Someone got a gold coin from santa.

Definition of an old person morning diner. The place was awesome, though. Everyone loved my daughter. She even got to meet santa in july. I really liked the cheap prices too.

A solid diner option on Route 33 approaching Freehold from the west. Great service, food, and outdoor dining. We came here as a group and we're very pleased during the coronavirus to see how far they separated tables with their outdoor seating. The service was excellent I have to say from the start. I felt very safe with the quality of the facemasks that the staff were wearing as they waited on our table. I ordered a western omelette with cheddar cheese and it was very good! I would say it was 3.5 stars. The breakfast quesadilla was excellent, at least four stars! Really liked the food here. But I also liked that the food was not greasy. This is a big thing, the home fries were not greasy and for me that was a big deal. Very tasty but not swimming in grease. Finally the coffee was also above average so that pushed me to 4 stars! Definitely a great stop along route 33 if you're looking for a safe quick bite with quality and service!

Grilled Salmon and rice and spinach

First time there. Dining alone. No waiting for table even on Saturday night. Had craving for Salmon. Ordered grilled salmon dinner. It was delicious! Nick my waiter was checking to make sure everything was good. Really nice touch that owner and manager(both named John) greeted me at entrance and also came by my table to say hello and make sure everything was ok. I told them how outstanding Nick was and in particular to a solo diner. Ambiance of restaurant was bright and clean. Definitely will return and bring friends. Highly recommend.

She loved that there were multiple eggs on this order and didn't realize that. LOL. She loved it a lot. She said that she never had an omelette inside a Benedict before. Hubs ordered Hamburger Deluxe, which came with lettuce, tomatoes, fries, coleslaw and pickle. He ordered it rare with extra onions, but he got it medium rare. The fries were nice and well done. Hubs said that it was a nice classic diner burger platter. Everything was as nice as it could be. He appreciated the effort making it as rare as possible. Waffles with bananas - this was pretty good. It was nice and crispy. Service was nice and friendly. Will return to try other items on the menu.

However, while the 4 of us were still enjoying each other's company, we were told our table (for 4) was needed. Again, there were many unoccupied tables. We did leave, went to the parking lot continuing to chat. At least 10 minutes later, both my husband and I went back in to use the restroom. The table we had been seated at and was told they needed, was STILL UNOCCUPIED! There was no apparent reason, we were asked to leave. Perhaps we were 'picked on' because a member of our party uses a mobility scooter. I certainly hope that wasn't the reason. I will say, we left most unwelcomed. Will NOT go there again and will tell friends not to as well

Brand: 5/5 Park Nine Diner is located on the corner of a busy intersection between the Adelphia-Farmingdale area and Freehold. It really evokes the classic, Googie look of the 50s-era diner with the bright colors and sharp shapes. This type of homage leads its way to the interior, where you will find many booths and interior design that reflect that time period. Website: 5/5 It has a classy look, from the font to the design of the image gallery, and brings you to the backstory of the business. You will find many menu items that each gallery shows. When it comes to the menus, you have options to choose either breakfast menus or the full menu, specifically the files of each of them which have their own physical forms. Wait Time: 5/5 I did not experience any issues while awaiting my order. Ambiance: 5/5 You are welcomed by a large entrance, giving the diner a level of prestige. The comfortable booths have a large enough space on their tables. You will also hear plenty of classic rock from the 50s onward getting you energized for the day. For a large establishment, plenty of space exists between the tables. You will also find an abundant menu selection to entice your visit to this diner, including a complementary glass of water. Food: 4/5 I ordered the Park Nine Omelette, consisting of sausage, bacon, and ham, which came with home fries and toast. From the omelette meats to the side dishes, every food had a well-prepared crisp. The toast had good, firm form, the omelette managed to stay together for the most part despite the numerous meats, and the home fries had a crispy taste. The omelette had a salty taste, due to the ham having the most prominent taste, while the bacon gave it a good crunch, and the sausage gave it somewhat of a hearty taste. For a signature dish, I will say that the Park Nine Omelette manages to evoke that Googie aesthetic with the high emphasis on meats, especially ham, that bring about a salty, hearty flavor. The website itself does favors for the food when it shows them, and it would have given me an idea of the Park Nine Omelette even if it did not show it. The time it took to prepare this course accurately matched the time it took to wait. I would not say that Park Nine Omelette gave me a positive mood throughout the day. Nonetheless, I could see how the service managed to make a good course. Service: 5/5 The staff ensured that I received our order, by incrementally handing them to us. Based on my first impressions, I will say that I had a good experience. It promises an "inviting atmosphere" on its website, and it does live up to it. They ensured the preparation of our orders and that we got them quickly. The service care about their establishment, from bringing themselves up to speed with technology to the cleanliness. Cost: 5/5 Factoring in my order, the course definitely matched the price in both abundance and quantity. When I include everything else about the diner, I will say that the experience made the journey there worth it. I would be curious about the other menu items the next time I go. I have no substantial personal suggestions except to add more images of the menu items to the website. Rating: 5/5 Stars I had a pretty good time going to Park Nine Diner with their signature dish. I would definitely consider it a first choice should I ever want to go back. This diner has potential to continue existing along Route 9. Recommend To... Pending time of day, it can get rowdy, but it's usually quiet for the most part. Highly recommend this diner!

