We read on various Galveston sites that beach umbrella rentals are available so we came prepared to pay for this service. As soon as you sit down, someone comes up and tells you the cost of the service. My husband was still getting our other child so the gentleman said he'd be back in a few minutes since they did not accept Apple Pay. My only complaint is not offering a military, senior or half day discount; however, it's worth paying for the sake of convenience for those unplanned beach days or when you don't want to lug around all the gear. read more

Very convenient service for anyone visiting. Having paid the full day chair and umbrella rental fee, we could only stay for about an hour before heading back. There was a very nice family near us with 2 small kids that we thought we could let them have the remainder of the rental for the day; however the guy overseeing the chairs refused it and said that they would have to pay as well. I understand that you need to rent out chairs to make a profit but it was already paid for the day. Who cares who is using it! Not a fan of their business model, but otherwise good rental. read more

This business is very rude. They threw our things all over the sand during their pickup as we were standing right there trying to move everything out of their way. When we called them on it the answer from then was we have great reviews on yelp. Well not today. They could have at east apologized. There are rules and then there is just being a jerk. While i respect the fact these guys run a business but today we took our first trip to stewart beach and we brought our dog. We happen fo sit next to one of these guy's chair and umbrella rentals. Ater 4 times this guy came up to harass us to move our dog sitting halfway in the shade, then we noticed him walking around going up to everyone on the beach. Not a good business and I will be posting this to multiple sites as well to stear clear of this business because they completely ruined out visit to Stewart Beach and will not be coming back. All of them are jerky and that's what how they run their business is to harass everyone on the beach. read more

This weekend my family went to Galveston and wanted to rent from this company 35$ for an umbrella and 2 chairs. I'm former navy with disabled tags on my truck and veteran stamp on my drivers license. I simply asked one of the kids if they offered a discount for veterans. (Doesn't hurt to ask.) He replied no Sr. Unfortunately we dont. At the same time an older heavy set man late 50s asked me to repeat myself so I did so. He responded no we don't do anything special for any one. As mad as that one comment mad me I still rented from the company only for the fact that my girlfriend is 8 months pregnant. I will never rent anything from this company again ever. read more

I brought my mom who was visiting from out of state to the beach here in galveston. My mom is 61 yrs old and has cancer. When we got there she sat down on one of the chairs and some guy who looked like a homeless man told her she couldn't sit there because the chair was a rental. So she told him my dad, who was a short distance behind us, would pay when he got there; however the guy told her to get out of the chair. Then, when my dad tried to pay him he wouldn't accept the money and just said we weren't allowed to use his chair. Needless to say, it was definitely not the enjoyable beach trip we had in mind and not only will we not be returning I will tell everyone I know what a crock galveston beach is and not to go there!
