Mamma Onesta's brings heart and wholesome goodness to the table! Family pride and a talent for providing an exceptional dining experience runs deep. Each course was prepared with a light/healthy texture, and big on flavor and freshness. We enjoyed: calamari, Caesar salad, and Chicken Marsala. The coconut bread pudding was our only indulgence - NOT sorry:) Cheers to the memorable dining experience provided by Melanie, Mario, and Simone

Just finished a wonderful meal with good friends. Mamma Onesta's was an excellent choice. We ordered appetizers of calamari, mussels, and toasted cheese ravioli. Our mains included Carbonara, Eggplant Parm, Veal Parm, Eggplant Rollottini, Lasagna, and tonight's special- Bucatini. Everyone complimented the flavors of their meal. We all shared a bite of bread pudding as well. After the first bite of the toasted ravioli, I immediately knew we were in for a very good meal! The service was awesome. Nick and Melanie we knowledgeable and helpful and took very good care of us. The Chef came to our table twice to ask us how we liked our meals. Momma Onesta's has a great atmosphere, soft lighting, a well stocked bar, and friendly staff. Highly recommend for every occasion, family, and friends.

We had our first visit tonight for Father's Day. What an incredible experience. Everything was delicious and unique. Owners were very friendly too. We will be back! Grazie mille!

Only have been here once. We ate at the bar which we had to make a reservation for. A little strange because we were the only people in the place for the first 45 minutes. The ambience on the bar was nice with an old bar feel. Service was decent. Food was really good. I had the nightly special which was really good. The bruschetta was not great. The restaurant is a little strange and the reservation process for the bar area is strange as well. With newer Italian restaurants coming to downtown, it might be time for an upgrade of reservation policies and decor here.

Got lost in Atlanta. Planned to eat elsewhere but God had other plans. He placed us in Mario's capable hands for the night. The eggplant rollitini and snapper portofino were amazing! Best calamari I've ever had. Breading was light and calamari was easy to chew. Would happily dine here again. This place has the hospitality so lacking in most of todays restaurants. Bravo!

Fall is my favorite time because I have to get the butternut squash pasta--it's that good. It's always great to see POPS busy, even during the week. It just adds to the energy of downtown and makes you appreciate having such a gem in the community. We truly hope POPS becomes a longtime staple here in Canton--places like this deserve it. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and go. You won't regret it.

I pulled onto the road where reformation brewery is, proceeded down the road a bit to see what's happening in the mills area. I did recall that Campania opened shop here and head they were doing well which pleases me because I frequent crabapple location often. Great pizza and interesting appetizers. This time I opened for a simple Margherita pizza and a cup of Italian wedding soup. The pizza needs no explanation, it was excellent. The Italian wedding soup had an interesting take on it the carrots were a a lot firmer than I expected making it a soft crunch the meatballs were nice but overall it lacked seasoning. The establishment takes a page from the old mill look with exposed beans on the walls and roofline. When we said not yet she walked away and we had to call her back for a drink order. When we were still eating she asked if we wanted boxes. Brings you back to the NJ/NY slice you had a so long ago and never forget. The sauce, slightly sweet and flavorful. No bitterness or canned tomato taste, it's almost like a Sunday gravy. The cheese appears to be a blend, I'd guess Grande cheese. Not too salty and not greasy. The crust is perfect. Not too thick and not too thin. Slight char on the bottom, crispy and doughy with flavor. That's what makes a perfect pizza, the blend of flavors. As for the food. With a heavy mound of onions and mushrooms on top, the grits ended up feeling dry and pulled all the moisture out of the bite. The flavor itself was fine, just lacking moisture and balance. We also ordered the scallops and risotto. The risotto was the standout. Bright, fresh finish, great texture, and not overpowering. The scallops, unfortunately, were the opposite. They had a noticeably strong smell right away, which usually means they're not as fresh as they should be, especially at a $40 price point. We took them home, but every time we opened the fridge the smell hit us, so they ultimately went in the trash. Despite this particular experience, we've always enjoyed this place. Service is consistently great, drinks are solid, and we usually leave happy. Hoping this was just an off evening, because we genuinely like coming here.
