They told us we needed to purchase a part that cost hundreds of dollars and we had to wait weeks…read morefor it to come in. They put the new part in and our refrigerator went out within 9 months. We called them and left messages for services again because their repair job included a one year warranty and we had paid over a grand for repairs. They never returned our calls. Called another appliance repair company in south suburban Illinois and they said the guy put in the wrong part that we didn't need, instead of repairing a leaking seal and replacing freon. This company is a RIP OFF!!!

Wish I would have looked here first, would have saved a lot of money, headaches and time off work…read more They got me for $800 before I realized they were a scam. My whirlpool refrigerator was not dispensing ice or water. We paid the service fee, they blamed my R/O system. We called our R/O company, paid an other service fee and they said everything was fine. Get appliance pro back and this time they say it the control board. Another $700. Ordered it, came back to install and was here 2 hours trying to get it to work. The tech said he had to reprogram/rewire the new board in order for it to work. Mind you, 3rd visit here as well as the R/O company = 4 days off work. All of a sudden, it quits making ice. Call them back and the same tech says the dispenser was frozen because he had the door open too long when he was here... ok sure. 3 weeks later, no ice again. Come back today, visit 5, and tells us the fill tube heater is out and it will cost $2210.98 to repair. Serious??? That's $3000. They really must have mistaken our kidnesss as naïveté. Tech then has the nerve to tell me that is probably what caused the board to go bad, (even though it was still making ice before the board was replaced). Why wasn't this discovered during the diagnostic we paid for?? No ice issues before the control board and the tech's rigging of it to make it work. That's most likely what caused the short, Shame on you for trying to get us to pay for your techs incompetence. Scam business! Avoid them at all costs!!

The delivery process went great - The gentleman from the apparent outside contracted delivery service were kind and careful. After installation it was found that Maruszczak Appliance did not include/forgot the refrigerators filter, which comes standard with purchase. As a result the delivered refrigerator screen is showing red error messages along with no running water/ice As the filter is needed for said function. Purchase was made on a Thursday, delivered on Saturday morning. Gentleman who installed said they would reach out and have a representative deliver the filter same day. After doing my own due diligence after not hearing any follow up, I called in and spoke With a Maruszczak representative, who offered no apology. Simply stated that I myself could make the drive to pick Up the filter today or would have to wait until Monday for someone to be able to drop one off. Perhaps I expected too much, but when you pay in full for an appliance along with a delivery and install fee, don't you expect to receive said appliance in its full working condition? I simply asked if I took the time to make the trip up today, could a spare filter then be included -"Nope." We love the fridge, but The reality is we will be looking at red error messages and no water/ice feature for the duration of the weekend because The company we purchased through failed to assure it was installed or present prior to its delivery preparation.

The staff was extremely rude and confrontational. The appliances are sky-high expensive. You can…read moreget the same stuff online or a big box store for a fraction of the cost. Neither me, my extended family or close friends will ever shop there again. I do not recommend this place whatsoever.

We had great experience coordinating with FUSE to repair the ice maker on our Viking refrigerator…read more They were very responsive to my initial request for a quote, including a call from a supervisor to hear more about the issue and try to issue a more informed estimate. (Ultimately unsuccessful, but I appreciated the effort.) The technician, Bek, was on time, courteous, and very open about explaining everything he inspected. In just under an hour, he was able to diagnose the problem and replace our ice maker, which he had on hand. One small critique-- it caught me a little off guard to see a tip option on screen when making my payment, but in this case I obliged, considering how well the whole appointment went. I guess that's just tipping culture these days! ‍

Vlad, the…read moretechnician, found out that he needed to order an additional part to fix it and would need to make an additional trip. I assumed he would charge for the follow-up visit, but there were no additional charges; I really appreciated his honesty. Recently, I had a text dialog with Russ and found out that Fuse service's HVAC systems as well. I agreed to an annual maintenance plan, but didn't plan on having them out until fall. A few weeks later, while I was out of town in July, I got a message from my Ecobee thermostat indicating that the A/C wasn't working. I texted Russ about this and he showed up after 6PM on a Saturday, the same day I texted him about the issue! He figured out what was wrong right away and just folded the service call into my annual service plan which was, as before with the dishwasher, very generous and much appreciated. I'm literally excited to have Fuse Service as my go to place for appliance repair and HVAC maintenance. I'm used to businesses asking me to write positive Yelp reviews and I don't mind that. But, Fuse did not ask me to write my review.
