We absolutely love Joint Bagel. We especially enjoy the Pumpernickel everything bagel (which is nicely seeded on both sides of the bagel) and Jalapeño cheddar bagel (which has just the right balance of cheese and jalapeños). Our fav cream cheeses are the veggie (which is loaded with flavor / veggies while still feeling on the lighter side) and the olive (when we want something a little on the briny side). What sets this place aside from having the best bagels is the quality service and the care that the employees seem to share in working together (which seems to be a rarity these days). My 3 goldens, chihuahua and I go through the drive thru a few times a week and everyone greets us with smiles (even when going in the early morning) and they genuinely seem happy to see us. Even from the drive thru window - it's easy to see the positive teamwork they share and display each time. I never worry if I need to check the bag before leaving - our order is right EVERY time. Bagels-done-right! Boiled and heavily seeded...on BOTH sides! Coffee is strong and fully caffeinated. Their vegetable cream cheese is chock full of veges. Oh my. I had a major bagel craving this morning and drove almost 30 minutes to get here. It was absolutely worth it. I had a bacon egg and cheddar on a plain bagel with light cream cheese. It was so so good and was ready so quick! The food and service were both 5 star. (I am massively pregnant and someone came out from behind the counter just to open the door for me. These are excellent bagels and I am told by northeasterners that these are the way bagels are supposed to be made. My favorite bagel is a pumpernickel everything but they don't carry it normally. However, they are happy to make one for me if I place my order the day before. That's perfectly fine with me because typically I know the day before that I want one. If it's a last-minute decision then of course I will go for an everything bagel. I always get the lox cream cheese. This has the lox mixed into the cream cheese-delicious! read more

Thought we had finally found our bagel place. However, out of 4 trips here, the only time we were able to actually get our bagels was the 1st time here - after that they had run out by 10:30 or were closed. It's a shame they can't make enough bagels for their customers to stay open until 1pm. I hate writing this review because the guys that work there are super nice, but what good is a bagel place that has no bagels to sell? Our search will continue. Sorry guys. read more

We called our order in and went to pick it up. They said it was only a 15 minute wait. We arrived about 20 minutes later and I waited paid and waited 15 minutes. Finally I asked where my food was. They said it's not ready. I said okay we'll I haven't heard you guys yell anyone's name and there's a ton of bags here. How do people know when their foods ready? He said oh we do yell it out. The guy next to me shook his head and said my food should've been ready 30 minutes ago and I'm still standing here. Finally I saw my food being made and instead of bagging it up- it was pushed to the back of a pile of bagels and they continued making orders. How about you ask what customers have paid and are standing in front of you and prioritize their food?! I had my husband and hungry kids in the car. My kids are calling me asking where the food was. Finally I said I just need a refund I can't wait any longer. Instead of the manager even checking to see if my food was ready he said okay and refunded my order. What TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I said I saw them make our order and he just ignored me. There was absolutely no organization. Not to mention I was already going to walk out with how much cross contamination and violations I saw. The cook making the eggs didn't have gloves on and touched the eggs to flip them. The bagel personnel would wear gloves and would touch the computer screen and drawers. One of the other personnel was making a bagel and opened up her shirt, violently coughed inside it and went back to making her bagel. WE WILL NEVER RETURN. I love this bagel shop! It's super clean inside and the staff is fast and friendly (especially the guy with the curly hair). The owner is always there and he's nice, too. After eating a everything, a sesame, and part of my daughters blueberry bagel; I must say it's the closest thing to NYs best bagels. I'm very happy they are just outside my home. Bagels were very tasty. We got half a dozen for $6.50. I suggest they run specials in terms of price. Buy 6 1 free and buy 12 3 free. That's how it normally is. We will try cookies next time.
