    Linguine jambalaya

People working here are always friendly and kind! I don't drink but I come here for food because they have great stuff on the menu. So far I have tried their appetizer Brussels sprouts and linguine jambalaya. Brussels sprouts are so delicious - it comes with savory sauce and nuts sprinkled on top. It is a generous amount too. Pasta was also great. It came with several big shrimps and sausages. I didn't what expect with jambalaya that's a pasta dish, but I loved it. I'll go back to try other menu items because I'm sure others will be good too.

After such a long day, from traveling to Florida from Virginia, starting at oh dark 30, it was time for a nightcap. Fortunately the Hilton where we are staying has John T's Bar and restaurant. The bartenders were both busy but they still took the time to greet us as they were making drinks for other customers. Once they had a second, they took our orders and our drinks magically arrived, almost immediately. Great place to grab a drink or a bite to eat, very enjoyable experience.

This is such a great lounge! I frequent this area for business and pleasure. The Hilton where this bar is located is one of my regular places to stay. The bar can get pretty busy at times due to hosting conferences now and then but they handle it perfectly. I have to hand it to Juan, Rachael, Caroline, Jose, and Jackie. They always remember my drink from previous visits and greet me with a smile. Most recently I was offered an excellent suggestion which was delicious. The personality and friendly service is what keeps me coming back.

Located in the Hilton Disney Springs hotel. They have a full bar, and food such as margarita pizza, roasted Brussel sprouts, chicken nachos.... oh wait.... I included a photo of the menu! I personally had the margarita pizza. Let me just tell you, it is was larger than an appetizer. Great size for the money too. Definitely a sharing type appetizer, or a "I am starving and going to swallow everything whole" type of choice. The table ordered Brussel sprouts. I tried one, tasted good. A little heaving on the salt, however still edible and delicious. Again, it is a large order and most definitely sharable. The Cod fish and chips comes with one large piece of Cod. The fried chicken came with quite a bit of chicken with fries. I was told it was good. The lighting is dim, so if you had a long day, it's perfect. They have tables, a lounge area and a long bar with high top tables around too. The team is friendly and runs efficiently. One star docked for selfish reasons... it doesn't open for lunch and the other restaurant in the hotel has an extremely limited menu for those that do not eat meat. Wish they had a lunch crew. I would come back to this lounge if I were to stay in the hotel again. PS the juke Box in the corner does work! Looks dark as if it won't but someone fired it up to belt out some Tunes! Enjoy!!!

John T.'s is a great little bar/lounge inside the Hilton Lake Buena Vista. It is on the ground floor on the right side by the conference and ball rooms. They have a great menu with lots of items to choose from. They also have an extensive drink menu that is not horribly overpriced considering you are in a Disney area hotel. I had the watermelon margarita a couple times over two days. Each time it was very good. They also give out a great pub mix on the table, fresh for each new seating. It was delicious and had pecans and other nuts with crackers. Definitely better than straight pretzels and peanuts. After a dinner at the hotel in a ballroom, we decided to get dinner. The dinner in our event was horribly dreadful and was almost like playing a game of guess the protein, guess the dessert. Luckily, John T.'s fish and chips were wonderful! It was fresh, hot and was a portion large enough for two of us to share. I would highly recommend John T.'s if you are looking for an edible second meal if you have just attended an event at the Hilton because odds are the food was horrific! John T.'s is great! The service was great, the servers were very nice and attentive. I was so happy to have this little gem.

I came here during my visit to Orlando, as it is conveniently located in the Hilton lobby. This would be a nice place to catch up with a friend or meet with some clients, but it does get pretty packed/loud when there is an event or convention going on. There is a bar up front as well as tables and flat screen tv's located around the bar http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/john-ts-lounge-lake-buena-vista?select=QCYjZzCItiBB-wo92mIZkw#bxhl_NGlg3GRX-ZaWgF6MA). I ordered a Hennessy & Coke, and an Old Fashion. Both drinks were decent but the old fashion tasted a little too sweet (not very strong). (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/john-ts-lounge-lake-buena-vista?select=QCYjZzCItiBB-wo92mIZkw#a4Zi86W2SGrDoMd5yseIfQ) I highly recommend the fried pickles. This places uses crunchy dill pickle spears that are fried perfectly! The batter stays on the pickle and the pickle itself is piping hot, yet stays crunchy. This would be good for a few people to share. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/john-ts-lounge-lake-buena-vista?select=QCYjZzCItiBB-wo92mIZkw#NUsyGNnj_6Z87dQkYUkNaw)

