JOHN IS THE BEST MECHANIC, HANDS DOWN!!!! He's friendly, honest, and downright trustworthy. I've taking my cars to other independent and corporate mechanic shops, but those places have never called me into their shop and showed me exactly what was wrong with my cars and how and what they'll be using to resolve the issue. This was my first visit at John's shop. I usually go to Firestone, pep boys, or some other place but I really didn't have the money to spend $500 on just getting my breaks done. I got on yelp to see affordable shops and requested a quote. John responded to my quote immediately. He gave me his quote and I was stunned. This price was the best I've ever been quoted for brakes. I went into John's shop because my brake pads were worn out and was making an extremely loud sound when I braked. John didn't know if I needed to only replace my break pads or if the rotors needed to be replaced as well. Once he did know, he called me to the back to show me where my rotors were damaged. He then showed me the back tires and told me to prevent the rotors from being damage to replace the pads soon to save money. I've replaced brake pads and rotors more times than I can count and John has been the most reasonable and affordable service than anyone else. What really blew my mind it took him less than 30 mins to do the job and I was out of there. Normally for others it's like 2 hours. I will be back to John over and over and over. John was a good and honest person to talk and do business with. I had a misfire in my 1997 ford mustang and needed to replace the spark plugs. He thoroughly checked and work on it and also replaced the coils. I was charged a very reasonable fee for both the parts and labor far lesser than those I talked about the problem. I needed valve cover seals done on my Infiniti M45 which is a v8 and I knew the job was a pain. John responded very quickly and gave me an exceptional price (almost too good to be true!), made additional recommendations, and held to the price throughout. It was very clear when I pulled up that he was very familiar with my vehicle which you don't really see any more, and immediately showed me visually where the leak was with his flashlight. He was able to take my car in on Monday morning to perform a full diagnosis. It ended up being a misfired cylinder and needing my spark plugs, ignition coil replaced. I had my Honda Accord checked out at a dealership due to a check engine light. I was told I needed all 3 CATS replaced. Dealer price for parts and service were through the roof. Decided to purchase 2 cats online for cheaper price and submitted a request on Yelp for a quote for install. I heard from John's Auto Service the next day and was given a very reasonable quote. I let him know when parts were arriving and he was able to schedule me in within the next day. I was even able to drop off the evening prior as he has later business hours. The following day I text John to see how things were going and he promptly responded on what he had completed in repairs and that he was still getting a code for EGR valve. He stated it was clogged so he would need to clean it and would let me know the outcome. I was worried that I might need that replaced also. I was expecting the car back the next day. He text me before 7 pm letting me know it was ready and all good to go. I was surprised he was still at shop that late and said he would be there till 8pm. We got there and John not only explained the repairs but also showed us the old parts and visually showed us the failure. We also discussed other recommended services to maintain the vehicle. So I currently drive a 2008 Lexus RX350 and I took my car to the dealership to get an interior detail and a oil change. Couple days later I get a call from them that I need to replace my front lower control arms and sway link stabilizer bars. Lexus quote me about $4-$5k to get them replace.
