Last month I had bad service. Thought I would give it another try. We waited 35 minutes and no food or response. We did get a drink order. Three other people walked out while we waited. I went to pay for my drink and they did not charge me. Before last month we never had an issue with Johnny's Pizza. This sucks. read more

We've been here before and really enjoy it. There is decent parking in the strip mall with some spots in the shade. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We chose outdoor today because it was beautiful weather-wise, they have screens (so no bugs!) and ceiling fans. The server paced our toasted ravioli (unpictured), wings, and slices perfectly. She was patient when we couldn't decide what to order. I love the new cup and char pepperoni! The wings are a little on the small side so I'd head over to nearby Buffalo Luke's for those. We used to go there often, but the last time my sub sandwich didn't agree with me. Through half away. Pizzas have always been great. My review is based on the cleanliness of the dining area. Im guessabout 70% of the tables, seats and condiments are not properly wiped down. The condiment containers are always dirty, as well as the small lazy susan they are on. A few nights ago we went in, sat in a booth. A young female server walked by us and dropped 2 dirty napkins on the floor next to our table, in a heavy traffic area by the register. We counted at least 10 times she walked passed the and never bothered to pick them up. But 3 more employees walked by them and totally ignored them. Overall good food, but needs a deep cleaning. read more

Tried this place a few times and always something, one time it's the service, another time the food takes forever to come out. But this time I requested if they could adjust the ceiling fan above use to at least a low setting, they said no. If I had a step ladder with me I'd probably would have done it myself. So instead I get to watch my wife and son shivering while still waiting for our dinner to arrive. And yes there is an outside patio but even those fans are set a Mach 5 and the seating outside is hard seating, so we prefer indoor. There was no offer to move us anyways. Stopped in here on the way to Ellijay for a quick lunch. Was really surprised to find a cauliflower crust on the menu and it was the same price as any other pizza. It was absolutely fabulous, cooked up very crisp and the buffalo chicken recipe was fantastic. Order a side of blue cheese to drizzle over the top and it was heaven! My husband and daughter each had different slices, they said the crust was very crispy and all in all a very good meal. Terrible. I ordered baked ziti (or penne) to go. When I got home, before I ate any, I looked beneath the cheese and there was NOT ONE pasta shell. All the pasta were just slivers and scraps of pieces you get when you are rough when stirring the pot during cooking and pieces get sliced up. Any other cook would be ashamed to serve that. Must have been the last of the pot and just gathered up the scraps and threw it together. It was limp and overcooked as well. Dog food. Just shows the cook really doesn't care. I really enjoy Johnny's. Quite often when my husband feels like pizza, and I don't, I can get a salad (several great choices) and garlic knots, a hot sub sandwich, pasta. There's so many options. There's also some great lunch deals with a sub, fries, and a drink, or a slice and a drink, etc for really reasonable prices. The staff is always super friendly and it's generally a nice place to hang out. The only tiny little thing I'm not crazy about is the sausage on the pizza. It's kind of like a crumble type of sausage that I have not seen before. But aside from that great pizza! read more

Can't believe I didn't even know this place was here! Lol Not usually a fan of a chain restaurant like this but we were pleasantly surprised! Excellent service! Especially since we arrived 30mins before closing, they didn't rush us at all! I don't know what has happened but tonight will be the last time we go back. This is a stark contrast of my previous review. We ordered 2 pizzas tonight and went to pick them up, paid 48.00 and was told one was ready but the other one left, by mistake, on a delivery. How do you not check your delivery to be sure its correct before you leave? I was told we would have to wait for the other pizza to be made again. Its snowing, I have my pregnant stressed dog that had just been to the Vet in the car and now I have to wait on a pizza. We get the pizzas home and they were the worst we have ever had from there. We have eaten at Johnny's numerous times. While having our house built in Big Canoe, we came over from Alabama about once a month for over a year. We ate here at least once each time. Pizzas are great, calzones too. Good side salads, & beer/wine okay. It is noisy, & true that the tables aren't cleaned off immediately, but they are working as hard as they can, & that makes a difference to us. Seems everyone is short handed, & hiring. First game having Johnnys pizza. I had delivery. We're from up north. This pizza actually reminded me of home. We lived 30 miles from NY. Crust was perfect. Pizza was a 9 out of 10. My girlfriend ordered the gluten free pizza. She said it's the best she has had since we have been in Georgia. (8 months) Highly recommend Johnnys. Cheese bread was on point. And there salads were packed with goodness. Definitely a fan and a repeat customer for sure. read more

So this is my opinion one of the better chain Pizza places. The Jasper location is up to par with others I tried. We live close so we usually get delivery. Pizza always gets here hot and fresh. Pizza is decent. Salad is a good side choice. Kids always gotta have garlic knots. There a little greasy for me. So we think in general the best choice for pizza in Jasper since we lack a small hometown place. read more

Bad service, average food. We sat for 10-15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Many of the beers advertised on the beer list were not available. We had to remind the waitress that we ordered an appetizer and it arrived after the meal. No salad dressing brought with the salads. Dirty silverware. Not sure what has happened but we used to get very good pizzas with a lot of cheese without asking for a lot of cheese but the last two times we went the pizza was barely done. It was very white and doughy. The first time I figured it was a bad day but we got the same again this week. Disappointing. Not a lot of cheese or sauce either. The pizza is decent, but it takes forever and the price is outrageous. I'm used to waiting 45 minutes for thick, Chicago style pizza, but not for paper-thin New York style. After two eat-ins and one carry-out with the same results, I'm done. Too expensive and takes too long. read more

I'm leaving an updated review now- We order at least once a week if not twice a week since first trying Johnny's when we became new to the area. (We order delivery and take out.) It always takes an hour to an hour to an hour and half when we do delivery even though we are 6 minutes down the road and this is fine. We had an issue getting the food cold one time however there was no point in complaining so we just re-heated it and ate our dinner. The last time we ordered and will ever order there again was tonight when we had ordered 10 wings, 2 subs, a calzone and a gallon of tea. I was told it would be an hour and the driver arrived an hour and 20 minutes later. Ok just 20 mins later than told..not a problem. Then we're given our order and there is no tea. My fiancé stops the driver and asks him if he forgot the tea. The driver said he would find out and left. Fiance calls the store and they answer and put us on hold right away and we're on hold for 10 minutes while we can hear them laughing and talking amongst themselves the whole time. Then a girl says "did you leave them on hold?". A lady answers and I let her know we've been holding 10 minutes and the driver has forgotten our gallon of tea. Instead of apologizing she gets defensive and keeps saying "people make mistakes". My fiancé asks for a refund because at this point our food has been sitting on the table 20 mins and we're still waiting on our tea to be brought back to us. She says we can get a refund if we bring our food back up there. She says the driver is bringing the tea to us. It's now been 45 minutes since our food was delivered and it's safe to say no tea is coming. This whole thing has been handled very unprofessionally. No apology or any sort of compensation. --- We actually had to go up there to pick up the tea and they offered us 50% off our next order. We have ordered maybe twice since then and the food hasn't been up to par. Pretty disappointing and wouldn't order again if it wasn't for their wings. read more

I love the spinach salad, goes great with a slice of pizza, i have never tried anything here that was not fresh or delicious. Service can be lacking sometimes... but it can also be spot on. One time when our server went mia the cook himself got us refills and napkins... i feel he went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. All and all i recommend it. Try the spinach salad .
