Came here for lunch hour, the place wasn't packed, plenty of seating. Some of the booths have a ripped cushion so beware of that. The Route 66 burger was good, it is a greasy fast food burger, however it is small. The portion of fries was very small. The shake was very delicious. This place was okay. I always bring my family here we love it!!! But tonight's visit was kinda a let down, it's a Tuesday night and it's not packed but it's not totally busy either.....they only had one cook and what seemed to be only one waiter (but they had two waiters) one was helping the cook and always managing his tables... it wasn't a bad visit but it wasn't the best visit I've had. I feel that they go through a lot of staff because so far every time I come they have new faces,I get it being new is not great. The place has the 1950's style and a jukebox at every table. I enjoyed listening to all the 1950's songs. I ordered two burgers and they came with one side choice, either salad or fries. I upgraded the fries to loaded style and got a salad. The patty was juicy and the bun was warm/buttery. I liked how the food was cooked after they received the orders. My boyfriend took me here for the first time yesterday. The entire experience was awful. We walked in and there was just a bad vibe. There was no good ambiance feel. The server took over 15 minutes to bring us two waters and one milkshake. The milkshake was super watery. We saw our server make it and then walk away instead of bringing it to us. The water cups were dirty with dried ketchup. We then ordered our food, I ordered a Philly and my boyfriend ordered a burger. Food took almost 30 minutes to come out. We noticed the cooks had put our food up to be served and the server walked by the plates four times before she brought the food over. My Philly and my boyfriend's fries were ice cold. We told the server to send my Philly back and the manager came up to us. He was just as clueless as the server. Every table was dirty with dishes and crumbs. A lot of the tables had empty ketchup bottles, we noticed another table went to five different tables until they found a ketchup bottle with ketchup. Needless to say, we will never return. read more

I used to love this place. I got an email on the 17th that said that the 18th was national cheeseburger day and I could use a coupon for BOGO cheese burger. My mom's birthday was on the 18th, so my husband and I decided to treat my parents to a birthday dinner. We got there around 6:15 PM and slid into a booth. My dad unfortunately sat in a hole in the booth and had to shift over to the firmer area. We had our drink orders taken, and after a few moments my parents remembered that they don't like whip cream. We kept trying to get the waiter and manager and at one point the manager walked to our table, realized the receipt he held wasn't for our table and walked away without asking us what we needed. Finally my dad just got fed up and walked over to the counter and told the manager that he didn't want any whip cream on the shake. It took forever to get our small burgers. The poor waiter was the only 1 waiter on National Cheeseburger Day!!! I was shocked that there wasn't better communication because around 7PM the restaurant filled up and the poor waiter was stressing about everyone there. My parents were so upset that I couldn't even enjoy my burger. Half way through I had to stop eating and I just gave it to my husband. Seating needs to be repaired, I loved sitting at the booths to put nickles in the jukebox. Management needs to plan for days like National Burger Days so that there is sufficient help. There was 1 waiter, 1 manager and 1 cook. Totally unacceptable. I miss the days when the restaurant first opened and the staff used to dance, give the children hats and balloons. I'm not sure I'll come back to this location. There's got to be some big changes made. read more

The quality of the burger, the time you wait to get it and the price it has... let's just say you are better off with Stars. You go in, you get a chatty waiter, and a half-a**sed service. The burger itself lacks condiments, it is bland, and the chips aren't that great. Now, if it was a few dollars cheaper, I would have given it probably a 3, but considering the price, you don't really get what you pay for. At this price, even A-sh1t-dolios sounds good. Advice: Improve on the taste of the burger, chips will be eaten regardless. What's good: The sodas are the good part about it. You don't get the Stripes-quality you get at other fast food places. Recommendation to management: Get it together. There's only so much the novelty of what Rockets does can get you. Other places are finally opening around and you will struggle. read more

We took our son for his 16th bday since he wanted a burger& I couldn't just take him to whataburger for his bday. I thought it would be fun to go to 50s shake & burger shop. It was 10 minutes before our drink order was taken. It was another 10 minutes before our waitress came to take our order.when our order finally came she forgot my strawberry shake. She asked if I wanted still wanted one, it would take 5 mins. I said no because I wanted strawberry shake w burger. The bacon was so overcooked it should have been called bacon bits. It took over 30 mins to bring burgers & Chilli cheese fries...then they brought without forks. It looked like our order had been sitting under heat lamp for awhile .When we asked for forks they were never brought out. We had to personally get our own forks from inside ourselves! ! When we asked the host for forks he asked "ohh they never brought it out?" Then he finished what he was doing & then we got our forks!! Needless to say by that time our Chilli cheese fries where cold & gross! When i was just about finished w meal they brought me out a chocolate malt!! food quality was okay, nothing to rave about for $10.00 burgers. Chili's has better burgers than this place. Over rated! Its an over priced burger joint. My husband and had a burger with bacon, cheese,coke and fries. My baby had a kids meal hotdog and fries and a coke. We all shared a shake and the grand totall was $38.00! I thouht it was crazy $ for burgers! They were not bad tasting but whataburger could have done the same for less $. To begin with, this was whatever food, just like any other place, would've preferred going to whataburger than here, I got a regular burger, single meat, no cheese, fries and a drink, payed around 11$ for it, nope nope nope, it was NOT worth it at all, and then they randomly start dancing by your table and you just sit there awkwardly, wondering if you should stop eating and look at them or ignore them and try to keep eating your food, the dancing just made me feel really awkward, been there once when it first opened and have never returned. read more
