They turned up on time every day, the team are very respectful and cleaned and vacuumed every day. While they were working I pointed out a couple of areas I had concerns about and they stopped what they were doing, listened to my concerns and fixed the issue to ensure I was completely happy. Other examples that blew me away; they sanded and repaired all the shelves in the closets, I was not expecting this. They removed large hanging mirrors in the primary bathroom and repaired the walls and repainted those even though no one would ever see them, the team really goes above and beyond. My experience with Johnny George Painting in three words: attention to detail Johnny was hired to paint my sister's house a few years ago, and it still looks great. When it came time to paint my own, he was the first phone call. The time spent on prep work alone was enough to convince me that I made the right decision. Siding with flaking paint was sanded down, seams and gaps were filled and/or caulked as needed. The crew even ground off nail ends that were poking through the eaves from when the roof was installed. A solid foundation led to great results. All sanded areas were primed before applying two coats of Kelly Moore paint. The workers were not phased by needing to spend a lot of time up on ladders, and took the time to do the job right. My wife and I are VERY pleased with how everything turned out. read more

Johnny and his crew did our home exterior painting last year. The work was timely and thorough, and the final result looked great. Johnny was very professional, but not the easiest person to communicate with, and it was generally hard to reach him by phone. We had some issues that needed correction, such as bubbling and touch up in a few places, and it took about six calls over a two week period to get a call back, but then he did schedule a time and came over and fixed the issues. I asked him what might have caused the bubbling and he said he didn't know, We've had a small amount of additional bubbling since then, which I am planning to fix myself. These issues were not that bad so I still recommend him as the work was sound overall. read more

I didn't hire him because he wouldn't give a guarantee after the work of the first contractor, so I hired one who gave me a five year guarantee, Diamond Certified, Angie's List, BBB, 25 yrs.....J&J Final Coat Painting. Johnny was gracious enough to come back, even though I hadn't hired him, after hearing of my problems with a second contractor for another nine months. He gave me an objective opinion from what he could SEE, so I could focus on the observable problems to get them fixed before the rainy season. Both times Johnny George was at my home, he was real no-nonsense, focused on the job, never bashing other contractors or boasting of himself, and serious about focusing on the job. The work crew did some repair job in my master bedroom over 2 days. Aside from the 2 employees, the owner Johnny George himself came to help with some work. I have no problems with the job that was done. But on the second day, someone used the master bathroom to pee without asking me. I have several strong evidences to support this, and I strongly believe it was Johnny George himself. I think the employees would not dare do this because I think it's part of the rules for the repair crew not to use the homeowner's bathroom without asking, let alone the master bathroom. I think Johnny George did it because being the owner, he thought he could get away with it. I hate that this happened because I had to clean the floor and the toilet. It's been about 2 months now and I have wiped the flush several times with bleach and alcohol, but I still don't want to touch the flush directly without using toilet paper because I am extremely germophobic. Next time some repair crew work on my house, I am going to lock the doors to the toilet rooms. read more