    Happy hour

The pepperoni flatbread was good enough we order one with their happy hour special and decided to get a second. Imagine our surprise when the bill had 2 full priced flatbreads on there, 17.50 ea. told the waiter and he said that's during happy hour, yes that's when we ordered them!! Then he took our bill came back with a 4.50 discount....WHAT!! So said again it would be two for 17.50 not two for 31.00 so then some other guy came out, guessing it's the manager and he says that pepperoni is two dollars extra and apparently that two dollars does not qualify for the half off. So that would be an extra 4 dollars right?! (Which is still not stated anywhere on the menu!!) so even if that was the case it would be charged as 21.50 and not the 31.50 that was charged!! Pay attention to your bill people!! The manager just wanted to argue about it so sorry to the waiter who rang it in wrong but there's your tip!! You argue for it!!

Sad tomato in Caesar salad. Steamed? Wrinkled? Or perhaps...sundried?!

Wonderful drinks and atmosphere. I enjoyed trying the local beers they had available and the live music made the experience even better.

The service is efficient, the food and drink specials for Happy Hour from 5-8pm are excellent and you can easily walk to your event. The Lounge is relaxed and not crowded as other locations in this area, especially before a performance or a Magic game. (Both were going on the night we stopped in.) Last year, Yelp held its annual award event here. I ended up meeting a couple that was in the lounge area that were going to Dr. Phillips later that night. We struck up a conversation-they asked what this big Yelp group was about, and I provided the details. They said they always come to the WXYZ Lounge before a performance arts event as this place is not crowded and the food is quite good. I remembered this conversation when a friend and I attended a recent event at Dr. Phillips. As luck would have it, Woody and Kim were in the Lounge when we walked in Friday night! I introduced them to my guest and thanked them for their recommendation. We then went to sit at the bar. First off, LeBeth was our main bartender, and she was excellent. We remembered each other from the Yelp event. We ordered two of the featured cocktails, Waterloo Rose Pedals (gin) and Svedka String Winder (vodka). My friend asked if the vodka drink was sweet and LaBeth stated she could add more lemon to her cocktail to counterbalance the sweetness. Both drinks were excellent, and although I liked my gin drink, I switched to the vodka drink for my second one after I had a taste of my friend's drink. A shout-out also to the "bartender in training", Jeffrey, who assisted us. The food was also amazing. We first ordered from the Small Bites menu. The Buffalo Cauliflower floret bites were lightly breaded and soft, with Bleu Cheese crumbles, and the buffalo dressing was provided on the side. Very tasty! The Veggie Eggrolls with the sweet Red Chili sauce was also a big hit. We then added a Chicken Caesar salad and the Fish Tacos from the Big Bites menu to also share. The salad was a good size, served in a large round, flat bowl, with the Caesar dressing on the side. The Fish Tacos were very FULL tacos, and the combination of the spicy sauce and the sweet and tangy coleslaw complimented each other well. We both agreed these were some of the best fish tacos we have tasted! Overall, a great place to stop in for Happy Hour and it is THE PERFECT stop before an event at the Dr. Phillips Performance Center.

Went for brunch on Sunday after finding out this cute spot was so close to me!…read more Upon first entering this place is really lit up inside with so many booths/seating making it a great place for partying!! From what I heard, at 10pm it becomes a club. For brunch, they sat us outside in the back, which was also spacious, with tons of booth, colorful umbrellas, and other smaller tables. There was a live dj, hookah, cute photo ops, and more making it a great brunch place! My friends and I opted for the $50 brunch combo which included mimosas or sangria, an entree, and a dessert (2 hr limit). They have a great menu and if you decide to not do the combo they have pitchers, cocktails, and other great yummy food like sushi! Every item has its own Euphoria twist and I loved the playful names each item was given! I had the chicken and waffles (opted for no cheese) and it was delicious! For mimosas you can pick between orange, passion fruit, and mango; sadly no mango that day, but the passionfruit was so good! Now, my biggest complain was the order/food service. Our server was super kind, but we did get our food items mixed up various times causing some people in my party to wait an hour or more until they got their food, at that point everyone at different times and it really took away from the experience. The mimosas took a good 20+ minutes to be brought to our table and even then once everyone ordered it took even longer to get enough glasses for everyone. Overall, the food was delicious, but I wasn't pleased with the lack of organization/timing! Would definitely come back, maybe to check them out at night as I've heard it gets pretty lit!
