I had the Rocket Double Burger, fries, and a vanilla milkshake. The milkshake was good, exactly what I wanted on a hot day. It was cold, very smooth, not overly sweet. The burger had that signature Johnny Rockets flavor, which I don't mind, but it's a hit or miss depending on your taste. The burger and fries alone cost over $20, and the fries were served stale, like they'd been sitting out and unsalted or lightly salted. I walked in to the restaurant and almost shed a tear. One premade mediocre sandwich and fries for 22 dollars + tax... I'd rather eat the birds outside. Although the food is premade and all the worker has to do is turn around and grab the food, they somehow still managed to make me wait a good 35-40 minutes. when I finally received my food and took a bite, I (non surprisingly) was not impressed. the food was nothing more than a frozen burger somone would make in their house and absolutely nowhere near the quality of a 22 + tax dollar burger. Look, I understand this is fast food but I have had Johnny Rockets in the past and this is nowhere near that. The meals are all premade and sit under heat lamps. No hot meal here, more lukewarm than anything ($20 by the way). However it was edible and sufficed as a meal during a long day at Six Flags. Short review: I'm surprised by the low ratings. It's a quick service fast food place inside of Six Flags--maybe people, for some odd reasons, are expecting a five star dining experience to have so many issues. Nonetheless, after a few hours in the park with my family, we all worked up an appetite. We ventured here because they had burgers, unlike two of the other eateries we saw. We walked inside and it not overly crowded; however, the line moves very slowly here. I don't know what was going on with the employees but I'd say we waited about 20-25 people with only about 6 or 7 people ahead of us. With that being said, I left and took some of my smaller relatives to a bench because seating seemed very limited. We all had burgers which come with both fries and onion rings. The onion rings were a bit too greasy, but it's standard fast food burger joint quality. The burgers were pretty good and everyone seemed satisfied. We took the kids to the bathroom and when we returned, we learned there was a brawl with some teenagers or young adult males. (I did not deduct any points for this, I'm just mentioning it, as it was a part of my experience) I'd say this is an acceptable place to venture while at Six Flags, but don't expect the same experience that you'd get at a sit down Johnny Rockets restaurant. read more

The burger quality is here is subpar compared to any fast food burger place, including the McDonalds dollar menu. The patty is really thin and flavorless, and the cheese/lettuce/tomato that accompanies it just looks depressing because they are so inadequate. If I were paying full price, I would give it 1 star probably. The reason that I'm giving it 3 is that it is included in the 6 flags dining pass , which means that its free if you have the pass. For free, I can't really complain. Came with a large side of fries and onion rings. The fries were fairly good, although the onion rings were quite dry. We also got a shake (this was free too... a "snack" covered by the dining pass) which was not bad. We came fairly early before the dinner rush and wait was fairly quick. They actually have the food prepared in advance so by the time you order they can hand it over quickly. read more

Johnny Rockets had worn out their welcome during their heyday in the early 1990's so the fact that they're still slinging exorbitantly priced fast food thirty years later is beyond comprehension. The Pulp Fiction 50s/60s kitsch is tired and since Uma Thurman won't be joining me for dinner, I have no patience for rock around the clock schlock. When you think of Johnny Rockets, you think of basically a notch above fast food places such as McDonald's or Burger King. I've been to more than a few and some were as decent as an average diner. Of course a Johnny Rockets in a theme park other than Disney was going to be dismal, but dismal is probably too good of a word to describe the ones in Six Flags. There are two locations not that far apart in Six Flags. Not sure which one is officially registered on this site, but it doesn't really matter as they both are about the same with only slight cosmetic differences. There were not many options in Six Flags that looked remotely appealing even in a theme park, so we settled on this figuring it would be the best of the worst. Afterwards in retrospect, it was probably better to starve. These are shortened versions of Johnny Rockets, meaning you're getting a very limited menu choice. I can understand the waiting as it does take time to cook burgers, but the waiting here was pretty bad still. The food of course was overpriced as the theme park norm. While the burgers were edible, they were sub-par compared to the price and wait time for them. The fries were average and the onion rings were tolerable. Again, it's in a theme park - but have some self respect for your business name. The staff was about as bland as the food they serve. Nothing special. The kids meal choices are poor and most kids won't really like them. They're trying to be "healthy", so included in the kids meals is a fruit cup and organic Capri Sun juice pouches. Not a knock on trying to be healthy, but it's a little much in a theme park. At least give the choice. There's some seating outside both locations. Some have umbrellas and others don't. They were fairly decent clean. All in all a slightly better choice in a sea of horrid choices in Six Flags, but that's also not saying too much at the same time as they aren't a good choice themselves either and there's no excuse for the prices they charge. Six Flags won't allow you to bring in any food, so your choices are garbage or starving. Starving is probably a better choice, but it all depends on how long you plan on staying in the park. If you need to eat something, I guess this would be the last resort (as it was for us) - but know you're overpaying for bland, limiting choices and have a long wait for it as well. read more

