About a year ago, my car started stalling out at stop lights whenever the AC was on. I've brought the car to John's Auto Pros I believe it's five times now over the past year. One time, they said they were able to replicate the problem, but most of the time they don't seem to be able to. I have a hard time understanding that. When they look at it, it seems to work for a few weeks or even a couple of months, and then it starts happening again. After the first work they did to resolve the problem, they didn't charge me for their labor. That was nice. But it's frightening being at a stoplight and having the care die. Thankfully, it seems to restart each time so far. But I won't be able to use the AC, which is horrible in this hot weather. Now, Javier, their service manager, is telling me he doesn't have time to look at it again and is sending me somewhere else. I'm very disappointed that they don't seem to be standing up to the guarantee they have on their work. I expected better. I guess there is a limit to their expertise. I can recommend them for regular service, but perhaps not for anything unusual or difficult. read more

So i came here to get my brakes checked since it was makeing a squeekie noise as i slowly stopped. I ended up having bad back breakes and a leakage got it fixed and I am very happy and feel better now that im driving save. I had originally left a good review but I'm kind of upset now! They didn't put my wheel lock back in my car and now I have to pay to get a new one. Normally I wouldn't know who to blame in a situation like this but I brought them my BRAND NEW car for a flat tire. It had NEVER been touched by anyone else except for them. I go to get a rotation a month later at a different shop and they tell me I don't have the wheel lock. I call the shop and of course, they say they don't have it. So annoying. They were literally the only people who have EVER worked on my car. If you want to wait two hours for a tire repair and have your shit stolen, come here. read more

I've been taking my car here ever since I got it, and been coming here since it was big o tires. This last experience with them i took my car in to get a tire repair or replaced. Talked to Michael and he got it repaired for me free of charge. He said there was teo nails in it and that in should probably get it changed out soon. He didnt have any tires that day. So I brought my car in the next day to replace both back tires (rear passenger had the holes in it and repaired the day before) get my car back. The next day I noticed the didnt replace my back tires they replaced both my front tires. They needed to be replaced anyways. But they tried to upsell me on everything. My coolant light came on and I pulled in here because it was the first place I could find. I was helped immediately, and the employee who had greeted me refused to take any payment for his help or the coolant. I was simply warmly wished well and sent on my way. Yesterday I took my car in for an oil change. They were very friendly to me on the phone and very friendly to me when I went in. I'm a single woman that lost my job due to the Covid. They tried to upsell me, of course. When I wasn't having it, because I know they were full of crap ( I have friends that are mechanics). They totally tried to scam me and hit me with a $600 estimate. When I wasn't going to buy into it the owner lady was completely rude to me. So rude that the guy that works for her apologized when he saw what she did. I would not recommend this place... They're not nice and are just trying to take advantage of people. Time we're in right now is not the time to be doing that to someone. AND My car is making a weird noise since I left there. John S. is not only fantastic but he has a team to match. I got Chris at the front desk and he made it easy for me. Now this was no regular tire job: I brought my own rims, which I had cleaned of all dirt and rubber, and new Westlake tires from Amazon. The whole team was very cool with it and treated me no different as those who were buying premium tires there. I was in and out in an hour, with my tires mounted and balanced and this was on a busy Saturday afternoon. John beat all tire shops in the area for the price and INCLUDED new stems at no extra charge. Could I ask for more? Yes. Would I feel like a total a*hole* doing so? Yes. This was way better an experience than I could ask for. John and his team respected me and my time and I am now a fan. As a shade tree mechanic who takes care of his own fleet of Camrys, some shops treat me different and put me at the bottom of their priority - not John's. This is a 5 star establishment. We did not have a good experience at John's Tire Pros. We took my son's car in for repairs and they replaced the CV joints. Then they told us that the problem was the transmission... and the price tag for that repair was unreasonable. We took the vehicle somewhere else and it turned out to be the wheel bearings, not the transmission. And one of the CV joints was defective (not John's fault) and was installed incorrectly. To their credit, they did reimburse us for the faulty CV joint and the labor for installation. All in all, not a good experience. I got the impression they are more interested in their bottom line than in offering good service to their customers. We will not return. Chris the mechanic, was helpful and honest. He told it to us straight. Kudos to him for his honesty. He was the best thing about Johns. read more

