He did not guarantee his work even though he stated on a call that it has a "standard 2 year warranty is the law for Arizona repairs". I dont know if that law is true but overall dont say it if you do plan on keeping that word or backing up your work. The work he did, didnt even last a year. He gave unprofessional advise towards my family and stated "you're on the fast track to getting this house condemned and your inheritance evaporated" --off of work he did by the way!! Johnathan made the deprecated HVAC vents in my historic home disappear, no trace of their former existence. He hung the sheetrock in a new art studio built in my backyard. Despite the less-than-perfect framing (by me), the interior walls are perfect; nary a ripple or a waggle. Johnathan applied stain to my cedar-clad garage and art studio, a somewhat tricky process; the result was perfection. Johnathan also painted the 100-year-old brick exterior and wooden eaves of my house. There were layers of old peeling paint dangling from the eaves. He meticulously scrapped and patched that mess, and the result is spectacular. Every penny spent with Can Build was worth it. No matter the task, I would not hesitate to hire Can Build.

The roof so far looks good but I'm waiting for the rains. This company starts off strong but once they have your business that's when the lack of communication starts. They were billing my insurance so much that I had to sit and go over everything they had itemized. One was for skylights I don't even have. And when it came to the insurance, I felt like I was doing most the work having to be the go between and try to get their checks. This roof is probably one of the most expensive roofs after it was all said and done for being just shingles. I've not heard from the sales rep in probably 3 months but get a call from their manager the other day pretty much accusing me of not completely paying, when I try to arrange pick up of the remaining balance several times. The roofing crew left nails a debris all over my yard and I'm still cleaning up. My opinion, if you use them. Document everything. I did on this one and feel like it's really going to be important I did.

The next time it rained, there was another leak near our front door. They came back and fixed the problem with no charge. It's been fine ever since. Good price and fast and reliable work. If we have any more problems, they will top our list of who to call. And they even did something unrelated to the roof. Being a little older, we were unable to get up a ladder and replace some florescent lighting. He only charged us for parts and replaced the lights. Service beyond expectations!!

He rescheduled twice, then showed up at 7:00PM the day he was supposed to do the job. He showed up with his girlfriend and his 20 year old economy car with the trunk stuffed full of tools. He is not personable at all and I suspect may have a few "issues." I let him do his thing because I had a tenant ready to move in. When I arrived the next day it looked like a 3rd grader finger painted the sink and tub then threw sand in it. Shawn stated that he could't control the dirt that blew out from under the sink faucet when he sprayed. Well, that was his first shot at insulting my intelligence. Yes you can, you blow it out with a blow nozzle first. After promising to fix it and sand and buff the tub he made it look "OK." However, before re-caulking and replacing the drains he insisted to be paid. I told him to finish the job! He did what he needed to do and I was glad to get rid of him and not have to deal with this crackhead. Well, 10 months later and the sink is cracking out and 3/4 of the tub finish has peeled off and my tenants have to keep their kids from eating the acrylic chips when they bathe them! I attempted to contact Shawn several times and no response. I am hiring a different company to fix his mess. The only way Davis Brothers obtained a a 5.0 rating is obviously through fraud.
