Waitress was very attentive and food came out fast. My husbands omelet was a bit dry but otherwise decent time here.

I love coming to diners in NJ. They usually always have great food. My girlfriend and I stopped by this one, since we were nearby. The staff was very nice and friendly. Lots of parking too this diner had. We got seated right away, since it was a Wednesday night. They have so many menu options here. Most diners do. We just tried out 2 different Wraps. Both Wraps came with fries; I added cheese to my fries as I love cheese fries. We had a turkey wrap and a southwest chicken wrap. They were both very good. Nothing spectacular, but a solid wrap. Would of loved to try out some of their other items. But I can't go above 3 stars, since I had better Wraps at different diners. If I come back, and have different items I enjoy more, I'll rate higher.

Omg i only posted one pic because all i wanted to is finish my food. I know I only had a simple dish. It was a pizza burger, but I can assure you. It's possible to mess up a pizza burger. Trust me. They do use good quality meat good quality burger. It was really enjoyable and also I tried that coleslaw was really good. I had their salad. I had. I tried their rice pudding which was really really really good. This kind of reminds me of what a diner used to be. You know in the old days. The Greeks ran the diners, and there was a reason because they were the best of the best running a diner, and all the food tasted great, and the service was amazing. Workers couldn't even play around. Everything was done to perfection This really reminds me of an old Greek style run diner like back in the old days where it was excellent Places like this, turning into dinosaurs extinct When you got a diner, this good you really have to appreciate it and keep it going and keep giving it the business and believe me. This place is not lack of business. I was waiting close to half hour, and I only ran into this place by accident. And thank God I have to say this, and I hate to say it, but this is my old time really favorite diner I will be coming back to try some of their other food Because I am a chef and I have my over 30 years experience in the food industry. Just having a simple pizza burger. I can tell that this place is top notch and it doesn't play around the cut corners. It's really good. The place was jampacked. I mean there was a lot of people waiting and the lot was full so saying that alone tells you what a good place and a lot of people knew about this place because believe me today they were all here and thank God I was able to get in. Also, I wanna say thank you to Pat my waitress. She was excellent really fast, hard-working woman. She was carrying entrées for six people and one big serving tray like the woman can literally beat you in the arm wrestling because she's holding all these dishes with one arm. this woman it's gotta be tough as hell. I wouldn't wanna mess with her. I bet you. She has a good right hook from holding all those dishes on that serving tray with one hand And the way she was moving around with it. Yeah she's pretty tough cookie. She's a very lovely woman. Very mega worker. Awesome hard worker man. the ambience of this place. is a beautiful clean, wonderful diner, and that's exactly what this ambience is. OK. I like the atmosphere. Everybody's cheerful. Everybody's happy. All the workers are working hard. You can't beat this. It's a OK if you want to be in a place. Where is run? Really high performance and good food and good service. Nice smiles. Very polite. Well, this is the place

This is one of my favorite Jersey diners. When I am back in town visiting family I always like to have a meal here. I am surprised I haven't reviewed them sooner since I have been here more than a dozen times. I had lunch here yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I ordered the lunch beef goulash which was super good. The portion was huge. I started with motzah ball soup since that is not something the diners in Maryland serve. I've missed it! My mom had the eggplant parm and my dad had a wrap. They both enjoyed their meals and we all had leftovers. Kim provided excellent service. She was friendly and attentive. We never had to ask for anything as she made sure we had extra napkins, refills, etc automatically.

I of course used Yelp to find a good diner on my drive from New Brunswick to Atlantic City. I found Broad Street located in Keyport not far from the Garden State Parkway. It's your "classic" diner which has that 1950's vibe with the exterior and interior decor. Elvis paraphernalia is featured here. They had a busy lunch crowd. I sat at the counter and ordered a McCaffrey Wrap which comes with grilled chicken, bacon, cheddar jack cheese, lettuce, tomato and honey mustard. It was really good. The side of sweet potato fries were crispy and seasoned just right. The staff were courteous and the service quick. There is a small parking lot that can accommodate about five cars. There was plenty of on street parking. The downtown area was nice and you can take a nice walk after dining here to the waterfront.

The only nit here is the pricing which is still very high. Not hard to spend $50 here with tip for breakfast for two people. If they were 10-15% cheaper I would be rating them (5) stars. But, be that as it may, we will breakfast here from time to time.

He was interestingly hanging out in the back of the (nearly empty) place not doing much of anything. Key context -- we had a kid with us, and we asked for that food to come out when it was ready. It did not. In fact, no food came out (note: one of the reasons we picked a diner like this is that we expected the orders to come out pretty quickly). I flagged someone down after a 15 or so minute wait to ask about the status and got a nonsense "it's on the way" response. At this point, our toddler is near meltdown, so we ask for it to go to avoid any further issues. I take the kiddo back to the hotel and my wife waits seemingly more time for them to pack up the order. One item is incorrect and another item (a fruit plate we ordered) is missing entirely. They fix the incorrect item, pack everything up, and when we go to eat it, I see a small handful of blueberries and 2 cut up strawberries as our $13 "fruit plate." Also, the food wasn't good, but to be expected after the comedy of errors it was in even getting our (correct) order. Just a pathetic and disgusting experience all around. NYC is such a great food city, and I can't believe we were unlucky enough to pick the worst one in the 5 boroughs.

My girlfriend and I looked at the extensive menu and thought, 'why come to the skillet and not order a skillet??' So we did - and we were not disappointed. She ordered the skillet with sweet potato and eggs and was really happy with her choice. I went for the ultimate skillet - which includes bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, a pancake and a waffle. Bacon is standard and the sausages (including the chicken) had a sweeter, mild flavor, but the eggs and potatoes were the real star of the show - just super well prepared. The pancake and waffle were ok, but I think I would have enjoyed them better on their own - they were more of an afterthought in the ultimate skillet and eating them last probably didn't help. Price was on target for brunch considering the generous portion and quality of the food and service. Would definitely come back if in the area.

The Lemon Orange ricotta pancake was phenomenal and I love that they offer a single pancake (plain or specialty!) as a side so you can have your sweet treat post meal - more places should do this! The Fried rice under the coconut shrimp wasn't cooked super well; this was probably the most disappointing menu item. Their iced coffee can also be ordered to go; I had a black iced coffee so not much to review but the coffee itself was tasty! Loved the decor of the restaurant but it was very noisy and chaotic.