I went there for a regular service. The lady in the front desk tells me my car needs new rotors, brake pads, tires, and brake fluids which all amounted to a bit over $2000. My car is fairly new and I was shocked to hear that it needed all that. I went to the NISSAN dealer for a second opinion. It turned out that these guys were honest only about the tires which indeed needed to be replaced. The rest was still in good condition. I came here replacing my company cars tires that were slashed. The facility is clean, staff attire was sharp, service to replace all tires was very quick. They ordered my tires from a warehouse a few miles away and properly installed it in a little less than an hour while their whole garage was full of cars being worked on. I went to John's for an oil change when they noticed my front, passenger side brake pad was essentially nonexistent due to a frozen caliper. They showed me the issue and did not patronize me as if I knew nothing about cars. This was a huge selling point for me as a woman, since men often assume women do not know anything about vehicles. Wow absolutely the worst! Went in because car was squeaking, told me it was the rotors, bought new ones and now my car sounds even worse ! I came back to let them know and they couldn't even come up with a valuable explanation!! Some lady with a thick accent said "you need new rotors" lady I just bought them from you and they're even worse! Almost $400 down the drain! A bunch of scammers!!!! Avoid this place please ! Update: Went to another mechanic and got the calipers taken out and found out they added grease instead of silicone!! Pure damn idiots there ! The mechanic had to scrub it off, then added the silicone and guess what no more screeching. Save your money because there are definitely no sign of pros here! read more

These guys are AMAZING. I had no idea my regular mechanic was lying to me about a bunch of work I "needed" but when my brakes went out, I wound up at John's Tire Pros, and thank the Lord for that. They fixed the other guy's work, and it turned out I didn't even need new brake pads and shoes at all... My abs cylinder was just leaking fluid! Chris just replaced my fluid and tightened some screws and didn't even charge me. Dude is a scholar and a gentleman.This is where you want to get your car work done. My grandmother had been coming to take her car here for at least ten years. Manny and Pablo took such good care of her and she felt like she could really trust what they suggested when it came to her repairs. She went in to have an oil change this past weekend and gave the cashier her license. She simply asked if Manny or Pablo were working that day and the cashier handed her license back to her and said "I don't think you're going to be happy here". THEY REFUSED HER SERVICE!!! How is a business going to turn away a customer that has been loyal for 10 years?! To me that's just not smart and when there's so many other places to take your car you can guarantee we will take our business elsewhere. read more

Worst repair shop ever. Repair failed, causing new half axle to go bad. Tried to address original repair with management only to be denied, and treated like I was the one to blame for their sub-standard work. Now not only does the repair need to be repaired, but another half axle must be installed because their botched work ruined the work done after John's screwed it up. This shop was purchased last year and the new owner truly cares about the service they provide. As a result of a poor service ethic of the last owner I experienced a loss of 2 tires in the last 18 months. The new owner is very conscientious and has been willing to do everything in his power to rectify the problems with tires I purchased from the previous owner and even replaced my stem caps today because one went missing in the process. My tire issues have since been resolved and I would highly recommend this business for all of your tire service needs! read more

I went here for the convenience initially of being down the street from my home. I popped in & asked the cost for my tires, alignment, & rotation, & within 10-15 minutes he had all the info to me! and accurate to my GMC Yukon. The gentleman was very polite & courteous. Set an appt for next day at 10:30am, they called me in the morning before 8am, letting me know that the tires where their early & I was welcome to come in earlier. I waited for my GMC to be finished, enjoyed the free wifi, got work done, & before I knew it I was out of there. PRETTY AWESOME! way better than having to spend the whole day at the dealer. I had some tires mounted on some rims and new valve stems installed, when I got home one of the tires was flat. I returned to the shop and the owner said the rims were rusty and needed to be cleaned and I would be charged for the time to do so. I stated That I paid $45 for the work and the rims should have been inspected and cleaned of any rust or dirt prior to installing valve stems and tires, their response was not friendly so I will never do business there again ! read more

Didnt have time to patch a tire and wanted to charge $20 then they got upset I said I was going somewhere else said they'd take a look at it saw it for a second and said not repairable and no one would do it then walked away. I went to HDC and they gave me a tire for $30 said they'd patch it for $10. Would not recommend John's tire pros to anyone. read more