So bad! Come on now Johnny Rockets, why would you have your name on this place and let this low quality of food be served? The place was empty, zero customers, when we walked in to order. Of course prices are sky high, we're at Six Flags Great Adventure, so I'm not upset, you have to expect that. My Wife ordered one order of onion rings for 2, one order of fries and on plain cheeseburger. I could see large amounts of fries and onion rings in pans in the back, why have so much pre-made? The park was at less than 30% capacity, no need for so much under a heat lamp. To make it worse the burger was also pre-made. When it was served the cheese was not even close to melted. My Wife and I took a look at everything and immediately asked for a refund. Even for amusement park standards this was awful. To make it worse the counter were you order was a mess! No customers, 4 employees just standing around, everything pre-made, they could have at the least cleaned the place. Do yourself a big favor do not eat here. I can't help but laugh at other reviews not that I had a great experience here myself but major note should be taken that this is a fast food chain inside of a very busy theme park so if you're expecting fast and attentive service, you're expectation is calling for a miracle! With that said, I'll try to focus on the positive side. Yes, the long cashier line moves quickly as there's multiple cash registers. Once you place your order, you are given a receipt to provide to another employee to get you your food order. No worries, there's numbers in the receipt so even if you have people who tries to cut the line, just show your order number to the staff. All condiments of ketchup, bbq, honey mustard and sweet and sour sauce, napkins, and plastic utensils are available on both sides of the exit. Outside seatings with umbrellas are also setup on both sides of the restaurant. Yes, food is greasy but it's of course expected. No one comes to eat at a fast food joint that is on a diet unless if they're on a see food diet! read more

The food is really good WHEN THEY MAKE IT RIGHT. Which more often then not, they don't. Well, that's not entirely correct. If you order something and want it EXACTLY how it's supposed to come, then it's right. If you have a special request (no lettuce, extra cheese, etc), then they will mess it up 50 times and it'll be a 45 minutes process to get it right and about 10 burgers later. Perfect example - I order the same thing every time I go here. A plain cheese burger; no lettuce, onion, tomatoes, or special sauce. Literally just bun, patty, cheese. Simple right? WRONG. Here's what I got; First try; it had lettuce on it and 1 slice of cheese (burger is supposed to come with 2). Second try; it had lettuce, 1 slice of cheese, tomatoes, and no patties! Third try; no cheese! You get the picture, I'm sure. I didn't ask for anything fancy but the people here can't fulfill the order and you can literally tell them HOW TO MAKE IT and they will still get it wrong a million times over. The food is good once you finally get it. My only complaint with the food itself is that it is GREASY. EXTREMELY GREASY. So if drowning in greasy bothers you, go elsewhere. If you're stomach can handle it, the food tastes great! But no one in the kitchen speaks or understands English and they can't get an order right to save their lives. read more

A few things to know;It's November two days removed from Thanksgiving . It's Holiday at the park!!! This location was operating at minimal staffing and they killed it. Pros: Ambiance was spectacular due to the Holiday light show and Giant lit Christmas tree located directly in front of the eatery. Lines were long and constant but we endured. Good staff ; friendly attitudes and great service. Food was piping hot, bacon was crispy, french fries properly salted and onion rings were Panko fresh. The food was great!!! I commented out loud ; compelled me to make a yelp review. Cons Price steep but considering the weather and circumstance it was worth it. Seating was outdoors in near darkness less The ambience of Christmas lights and outdoor heaters. Your food got cold if you weren't ravenous . Would recommend anytime. Other Thoughts: No singing or dancing or indoor seating. This is a grab and go but the quality of food and service had taken me back. read more

Taking into consideration we were at an amusement park and our expectations were low.....However Johnny Rockets is a chain and we were expecting some consistency within the chain. This has no semblance to other Johnny Rockets. Service was beyond poor. Staff couldn't get out of their own way. 35 min wait (after paying) with only 4 families ahead of us. We would have overlooked all of that but the burgers were so beyond awful that we threw them out. Buns tasted like pure butter. I get sick just thinking about it. As I wait in line i began to realize that none of the women handling my food had hair nets on. All of these ladies have hair that drop past their shoulders and it's disgusting to think there's is a high chance that hair can land in my milkshake. When we asked if all people handling food should wear hairnets the lady stated "yeah we should...but we don't" you would think at six flags basic food handling rules would be followed. My friends and I wanted to stop in for a quick bite to eat because one of us wanted Panda Express. So we stopped in, hoping that this trip would be short. I immediately noticed this lady talking in the back. She was having a full on conversation while there is obviously work to be done. My friends had to wait a solid 20 minutes for them to ask again about their order because they got it wrong. My friend asked for no cheese and they neglected to realize this and had to start over her order. My friend and I decided to look at the condiments section. There were cherry stems in the salt compartment. Ketchup everywhere and a complete mess. My friend and I have both worked in the food industry and know how important it is to keep everything clean. This Johnny Rocket's was also severely overstaffed. Too many people were standing around and doing nothing when there was obviously work to be done. The worst part of it all, the wait wasn't worth it. The burgers were cold and my friend's "favorite part", the sauce, was lacking. Barely any on the burger itself. I've never had a problem with Johnny Rockets before, I would give the 0 stars if I could. I ordered two burgers today, one of my burgers was missing the meat when I went back in the lady gave me a bad attitude and was very disrespectful. My other burger had hair in it and when I went back again they offered to give me a new one but I had already lost my appetite after find hair in my meal which I paid almost 70 dollars for and received such bad service. It's really unacceptable for workers working with food to not wear hair nets, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have happened if had worn hair nets. read more

No stars because they girl working there at 8pm last night, 8-26-15, closed the window in my and my family's face after we waited on line about 15 minutes. I explained we had been waiting for about 15 minutes (for 1 customer in front of us I might add). Is there any way you can take us? "No" was the reply. I dont understand why when the park closes at 10pm. Someone in charge really should retrain this person in customer service.
