I made an appt for skin removal of my upper arms (brachioplasty). I had had an extreme weight loss (100+ pounds) and nothing I could do would help the issue and left me extremely self-conscious especially during the summertime. Dr. Johnson was very professional and kind and listened to my concerns, talked me through the procedure and what to expect. I initially saw her in May and scheduled the actual surgery for January when it would be colder and in between the Christmas and Easter holidays which are my busy times, and I'd have time to recoup and heal prior to the summertime. During the entire process and including post-surgery, all the staff including Carl at the front desk were always very courteous, helpful and responsive to my phone calls or emails. After surgery I had no complications and am healing nicely; minimal fluid for drain output, minimal swelling, and pain was not as bad as I had expected it might be. I was back at work (a desk job) 2 weeks post op, and, as a church musician (piano player) I missed two weekends but attended my first rehearsal at two and a half weeks post op and I was able to play again without issue, which I had been mildly worried about. Actually, I think the hardest part of the whole process was having to sleep in an elevated position and with support of your arms by your side to help the swelling, which as a lifetime side sleeper, made it hard to get as much rest as a would have liked. Although recovery is never fun, I would do this again as I feel like I have a new lease on life, knowing I will no longer have to hide myself and feel embarrassed about my arms. After all the hard work I put into losing weight, I finally feel much better in my own skin. I thank Dr. Johnson for her beautiful work that has impacted me so positively both physically and emotionally. read more

I had an arm lift done in February 2020. I expected all the loose skin to be taught and that I would have normal looking arms. I had waited many years to have the surgery and I was so excited to hopefully be able to wear sleeveless shirts of shorter sleeves. This was not what I got. I went back twice for follow up exam and addressed this and I was told nothing could be done to fix the still untaught arms. I thought only one surgery would have been enough. My insurance paid for the first surgery and I was told I would have to pay for the second surgery. I have horrible scars that I did not anticipate either. I had a knee replacement a year ago and that scar is barely visible. I cannot wear sleeveless shirts or shorter sleeves. After this surgery I am still without taught arms and I am still buying shirts past the elbow which is what I was doing before the surgery and of course to hide the scars. I did not feel like I had a good experience and it took me 2 years to write this review because everyone else is so happy with her. I am so sad that I did not get what I went there for. It cause me the same sadness I had before the surgery. I am embarrassed of my arms, scars and it did nothing to help my self esteem it made it just as bad as I had struggled with before. I am not confident to wear a bathing suit without a shirt over is. My scars are so bad and the arms are still flabby. This doctor is apparently proficient in other things but my arm lift was a botch. read more

Highly recommend Dr Melissa Johnson and her PA Christina. They are both personable, friendly and comforting! I had breast reduction surgery about a month ago and was very nervous but I truly can't say enough wonderful things about my experience. They made it so I felt comfortable, knowledgeable about the process, and excited going into surgery. I am so beyond happy with my results and how quickly I am healing. It was incredibly uncomfortable. He finally said that he'd have to put drains back in, I said, back in? Drains? He looked at his notes and said," I forgot to put drains in" !!!! This was the first I was hearing about any drains!!! I was being prodded, invaded by him getting the liquid out of my stomach 3 times a week, when I didn't have to, because, he, "forgot"? To this day, 7 years later, I have hardened scar tissue, that I have been unable to break up. Needless to say, I was not one of the people that an," after" photo was taken.

New England Dermatology either was not aware what post-surgical implications of mohs surgery on the…read morescalp are, or misled me about expectations. An uninformed patient cannot provide proper consent. Had I known that I would be in excruciating pain for more than a week, unable to move facial muscles, chew properly, ambulate, shower without tears, speak without pain, or sleep a night without waking up in pain, I would not have consented to this surgery. Only after a call to the office a week later did I learn that the scalp is complicated and presents these issues. I was never told to expect to miss days from work, and was assured that there are not a lot of nerves on the scalp and that it would not be painful. Even when the scalp was being pulled and stitched, and I directly asked, "this really feels like it will hurt a lot later, what can I expect?" I was assured that it would not. Be your own advocate. Get another opinion.

My nails are pretty square so I just asked for a light filing. It turned out square just how I like it. The cuticle cutting was good. No cuts or pokes. She was very careful. The color I picked first was a sheer pink (059??). It was way too clear. So the nail tech let me change the color. As she painted the first coat, I was skeptical because it wasn't super clean strokes but that's to be expected. The second coat was much cleaner. I had some issues with the lumpiness on my thumb but she fixed it right away. Overall, the service was great, the tech was really nice. Paid $26.59 ($25 + service fee). I didn't check the menu. I think my service was $22 looking at a menu on here but not sure if the prices changed!

I was in town visiting family and decided to walk in while we were waiting for our EV to charge at…read morethe DMV. When I arrived, all techs were busy, which was fine, and I waited for over 20 minutes before they led me to the pedi chair, where the water was filling. I must have waited almost an hour in the pedi chair for someone to begin with me - the water got cold. My tech made my toe bleed cutting too deep into the cuticle, which was a bummer. And then the same happened with two fingers. I asked her not to trim my cuticle base because it gives me hangnails, and she did anyway, so here I am a week later with ragged nails. I will say - the gel polish itself is holding up well but my fingers and toes felt wrecked, not rejuvinated after these treatments. It was a bummer because the women running the business seem very friendly. I also sat in this shop long enough to notice it needs a serious deep clean - dust and nail residue abound and it would be much nicer after a total once-over. All this said, they seemed to have a loyal clientele as there was a trickle of visitors over the long stretch of time that I was there. With tweaks, this could be a spot worth returning to, but it was a disappointment on this visit.

I shot off a cold email to Radiance, and Kelly responded personally right away with a detailed and straight-forward response that put me at ease and led me to chose this spa over the many others I was googling. I've since gone back a handful of times for various treatments. As someone who does a lot of research I can tell you that you can NOT beat these prices for this incredible value. I will now schedule all my treatments around my visits back to my folks' house!

Followed by some product to help with results. The girl who applied the treatments for me was very nice, we talked for a good amount and she also massaged me. HIGHLY RECCOMEND!!! The staff is welcoming and the space is clean, comfortable, and smells wonderful. Megan gave me a microdermabrasion facial that made my skin look 10 years younger. And I've never had a healthcare worker that actually cares as much as he does. I actually enjoy when I have my appointment and look forward to it. He has a way of calming me down and sets me in the right direction. I also feel very comfortable around him because he's very down-to-earth. I thought that going to the eye doctor was a type of mundane, forgettable activity that you do when you get the reminder in the mail. After visiting this office twice, I will definitely do some research before choosing my next optometrist. Everything about this office is awful, from the dirtiness of the waiting room, the rudeness and ineptitude of the office staff, to the ridiculous amount of time you are forced to wait for your scheduled appointment. I found Dr. Devine's associate, Dr. Gonzalez to be very rude, patronizing and unprofessional, especially when she refused to give me my prescription after my eye exam, so that I can't order contacts online. I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially when there are so many other options in this area. Try anywhere else.
