Definitely one of my faves for the hospitable service, good food and neighborhood vibe! Special thanks to Theresa who was so gracious and sweet last night. All the team is friendly and makes you feel at home!

Food is very good. The soups are homemade. With dinner you get soup and a salad and you could either get a Greek salad or Caesar salad had no extra charge. Also with dinner comes dessert. I especially like that. They are open until 11 on a Friday night.

Whenever we're back in Bucks County, we look forward to a diner breakfast. Sadly, all of our old haunts have closed, except for Golden Dawn. We had Eggs with Scrapple and Eggs with Porkroll, both of which were served with Potatoes and Toast. I had coffee with mine. Our service was fine, about average for a diner -- part of the experience. Golden Dawn is rather large with counter service, booths and tables.

Great food and specials. Huge portions. Excellent service. Traditional interior for a diner.

Looks like a proper diner. Today's special had matzo ball soup. I need to try it. This restaurant had a fire place in it and a big screen tv. Tara is a wonderful waitress. Very attentive to our drinks and needs. We got a hot Rueben and a ham burger and rice pudding. The rice pudding was really really good. Didn't taste like it was made in a factory or out if a can. I was please about that. I wish I heard some oldies music!

Have to say that while it appears to be an amusement park from beyond the fence with massive water slides and multiple aquamarine pools for various uses; from within it makes more sense and is actually quite attractive in a hyperactive way. Happy Hour with half price drinks was a good deal, and the bar food offerings were also well designed to complement the alcoholic drinks, if not all that tasty, nor compelling in their own right. So many people in a relatively small space around the bar, that conversation was a bit challenging. Plenty of alternative distractions among the many "beautiful" folks who enjoy being the center of attention, and know how to do it right, especially when encouraged with beverage. With music playing in the background the experience was a mixed bag. Clearly, the plan is a bit over the top, and made for people with kids or those who like this glitterati experience. Yet, there was a full house that evening, and business was booming. Covid put an end to the crowds for the last year, but I suspect the club will be back in action full tilt come vaccinations and reduced mask wearing. I'm the more cautious type, and will wait a while before accepting my next invitation.

Drift caught our eye and WOW I'm glad it did. With Brunch offerings every Sunday along with live music and endless pastas on Wednesday nights. Drift is raising the bar and is an entire vibe on Mill St. A handful of tables by the bar and a separate dining room or outdoor seating - all unique in their own way and each offer a different feel in the restaurant. Our server was a delight. So excited to tell us all about the place and answer questions along the way. She kept our glasses full all the while tending bar and other tables. The vodka chicken sandwich was well done, tasty and crisp dredged in a thick vodka sauce and adorned with cheese. It did come with tomato but it was a little odd like it just didn't belong. I just added it to my generous side salad (an option instead of fries). This salad was packed full of fresh greens, cukes & tomatoes with a most delightful dressing. His French dip was full of flavor with tender med rare beef delicately sliced thin and high. The au jus that accompanied it was a nice compliment to the sandwich. We sat in a comfy booth with a view of the bar TVs and close enough to enjoy the live musician. A perfect place to grab a quick lunch and we will definitely be back!

The crowd varied from some regulars at the bar to a mix of couples, friends and families in the seating area. I took my son twice for late Monday dinners and found only a few tables occupied. Our server on both visits was a kind and welcoming woman who was helpful with the menu. Their menu covers all of the bases - apps, soups, salads, sandwiches and suppers. They have specials posted on a whiteboard with a small tap list (several beers a few of which are craft). I had fresh Fiddlehead IPA on tap both times. For my first time I ordered the Soprano - Prosciutto, Spicy Capicola, Genoa Salami, Sharp Provolone, Lettuce, Tomato and Onion. Finished with Olive Oil, Vinegar and a Dash of Italian Seasoning. $11 They give a choice of seeded or non and of course I went seeded. I would say it's close to a clone of Mazzanti's classic Italian. I really enjoyed it and would order it again. The home made chips that came with it were fresh and crispy. Second go around I had The "Tip" Sandwich - Seasoned Petite Tenderloin Tips, Sautéed Onion & Mushrooms, American Cheese, Garlic Stick Bread. $14 Delicious portions of tender beef tip, a thick layer of American cheese, and a perfect balance of sautéed onion and mushroom mixed in on that crispy seeded roll made my night . Every bite was on point. My son ordered a cheese burger and said it was very good. He could only eat half and was stuffed. I would certainly return if in the area. My kid was happy we got to relax, chat and watched some college basketball. It's not the most spacious or brightly lit place, but those two sandwiches were great! Thanks guys!!

They can hold 20-500 people for private events according to their website. The inside is dark and could use a bit of a refresh, but I wouldn't say it's close to the level of dive. It's certainly on the larger side compared to most bars in the area. The staff has always been nice, but service can get slow when the crowd size grows. Just the nature of things. Food wise the menu has a typical mix of pub grub - apps, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers and several entrees. A friend was eating their jumbo Buffalo Shrimp off the starter menu and raved about them. I stuck to a Cheesesteak which was average but a deal at $9.50 -- the chopped steak was decent, cheese was good just needed a bit more. Hot peppers gave it some kick and the long roll was fresh. Their beer menu has around a dozen beers on tap. They dabble in more mainstream big beer/craft beer like your Goose Island IPA's/Lagunitas IPA, but do have a decent show of locals like Yards, Victory, Troegs and Weyerbacher. Bourbon wise I had a Knob Creek neat which was average price wise. The pour was on the generous side. Each time I've been here the crowds have been friendly and having a good time. The band we listened to was great and the sound was crisp. Five Four is a family friendly grill during the day and a fun place for adults later at night. Thanks guys!

For one, I don't know her personally, we have never had a conversation outside of her taking my order and quite frankly it's none of her business how my face looks anyway. Second of all how embarrassing is it to be called out in front of a bunch of people like that? I couldn't believe the words that came out of her mouth. Before I left I politely told her I didn't appreciate her calling me out like that and she got very defensive. Not an apology from her, she didn't care one bit. She started arguing with me and acting like I was overreacting and like she didn't do anything wrong. She should take a look at herself in the mirror and think twice before she speaks. I'll never step foot into this bar again.
