Between my family and friends, my parents and kids have purchased 4, our friends have purchased 3 bikes from them, and I've purchased 3 bikes myself. All this between 2019 and now! Mr B's has a huge, I mean enormous selection of bikes between their three stores in Yuma, which made it easy to help my parents, my older kids, a few friends all find different styles of bikes, and I found a couple high end full suspension bikes for myself! The staff are great and know a lot about bicycles. They can get busy sometimes, but that's because so many people in Yuma, including snowbirds, trust their service, their experience, and the product they carry. Twice in the last week I came as I want to buy an electric bike. The first time he was just ok I didn't love my experience but I wanted to bring my husband back to grab it. Today we went and he was so rude and seemed annoyed to even be there. If you know someone is going to drop 3 grand maybe be friendly. We just left and drove to the Castle Dome one. A+ experience there but ultimately after the bad taste the Foothills store left I don't want to support a business like that and we are just going to San Diego or Phoenix this weekend.

At just under 200 miles the new belt that Essary installed shredded. I called expecting that they…read morewould either refund or replace the belt, but was told that they would not do anything for me. Too bad. We thought we had found a place that we could trust to service our Yamaha. After being in the corporate world for years, and then co-owning a successful business for 15 years, I am surprised to see a company that handles things in this manner. Instead we were given the number for the company that made the belt and told that we would have to deal with it ourselves. We still need front tires for our Yamaha, along with upgrades that we have planned, but we will not be taking our Yamaha back to Essary. Two years later we have changed the oil at half the recommended schedule. The rebuilt engine by Essary burns about a quart every 200 miles and is smoking out the tail pipe. We are finally going to retire our side by side because even with the rebuilt engine it is no longer reliable. We will never return to this place for service.

Two weeks ago I was traveling and had a flat halfway between Blythe and Phoenix. After waiting 4.5…read morehours to get a tow to Quartzite, a night in a hotel, and an 80 mile tow to the dealer the next day (NOT related) my patience was understandably a bit thin. Finally unloaded my bike around 10-11am Saturday morning for a rear tire change. I called in advance, they confirmed they had a tire, and would have everything ready when I arrived. They did tell me that it's 'first come first serve' on Saturday. Ugh...typically a sign of pending doom. When we got there 3-4 guys came right out to help unload the bike and as promised all the paperwork was waiting. The downside was the 'first come first serve' especially when you're on the road. It seems that dealers have different takes on how to handle in-transit travelers. I understand why they do it, but given others will give you priority it is still frustrating that I had to wait 4.5 hours for a tire change to get back on the road. Everyone from the tech writers to the mechanic and even the sales staff were excellent in answering questions and making sure we were comfortable while waiting, and frankly can't speak highly enough about the personnel. I've been to the dealer in the past for long weekends in the area, but Yuma was not our destination that trip (Phoenix) and have never had any complaints. I'm knocking off a star only for the wait but otherwise I'd be happy to visit the dealer again (and I'm sure I will). Thanks for the great service guys!
