I also wasn't going to be charged anything if the door panels brought out weren't compatible, despite the distance. The work was done, it was done well and the quoted price was it, no hidden fees or anything else when it came time to cut the check. The work done at my old place was great, in 8 years I never had one issue with the products installed. At my new home I can say the same except for when I damaged it! I'm sure there are cheaper companies out there, I think you get what you pay for. Overhead doors products have been great, they were fast and responsive and willing to work with me when I needed a repair fast.

Based on their great reviews, I contacted Pacific Overhead Door. It was easy to set an appointment to have a serviceman to come out when it fit my schedule. On the appointed day, Rusty showed up on time and was friendly and knowledgeable. Within about 5 minutes he diagnosed the problem and went to work making the sensor adjustments and resetting a keypad I'd asked him to. His service charge fee was very reasonable. Since We established a great customer relationship, Mike has been kind enough to check in once a while to make sure everything was working alright. Lately the door had been making the "machine-gun-like" noise. Mike took a look and said to me: "It's time!". On the next day, Mike showed up on time with all the tools/parts he needed. Since my garage door is in between 7' and 8' standards, he brought extra parts to ensure everything will fit. Mike also double checked all the existing parts were secured. If not, he put in extra screws just to be sure. Which I really appreciate! I watched him replaced the entire unit quickly with great organization. We had some light hearted chats about families and the current pandemic while he did the installation. Then he cleaned up the floor and helped setting up all the controllers, plus downloading the app into my phone. Overall, I'm still very happy with Mike's work. He's reliable, responsive and great to work with. I paid 550 for my new garage opener, and I find the price very reasonable. I have, and will recommend Mike to anyone I know!

Once the door started making squeaky noises when opening and closing, we thought it was time to get it serviced. I left a message, and Fely called me back the same day. Since their computer software had been upgraded since our install, I had to pull our old invoice to give her the information she needed to set up my appointment. She quoted me $220 for the 'tune-up' service. She was able to put me on the schedule for the following week, with a first appointment of the day. We were happy about that. Leroy showed up on time and got right to work. It took him about 45 mins to an hour to complete the tune-up. He let us know our springs would need to be replaced in the near future. He wound one of the two springs to balance the door. He said he didn't feel comfortable winding the other one. When he gave my husband the total bill it was about $80 more than quoted. I confronted him and he said they usually charge an inspection fee. I let him know that Fely never mentioned that. He apologized and asked Fely to credit me back the inspection fee. I was happy they stood by their original quote. Overall a professional experience. Would recommend.
