Ok so here is the deal from a real deal patriot. Johnsons Firearms is an exceptional gun store with an unbelievable assortment of tactical guns and pistols. This to me means nothing if your shop is full rude semi knowledgeable kids because I've been around all too long to give people like that my hard earned dollars. Not here at Johnsons.. Their team is extremely knowledgeable and customer service and going the extra mile is their forte! Mr. Johnson the owner is a stand up entrepreneur that brings an all American spirt to his beautiful showroom, Eric the manager is fair, very straight forward and was interviewed by an international media outfit back during the recent gun debate, Josh is basically an unlimited living technical factory of knowledge regarding EVERYTHING GUNS. Test him if you don't believe me.. I do every time I'm there and he is on point. (Josh-a-pedia) They gave me a great value on a few handguns I sent to my old man out of state, welcomed my yugo under folder transfer with a smile and sold me my 10mm G20 and we're the only ones that had it local. This is the only gun store closest to the beach ever since the sad excuse for a gunstore "GunDepot" closed down. Johnson firearms have a wide selection of not only firearms but everything else that pertains to it including boots, apparel, even an impressive ditch kit for boats that can and will save your life! The Employees there Josh and Eric in particular are well versed in the gun cultures and provide unbiased informative opinions on all firearms. They also aren't trying to upsell you on anything. The owner David Johnson ( tall bald white guy, semi built ) is an upstanding individual who assisted in getting my Class 3 rifle fixed by Spike from Spikes Tactical! Just an update to include additional information since my first experience at Johnson Firearm in 2013 when I purchased my first firearm, a CZ-75 P07 Duty. Because of that great experience, I returned to Johnson Firearm in 2014 to do the safety class for renewal of my concealed weapon permit (which had long expired). I brought my girlfriend with me, and we both took the class. Great experience. Most recently, I was interested in purchasing an AR-15 and returned to Johnson Firearm in 2018. The guy who sold me the original pistol in 2013 was the same guy who sold me a FN15. Again, great experience and I would encourage people to visit this place if you're interested in learning about or purchasing a firearm. These guys are great. I felt like a kid in a candy store while there. They have everything you could ever want, from ammo, to obscure not so common firearms, to suppressors! Everything they sell is top notch quality. If they don't have it in stock they can get it for you. I bought a stripped lower as my first purchase at this store. I could not have asked for a better experience. I was so excited about the store and the endless possibilities that I forgot to ask the sales rep his name. Fortunately he gave me his card at the end. Had an FFL online purchase processed here. Price was fair ($25). The service was amazing. They called me as soon as my pistol arrived. No problems. Ask for Josh, super nice dude. A lot of the gun stores around Miami are run by a*holes but these guys are great. The location on the southern border of Wynwood is hilarious. It's in a fort-like structure. Great store with friendly staff! Excellent selection and if you're a firearms noob like me, the staff will take their time to explain everything you need to know about the pros & cons of the various firearms and equipment they have. I was very impressed with the staff's knowledge & attention to the customer. Every time I go in there with questions, I basically get a free lesson on the subject from an expert. What can I say? This place is amazing. The staff is very informative. It's a 1 stop shop! If they don't carry it, which is seldom,they will order it for you. It's like going into Bass pro shop. You know the right place when you walk into it. With great staff and a variety of equipment this is a must. Although they have decent prices on premium firearms their optics were lacking. The service is great, they treat you like family, but don't go around lunch hour. If I was around downtown and I had to go buy me a FN SCAR or an LWRC I have confidence these guys will hook it up! The best place to shop for firearms in Miami. Their pricing is even competitive with online pricing which is hard to believe. The service there is phenomenal. I bought a glock 19 there and things went great. They beat the much larger BPS by almost 50$ on almost every gun. Living in Miami recently pretty much calls that you own a gun. I walked into this store with no experience or knowledge of guns. The gentleman who helped me explained into great details exactly what I needed for a first time, how to take it apart for cleaning, etc... He did not pressure me into buying anything and instead said whenever your ready, but I was ready after his helpful explanation. I am so happy with my purchase, I never expected to feel this way about guns. I will be coming back for a second one soon. I also recommend their firearm training for the conceal weapons permit. I came here because they were the only shop in south florida to have a CZ P10c in stock. My wife is a Glock lover. I love springfields. I thought this might be good compromise. We weren't convinced and therefore Alec patiently showed us every comparable 9mm in stock until I decided to go with my gut and take the springfield i have been interested in for years. Yes a good selection and the prices are ok and yes Josh is friendly with customers and knowledgeable about guns. But wait until you have a problem with the guns they have sold to you, then no support at all and they become not so customer friendly. I've only dealt with Eric and Josh, but if all employees are as helpful and well informed as these two Johnson Firearms will be around for a very long time!!! These guys are amazing. They don't pressure customers into buying random stuff, when selecting a firearm they go the extra mile to assure you are comfortable with the weapon and it is in fact what you are looking for. Many local shops on one-time sales, not these guys. They focus on creating a long-term relationship with customers. I have bought numerous firearms from them, and other small items. I have yet to have a bad comment about these store. Considering I live within blocks of local gun shops, I prefer to drive twenty minutes to make all purchases with Johnson firearms. The best of the best. Not only do they have the best firearms in town, but the prices are very reasonable and fair.The most badass in florida. Customer service is beyond superb. I came to the store a couple times before I purchased a firearm, and every time I did they let me look at whatever I wanted to and answered my millions of questions happily.
