    Egg and Cheese Sandwich
    Diele K.

For work, I've been sent to Jacksonville to open up a new site. One morning, I found myself craving a bagel breakfast sandwich. Uber eats listed this location, and having jalapeño bagel flavors always entices me to try. Uber eats delivered to my office fairly quickly, and made my morning to be able to kick back, relax and enjoy a sandwich. Overall, it's not the best bagel I've had and I didn't care for the brand of orange juice but it was pretty solid. Plan to try other locations, but not opposed to trying again.

    * Bagel with flavor cream cheese ( They didn't added the flavor cream cheese I asked for. Gave me plain ) with a cinnamon raisin bagel tasteless . * Fruity Pebbles Waffle was yummy! ( Can't go wrong with Fruity Pebbles ) * Holey Moley Sandwiches was tasteless and flavorless. Rather go to Einstein Bagels way better!

The flavor of the overall sandwich was good. There were just some aspects lacking... One thing I don't appreciate is hidden fees. I don't recall seeing anything about up charge for choice of bagel or cream cheese choice but there sure was... The person who took our order was lackluster, I'm not sure if it was his confusion on how to operate the register or just a bad day but felt like we were inconveniencing him by being there. Overall the lox was good and fresh, the bagel is pretty dense and could have been benefitted from extra toasting but it wasn't bad The decor is a little dingy, not sure if that's part of the older building status quo or what. If we were nearby we'd try again but we definitely wouldn't go out of our way to eat here.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. You walk in and can see the bagel display right away. Then you order at the counter and they bring out the order to you. I was able to order right away. Got an Asiago everything bagel ( two of my favorites in one! ) with cream cheese and a fountain drink. It came out to $8.05 which I felt was expensive. The bagel came out warm with the cream cheese already on. The cream cheese was thicker than the half of the bagel. Which isn't my favorite but it was tasty. The bagel was soft and chewy even lightly toasted. The inside is pretty sparse with decorations and there was an empty deli case and a beverage case that was out if order. It seemed clean in the dining area and the open kitchen area. It was good but just be aware it was a bit pricy.

    Stop work orders and door.

How is this place still in business? It looks disgusting. The walls are boarded up with wood. There are THREE "cease and desist" notices on the front door! From November of 2024! This place is a potential hazard and they have no permit. Orders also state there are electrical issues?

I hate, no, strongly dislike having to get up early to do software releases, especially on an empty stomach. Usually the boss will bring in donuts and bagels from a well-known chain but this doesn't happen for beta releases. I should though haha. Both me and my manager were hungry and he asked me if I was going to order break fast (his exact words) and from where. I wasn't immediately sure so after scrolling UberEats I saw a suggestion for this business. I literally said, "I can order delivery from Holey Moley? I've been hearing about them for at least 2 years!" This was my chance. We both got a bagel sandwich. I got the ham, egg, and smoked gouda cheese on a blueberry bagel while he got a sausage, egg, and cheddar cheese on a jalapeno asiago bagel. I really liked my bagel! That was the softest, chewiest, bagel I've ever had. He said that his was alright and that it didn't have enough seasoning for his palate since it is so sophisticated haha. He exaggerates though and we'll order from them again.

Just Ok. Definitely not a fancy place but they make a good bagel . The plaza feels empty as does the store. The staff was very nice and gave me a cookie with my bagel. I was looking for a quiet place to read but the radio was to loud for me.

Recently opened and last I visited last week, was told that they were still in soft opening phase. So on my 1st visit, I ordered some breakfast items as well as any available bagels they had in store. Fast forward another week, and it looks like they got more stuff in place. I say give them another 2 weeks or so and they should be fully operational. If you some Uglies, aka Apple Fritters, theirs are pretty good...where an Uglies never tasted so Pretty. This and along with their breakfast items and of course, the bagels. Holey Moley good. #SupportLocal

I wanted to try this place for a while because they said it was like NY bagels and it wasn't. The service for the person at the counter was great and the place looked clean, but my bagel was not toasted and there was too much cream cheese for my liking. I will be giving them a second try soon.

The staff who was angry that I was saying "hello" to get some assistance.

came to this store and was ignored until I had to say "hello" multiple times and when the lady came out she was very rude saying "we are busy I will cancel your order". definitely not eating here, poor customer service.

I ordered from the Dynamic Duo (sandwich & soup combo) menu. I picked the Reuben and Chicken Tortilla Soup because it's been a minute since I've had either. The Reuben was good with my one critique being that I could've used a little more Thousand Island on it. The soup was good as well and not too spicy. I always order Chicken Tortilla and hope for the best because I've had it swing way past my threshold for heat but this didn't. It has a kick for sure but not too bad. My wife ordered the Hot Honey Chicken & Yolk Biscuit Sandwich. She really liked it with the biscuit itself exceeding what she expected. Like me, her only small issue with that she liked that hot honey so much, she would've liked a little more on it. That's something she knows to ask for next time though, so no biggie. We sat at the bar and service was great from everyone we interacted with. This was out third time here since they opened. My wife pointed out that she liked her first visit and this one better than the second. She had a regular platter the second time, so she thinks sticking with their specialties is the best way to go. My friend ordered us the Pork Belly Kimchi Fries, I got us an order of the Cheese Curds, and for my entree I got an order of the Asian Sticky Wings. I probably would have never ordered the kimchi fries on my own. Sometimes kimchi can be fickle and really hit or miss. It was definitely a hit here. More on the sweet and tangy side but worked really well. Fries seasoned perfectly, and the pork belly cubed and cooked to perfection. Out of all of the times I've been to Wicked Barley, these fries have to be one of the best items I've had from there. Cheese curds were pretty basic. Tasted great, but nothing to write home about. If you like Cheese curds, you'll enjoy theirs. I originally had my eye on the jerk chicken wings and I was warned by the waitress and my friend that they are REALLY hot. Jerk chicken is generally one of those thats right on the borderline of too hot for me. To give you an idea, if you're familiar with Butthutt BBQ's jerk chicken, theirs is as far as I can go for spice level. So I switched it up to be safe, and I am glad I did. Sweet and sticky, these had really great flavor inside and out. Would definitely get these again in the future. Brought a couple home to the hubby and he seemed to enjoy them too, and he normally doesn't like, what he refers to as, "sweet meat". I had three different beers in my favorite tasting style, sour. I had the PB&J sour, the mango sour, and the orange cream sour. The orange cream was my favorite of the 3. We enjoyed the sounds of the band Splittone in the background and enjoyed the whole vibe of our meal. I'm hoping to visit again on a future weekend and possibly bringing one of my pups along with me since they are dog friendly.

The ambience is certainly in the deli space, and from the outside it doesn't look like much, but inside doesn't look like much either. But the food sets it apart. OK, I've talked about food, so I'm sure you wanna hear about it (if you're still reading): Tzatziki sauce - homemade made really well done. Fries - extra crispy with a hint of salt, and I'm not a big fry person, but I love these. Potato salad - delightful side, can't go wrong. Gyro Wrap - marinated lamb, so tender you can cut it with a fork, wrapped in a pita. Gyro Platter - the same as the sandwich, but with pita chips and may be a little more lamb. I really couldn't believe how tender the lamb was, and how well it was spiced. I think my son and I were both shocked at how good the food was. Now, don't go expecting some eyebrow food, this is a deli. There's burgers, they're sandwiches, but I would stick to the Middle Eastern food that they serve because I think they really do it well. .
