I came here on a solo Saturday night looking for dinner and decided to try a new place! I recently moved to the area but I've always driven by this place previously. When I went, it was empty at 8PM with just 2 girls sitting inside waiting for customers to come in. I ordered 3 tacos for myself and chips and queso. They came out with the chips and queso at the same time as the tacos and it was within 10 minutes of me ordering! Super quick. They also gave me 2 bottles of hot sauce, which I loved both because they're just as flavorful as spicy. The tacos were definitely filling and stuffed with meat. I really enjoyed them and would definitely come back. I ordered 4 tacos to-go for my husband to have, 1 al pastor, 1 shrimp pastor, 1 carne asada and 1 chicken fajita. They have a bunch of different drinks which I'll try next time I'm in because they looked good! Price is good as well. I'd save average for what you get. read more

The flavor here is solid, but the excessive grease really missed the mark. The tortilla felt like it was dipped in a heavy oil concoction that could really drive up your cholesterol. It would be a much better taco if you started with a dry tortilla, used just a light butter or oil spray, and seared it on both sides until it's crisp before adding the ingredients. ​On the plus side, the ambience is great. The place is very clean, and I loved the selection of homemade drinks in the refrigerator along the right wall. If they fix the greasy tortillas, this would be a top-tier spot. Fascinating that I have never noticed this place! A taco shop that is open until midnight! Very very clutch. Now I didn't come here at midnight but it was 930pm and most places were closed but through my yelp search I found this place open! Anyway, they have a very large selection of food items to choose from on the menu! The place is small and cute with a full bar plus non alcoholic beverages in the cooler. They even have jarritos if thats your jam! Because it was late I ordered a salad with shrimp Al pastor. I'll try the tacos next time! Um the salad was excellent! So so good. They chopped up the shrimp and laid it across a bed of not iceberg but romaine lettuce and spinach! Come on high quality salad! Also they topped it with tortilla strips. When I tried to address the issue, the manager was rude and refused to provide contact information for a higher-level manager or corporate office so I could file a complaint. As a repeat customer, it's frustrating to consistently receive incorrect orders and be treated dismissively when trying to resolve the problem. This place has been on my bookmarks for a while and we almost didn't go this night but WHOA I'm glad we did. My heart is broken that the days days of amazing authentic tacos for $2 are over, and so many places I've been trying lately aren't the bomb-@$$ tacos I remember growing up that we're ubiquitous to Houston, but these absolutely hit that spot! My only regret was not getting a third. First off, the TORTILLAS. I ordered one flour, one corn, and they messed up and put both flour and I've never been so happy about a mistake. The flour tortillas were absolutely incredible, so fresh, and had that texture that hits all those juxtaposed pleasure spots in your brain. Soft, almost doughy, but still chewy, and it held up well. Those descriptions don't even sound great but ung, it just is. Okay, maybe I should touch on the other food. The traditional pastor was my favorite, and it was so good I didn't eat it with salsa (VERY unlike me). The carne asada was very tasty as was the barbacoa, but the baracho beans were just alright because they were way too peppery. The red salsa was also strangely peppery but the green salsa was stellar. The guac and chips were also incredibly fresh. read more

The service was quick and friendly, and the restaurant itself is adorable -- bright, cozy, and has that "hole-in-the-wall" charm I really like. That said, the food felt a bit underwhelming for the price. The tacos were very basic and on the smaller side, especially at $4.50 each. The breakfast beef barbacoa taco was mostly egg with very little beef, and the chicken fajita taco was decent with onion and cilantro, but neither came with salsa or much filling. I think adding a little more filling or including salsas on the side would make the tacos feel more worth the price and bring out more flavor. Overall, it was fine, but for the price, I'd probably try a food truck next time for authentic tacos. read more

We went for breakfast and had a couple chorizo and eggs and barbacoa and eggs tacos. The eggs dominated the protein and it was dripping grease. But they tasted ok. We also got a tres leches. They overcharged us $8 instead of $5.99 as printed on their menu. When I showed them this we just got the shoulder shrug and told the menu needs to be updated. Good restaurants either refund the difference to correct the error o if they're a really good restaurant they'd apologize profusely and comp you for the entire dish. I got neither. And I actually think it's unfair because I wouldn't pay $8 for a piece of cake preboxed and sitting in the soda fridge. It definitely didn't taste that good. read more

I shared a chicken tostada, which was really good, plenty of queso, needed more chicken. The carne asada torta was excellent! I never had a torta before. The meat was flavorful, the bread was soft, A 10/10. The fried pork skin with guacamole was also good. I recommend this place for lunch, after the club, or a weekend treat! read more

Unfortunately, I have to rescind my previous positive review. I decided to give this spot another go and it majorly disappointed. The tortilla was super greasy to the point of sogginess. The burrito was rolled so loosely that it fell apart almost immediately. Finally, they screwed up my order -- I asked for tator tots (which shows up on the receipt) but they made it with rice. Bummed since I thought I found my go-to burrito joint but it looks like the search continues. read more

I came across this little taco shop one late night. I went inside to order to go. As I waited for my order of al pastor tacos, the bartender/server created a cucumber margarita. The margarita was refreshing and perfectly balanced!! The Tajín around the rim was her special touch, and it was delicious. The tacos were semi flavorful. I've had better authentic tacos. Little Taco Shop is truly that, but packs such a huge punch! I stopped by around 6 pm on a Thursday for a quick burrito, but ended up experiencing happy hour! LTS now offers house made margaritas that are canned and available during happy hour for $6 a piece. I highly recommend the street styled tacos, burritos with carne asada or their salsa. It is the most unique and authentic salsa I have ever tried. I think I have found my new mid week pick me up! Staff is so nice and friendly and patient. Ight so boom, check it: this was a day or two after Hurricane Beryl came through town. It was late, I was hungry, and I didn't have anything at the crib that I felt like eating. So I drove around for a little bit. Most places were super crowded, and another spot I tried to go to was mad expensive. So I was about to go somewhere else, and this place popped up! I had never seen it there before (has to be new right?), but Google Maps said it was open, and I didn't see anyone else in there, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I walked in, and the lady that took my order was super nice. I ordered a carne asada burrito, which came with rice, beans, tater tots (I was thrown off by this, but very intrigued at the same time), avocado, and I asked for sour cream. For my drink, I got a Mexican Coke because they are elite! It took about 10ish minutes to get my order, but it was all done fresh. I got home and ate it, and it tasted great! All the flavors worked well together, and the salsas they provided me gave it that extra kick. I'm so glad I found this place open late, and I definitely will go back soon! Probably one of the best tacos in houston especially the house made fresh flour tortillas they make. Guacamole is one of my favorite side item and Little Taco Shop is one of the best has a nice cream taste and a nice spicy kick also for the people that like that spicy taste. Perfect spot for a quick bite. They are open from 8AM-12AM so they get a star. The food leaned more on the American side vs authentic Mexican. I don't believe they are marketed as authentic but just something to keep in mind. I would return if it was late night and my other favorite taco spots were closed. read more

I was searching for a good breakfast. Made to order breakfast tacos - delicious. Just what I was looking for!

We tried this place for Father's Day Not very many people there at all‍but it was a quite little place just like the name very little place so don't blink you will miss it! We did :) You get your own water find a seat then go order or drink. Not a big selection which was good but everything is a la cart so don't forget the rice and beans by the way the beans were GREAT! Nothing really great to look at simple place but were there for family time. The ladies working really didn't bother us once.‍ I think they should have just checked to see if we enjoyed the food or something!
