Had John here today to repair the guts for our big bathroom toilet. Seems a piece was broken and needed replacement. We called John Monday, February 5th, he said he could get to late in the day, but we had another appointment. So, John said he'd come to us first thing Tuesday morning. We'll, that's exactly what he did. He repaired the toilet and snaked out another sink in the house. He was finished within 45 minutes - an hour. He was neat, professional (he even took off his shoes in our house so as not to track in any dirt) & his price was more than fair for his labor and materials. We highly recommend him. All the service people out there, take cue from John on how to run a business! Don't scam your customers for short term gains. You want long term, repeating customers! I've hired John twice already and he is my go-to guy for all my plumbing needs. He is fair on pricing and very professional. He cleans up after the work (plumbing is dirty no matter how hard you try) and making sure the job is done well. The first time (about 6 years ago) he fixed a toilet issue not getting installed correctly, which cause a small leak into the first floor. There were no issues after that. This time I called John immediately (I kept his fridge magnet) after I had a clogged Kitchen sink. I spent all Sunday trying to fix the issue, but to no avail. I finally called John and he came over the next day. He found the issue and unclogged my drain. I learned some things from him on maintaining a clean pipe (don't use Drain-o!) and my steam heating system. I don't think I would hire any other plumbers besides John. He only does work in Nassau County, mainly South Shore and near Westbury. Highly recommend him for all your plumbing needs! read more

Part 1 John was efficient, reliable and extremely helpful for our time in need, which was today during the last of this frigid weather. He came to fix what we thought was a broken pipe and via his thorough investigation, he discovered that the pipe did not burst. Still, he stayed around to help heat the pipe and set up so that it could defrost safely and get our water going again. Part 2: After the thaw continued on the same day John visited, a completely different pipe burst. We call John back and he came to fix the pipe, which was not easy since it was located in a hard to reach part of the house. He was able to solder the pipe together, even when the cold had expanded the pipe to a different circumference then before. Part 3: The following day when things got even warmer, we discovered that the same pipe further down the line had latent pinhole leaks that unearthed, so John again was able to come and replace the whole line in record time. Thanks to him, we figured out the problems and now we have hot water again. If we need his plumbing help in the future, it is no question we will give him a call. read more

He patiently waited while the Town of Hempstead Water Department sent out an employee to turn off the water in the street.
