Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing experiences I've had at a Miller's Ale House. I've visited other Ale House locations over the years, and this one fell far below the standard I normally expect. The food was disappointing across the board. My Mountain Melt arrived visibly burnt and tasted burnt as well. My dad's flatbread was pale, undercooked, and unappetizing, while the pasta was watery and lacked flavor. It felt like the dishes were sent out without anyone checking the quality first. The service made the experience even more frustrating. We repeatedly had to ask for the same basic items, and I eventually had to walk to the bar twice just to get drink refills. A manager saw me standing there waiting but never stopped to ask whether I needed help. Our server was also training another employee, but the trainee mostly observed rather than assisting. I understand that training has to happen, especially when a restaurant is short-staffed, but it should not come at the expense of the guest experience. The bill was also incorrect, with extra charges for salads and sides. My dad, who is a veteran and was paying for the meal, also did not receive the expected military discount. Instead, only $0.50 was removed from a bill totaling nearly $80, which added to the frustration. The atmosphere was the same as nearly every other Miller's Ale House: a casual sports-bar setting with plenty of TVs, familiar décor, and a lively layout. It was fine, but nothing about this location's ambiance stood out enough to make up for the poor food, inattentive service, and billing issues. This location would benefit from better kitchen quality control, more attentive service, and greater accuracy when preparing checks. Hopefully it has improved since my visit, but based on this experience, I would choose another Miller's Ale House location instead. read more

7 years ago, I came here and gave this five stars. I eat at Miller's closer to my house but wanted something familiar while I was in the area. I came here 05/17 talked to the hostess and asked her if the outside patio was open, she told me it was just seat myself. I asked because when I went out there, there was no one there. I told her I would be right back, but I would be sitting outside. She acknowledged that. I came in, sat up against the sliding door so that I could be seen. There was no bartender or server that was there for my entire seven minutes I was out there. I ultimately ended up leaving before anyone could come to me. The review is on the lack of attention to detail, as I told them I was sitting outside and sat right in the way so that ANY server would see me. All I can say is this does not run like other Miller's. read more

Food = good. Service = disappointing. I've been going to the ale house for decades, and this visit just left me blah. The food was delicious as always. I had the chicken and shrimp Cobb salad, and there was none left over. My disappointment was with my server. We sat at the table for about five minutes before being greeted. When we were greeted, she took our drink order and then disappeared for 10 minutes. Finally the drinks got dropped off and then she disappeared again for about 10 minutes. Finally our food was ordered and delivered, great. I asked for a bit more salad dressing and it took three different asks to three different people to finally get it. Really? Came to this location on a Friday night around 6. The place wasn't packed. There were many seats available around the inside bar and some outside. There was some table seating available. As time went by it started to get full around 8:30. I had a new special merry berry margarita $8.99. It was sweet. Then I had a beer $5.99 16oz. Between Kevin we shared a zinger melt for two $25. Our server was so nice and attentive which was very much appreciated. We had a good experience at this location today. Diego, our server was very prompt, friendly, and professional with his service cadence. The meatloaf and salmon were good, and the cob salad was ginormous and tasty as well. The full baby rack of ribs was a bit dry, not very meaty at each portion; but, still OK. I think I would recommend getting the full rack on the day of its feature on the lunch daily special, which will be cheaper; but, which will assure you that they are cranking them out specifically for that day. We were looking for something different for dinner and this came up on a Google search. Despite showing up on a busy night our wait time was minimal and our service was fantastic. I hate that I forgot her name, but our waitress was friendly, funny, and had great recommendations. The atmosphere was quite lively and sports played all around us on the tvs. They had a prime rib special the night we were there, so I gave it a try. It was pretty flavorful and quite filling. My mother got an entree salad that was absolutely humongous so I was pleased when she offered to share that with me. I had a prickly pear margarita as well. It was served in a shaker and was a little over 2 glasses worth. As pass holders to Universal we are always looking for our next opportunity to visit the area and I have a feeling this place will find its way in our rotation when we are back in town! read more

Worst take out order ever (through Door Dash). Ordered hot garlic Zingers with extra Hot sauce on the side. Got Zingers with hardly any sauce and no extra sauce on the side even though I was charged for it and the saddest celery ever. Also ordered a side Caesar salad that is one of the smallest, saddest salads I have ever seen. Also ordered a loaded baked potato with butter and sour cream. I was staying in a nearby hotel in Orlando, and stopped by Miller's Ale House. Their selection of draft beers was epic! I sat at the bar since I was dining alone, and the bartenders took good care of me. I ordered the new Mimi's Fiesta Chicken and Shrimp bowl and it was delicious. Exactly what you would want in a protein bowl with a kick. I was there amid the mid-afternoon crowd, and it was busy enough without being too much. I came for lunch two days in a row and got the same thing both times. The $8 soup (French onion) and salad (Caesar). The first day the food tasted better. I didn't like the house margarita because I could taste the syrup in it. I like them with fresh squeezed lime. Also, the salt kept sliding down the glass, so it got sticky. Diego was my server. Mozzarella sticks were fine but my husband's meal was overcooked and my Mac and cheese wasn't nearly as good as I remember from the Miller's closer to home.. Ordered a pitcher of Tito's Strawberry Lemonade and it was made pretty weak, I've felt the effects of a single mix drink at other locations much more than a full pitcher here, which seems crazy to me. Combination of blackened shrimp and grilled chicken was a win-win for $16. The dish came out and looked great. My friend mix the ingredients together while I kept them separate and enjoyed every little bit. Definitely worth the order! Service was quick and great. This location used be one of my haunts when I was a young CP. They used to have drink specials & service industry nights all the time, not so much any more. This place is good for what it is - a sports bar. We were a VERY large group, celebrating a retirement. This place is great for big groups and the service was amazing! Our server was like greased lightning and gave us wonderful, individual attention. Their menu is very stereotypical, and as a vegetarian, there is really not much on here for me. Do I recommend? Today we had Lunch at Miller's Ale House located at 12371 Winter Garden Vineland Road in the heart of Orlando. We sat at the bar and we were immediately greeted by the bartender as she took our drink orders. I told her that it was our first time here and she placed a red napkin in front of us (more on that in a minute.) As our drinks came out, the General Manager came over to introduce himself and he said that if we had any questions or issues to please let him know right away. He said that the red napkin was to alert him that a new customer was in the house, what a great idea! I've never heard of that but I felt like a VIP and it made us feel great, after being so warmly welcomed. My Wife ordered the chimichurri steak salad. The steak was cooked perfectly and she enjoyed it very much. The ingredients were fresh and they were delicious. I had the English Style Fish and Chips. The fish was fried to perfection and the fries were hot, crispy and delicious, just like you would expect them to be. We really enjoyed this great restaurant and I highly recommend checking it out. read more