Friendly and efficient staff. Food ... oh the food is truly for "foodies". I can always find something eclectic while my husband smiles and almost inhales his more standard choices. Both of us always full after eating our different personal choices. It would almost be criminal not to bring up their soups. So good that once this month both my husband and I had cups of lobster bisque before our breakfast entrees. Last weekend's breakfast I had a cup of lemon chicken orzo soup that was rich, creamy, lemony goodness bathing the chunks of chicken. Today at lunch I had a delightful tomato basil that made me think of my mom with every spoonful. My husband had a delicious matzo ball soup where I could smell the chicken and simmered vegetables from across the table. We are working our way through the menu with many forays into their ever changing "specials" menu. Today lunch consisted of three pork chops, mashed potatoes and corn for my hubby. I expect him to sink into his barcalounger and sleep the afternoon away before tomorrow's blizzard. I had succulent chopped beef that was smothered under mushrooms, onions and gravy. Mashed potatoes with melted cheese and scallions and corn on the side. Who knew I would want hot honey on anything much less a breakfast item? This restaurant gets that people like me want to try new flavors amidst the familiar so earlier this month I had a breakfast burrito lined with pancakes, filled with eggs, sausage and bacon then deep fried like a chimichanga. Crunchy goodness. But it was the addition of hot honey that made the item sing! A great way to try hot honey IF you have not explored it elsewhere because you can request it on the side in a small syrup container and then you get to control how much you try. Me? I ended up dumping the whole container of warmed hot honey all over my burrito and I have been craving more plates of that entree ever since!

The location is a little further than we would normally travel, but it was worth it. I loved all the farm to table foods they have. They even nicely promote all the partners they use right on the wall of the restaurant, so you know where all your food comes from. Everyone loved their meals! I had the Thai chicken sandwich and it was so flavorful and delicious. It came with a side and I picked baked sweet potato wedges that were really good and so memorable that a week later I am still thinking about them. Other dishes ordered were the chicken salad and strawberry salad which my friends both enjoyed. Our server was very good and didn't rush us as we were just chatting up a storm. The restaurant suggests reservations which are a good idea, especially for dinner. I will definitely be back and can't wait to put Harvest on my restaurant rotation. Sorry no photos this time... the food was just so good and we were hungry!

Tucked away in a small town, you will find a cozy nook to discover American cuisine…read more Brand: 5/5 Harvest is a small restaurant in Farmingdale specializing in New American cuisine. The entrance stands out in this borough, despite its small size. I do think that sign with the wooden background reflected the cozy interior quite well with a homey style. The country décor on the walls also enhances the aesthetics. Website: 5/5 It wastes no time, for it immediately opens you to the menu where most of the items have their own images. I appreciated the minimalistic design where the understandable font provides you with the information. The basic description of the establishment does say that they rely on locally sourced ingredients. Ambiance: 5/5 Normally, dark interiors would not necessarily work for eateries unless they achieve a cozy vibe; which is what Harvest did perfectly. The wooden walls provide a sense of comfort underneath lights dim enough to not offend the eyes but bright enough to see. Despite the cramped space, I did think that the interior fitted the ambiance, along with the smooth country music playing over the radio. Service: 5/5 The staff was quite jovial and patiently explained a part of the menu. We had no issues with our orders. Wait Time: 5/5 I did wait awhile for the meals, though we managed to get our orders without any interruptions. Food: 4/5 I ordered the Grilled Chicken Thai Sandwich with no additional sides, with a free, complementary glass of water. It has ciabatta beard containing grilled chicken, spinach, cucumbers, and Thai sauce. I do not know if the signature sauce is authentically Thai, but I will say that I could barely tolerate the pungent taste and smell. I cannot say whether it is the feature. Every other part, such as the spinach and the cucumbers, definitely complemented the grilled chicken with a juicy taste. The ciabatta bread buns managed to hold their form, even as the contents started to fall off. Worth The Money?: 2/5 I will say that Harvest brand has as much of a highfalutin status as its prices. While the restaurant reflects the New American cuisine, it does not come off as condescending. Nevertheless, I still thought that the limited menu items just do not help with the prices. For the website, I would suggest a list of all the farms and independent distributors that Harvest relies on for ingredients, and to include a backstory about how Harvest began and where the name came from. I find local-sourcing incredibly important and commend Harvest for incorporating this into their business model. Concerning the food, I will say that the Grilled Chicken Thai sandwich did have suffice within the ambiance. The wait time it took to make the meal was appropriate enough. I will say that the wait time did feel long within the establishment, especially when no one else was around. Nevertheless, the service did make the food worth the wait and the ambiance worth immersing in. With all of this being said, would I say that the overall price would bring me back? Not really. Even the complementary water could not win me over when compared to the prices. Prestigious New American eateries tend to have a focus on specific consumer bases, and I am just not one of them. I do not score low on this part out of spite, rather based on my current station and many other people. I did tip the staff and I did have enough satisfaction with the meal. Rating: 4/5 Stars I do not know how Harvest would carry itself into the future, though I can see how it would suffice as a New American restaurant. Recommend To... Anyone with enough disposable income looking for a quiet restaurant.
