The filets were good size and nicely grilled with a bit of blackening seasoning. The meal came with a single trip to the salad bar and a side. The salad bar has several options of pasta salads, chopped lettuce with toppings, and a sweet slaw. We chose the blackened new potatoes as our other side. We thought that they were really good. Bread options included: hush puppies, cheese, bread, or yeast rolls. The hush puppies were a little overdone. So we were able to get an order of the cheese bread. Which is large yeast rolls with cheddar cheese, baked in the top. They were really good. The servers are friendly and never seemed to stop moving. The seating is basic older restaurant booths and tables which are comfortable. They offer interesting sayings at each table such as... "I'm not saying it's your fault. I said I'm blaming you." When paying for the meal, there was no discount offered for the tough meat on the plate. The eggs on the plate were also kind of over cooked and brown and crispy around the edges.
