Unfortunately, there seems to be a lot of staff turnover here, including management, and it's starting to show in the consistency of service. It's become pretty common for requests to get missed or orders to come out incorrectly. During our most recent visit, our server seemed overwhelmed or forgetful. Our order had a few issues, and we had to ask multiple times for sauces that were still forgotten. We also didn't receive drink refills, even though we were there for a while. We really want to keep supporting this location since it's convenient and we've had good experiences in the past, but the service has been inconsistent lately. Hoping things improve soon. read more

Lots and lots of TV screens which made it the perfect place to catch a game, some food, and a few drinks. Service was fast and friendly. Tried the Mozeralla sticks, a classic burger and fries, and the shrimp platter. All of the food was cooked well and tasted fresh. My Brazilian brother-in-law has been talking about this great American grill/steakhouse called Miller's and he's been in disbelief that we have never tried it so of course we had to change that. We were in town for the GKTW Village 5K tonight and decided to get some lunch here before our event. It is conveniently located on route 535 and seems to be a popular lunch spot. They have plenty of tvs so we were able to see some of the college football games as well. We decided to go with three appetizers for lunch. We started with the spinach artichoke dip. The dip was great and we really appreciated the warm tortilla chips. Next we had the pan fried pork dumplings. They were also good and so was the dipping sauce that came with them. I heard of understaffed kitchens but the wait time was ridiculous. I ordered Mimi's fiesta bowl which was basically chicken on a salad. It came out cold so I had to deduct an additional point. This is clearly a busy location. I got out of a meeting early and arrived about 4:45 PM, and it was pretty busy. It cleared out a bit around 5:15 PM, but by 6:00 PM, they were filled up. People were waiting for tables, and both bars looked like there weren't a lot of seats left. They have a small, but reasonably diverse selection of beers on draft. I'm not sure I'd call what they had listed as craft beer as craft beer (such as Sam Adams and Goose Island), but they have options other than Coors and Michelob. I hadn't eaten since 6 am, so I got some mozzarella sticks off the bat. I though they good, but then again, I have been traveling and in meeting and hadn't eaten all day. I also ordered their chicken tender salad. Can't remember the exact name they gave it, but the produce was very fresh, although I think they skimped on the hot sauce and dressing. Back for my annual visit to see my brother in Florida where as we do every year, we have to stop at Millers Ale House and have a Lunch here when we are done visiting some of the local attractions. This place is really quite a gem in my opinion where the food is quite good and they have great lunch specials that are hard to beat. On this most recent visit we had the lunch Fish and Chips for $7.99 that included three pieces of cod and a side of fries. The fish was well cooked and tasty and the fries were crunchy and equally tasty. The value equation here is remarkable in today's inflated times especially considering the quality of the food and the portion size. If you are in this area you should definately check this business out and if you are value conscious like I am and/or a retiree on a fixed income than this place is a no brainer! read more

Unfortunately, that changes completely when Louis Vasquez is managing. He has a poor attitude and lacks basic customer service skills. When he's on duty, the atmosphere drops noticeably, and even his employees seem uncomfortable or unhappy around him. The nights he's not there are always more positive and energetic. I asked why he kept lowering the jukebox volume after customers paid to play music, and his only response was, "We're not a club." When I later asked what days he works so I could avoid those times, he rudely said, "You shouldn't come back -- my days off vary." That kind of attitude toward paying customers is unacceptable. Ale house has always been a vibe when you have family in town or just want to come in for a couple drinks and food. This location seemed pretty busy given it was located on 535. This one seems to be the popular tourist spot since it was pretty busy for a Thursday night! My girlfriend and I went for some early dinner and service was a bit slow and took us a while to get our order and pay , but for the most part it was enjoyable and nice. We both ordered the sweet Thai chili zingers which were amazing and tasted great with the ranch and blue cheese , but it was a bit on the colder side. Our bartender was nice and helped us out as quick as she can, but I think they needed a bit more Support since the whole area was packed. Saw The Ale House while driving around the Mouse House and decided I'll stop in for dinner one evening. I hadn't been to an Ale House since a demolition crew eliminated my old hang out in North Miami Beach. Well, once I was finally seated, I looked at the menu and everything seems the same. Old favorites like Wings, Zingers and Fried Jalapeños. I decided to start with the fried calamari, it was lackluster at best. Very greasy and the breading kept falling off. I ordered the Pork Osso Bucco with the Garlic Broccoli and Mashed Potatoes. When my food arrived my Mashed Potatoes were cold and the Broccoli was not very hot but I guess you can't have everything. I asked for more potatoes and this time they were a little warmer. I need more gravy because I only received a 2oz soufflé cup of that gravy. The Garlic Broccoli was good and not over cooked. The Osso Bucco was very, very good! The crispy exterior is slightly deceptive of the tender succulent pork inside. I enjoyed the Osso Bucco; I would have enjoyed it more it they provided more sauce/gravy with the entrée. I'd forgotten about how nice The Ale House could be.
