We shared a giant cinnamon roll which was delicious, crispier than I'd have imagined but very tasty. Husband's breakfast burrito was great, and filling. I got the Hat Trick breakfast basics of scrambled eggs (weirdly flat, not fluffy), sausage patties which were very tasty, and biscuit and gravy; the biscuit was delicious but the gravy was underseasoned, surprisingly. We made a reservation. Didn't really need it, but it was nice having one. Place is kind of 50's Diner themed, but the menu is kind of Texmex-mixed with diner food. I got the full biscuits and gravy, but was still a tad hungry. My bacon was perfect. My SIL let me eat a quarter of her waffle. That helped satisfy my hunger a little. We went for lunch on Friday, excited to try this place! Upon walking in, you are hit with a strong smoke smell, from the cigar bar next door. Unfortunately this was pretty offsetting, though I'm not sure what could be done to change that besides moving locations honestly. We were greeted by staff immediately, and sat right away. They were friendly and accommodating throughout the dining experience! Smash Burgers were delicious, but didn't necessarily stand out compared to other restaurants. Fries were a huge disappointment, the oil tasted pretty old and they were greasy as all get out. The ranch on the salad and as a side for fry dipping was nothing to write home about. We popped into Jojo's just by chance when another brunchy location fell through - and never have I been happier with a diverted plan! When we walked in, the first thing we noticed is that the ambiance was very cool, with neon lights and fun satirical breakfast-themed movie murals all around. Once we sat down, we tried several dishes, to feel out and find what we liked the best (as we already were assuming we might be back if it was good, due to its close proximity to our house). Items we tried! -Giant cinnamon roll: This is a flat, pancake-style cinnamon roll, and I never would have believed how good this would be. The flat nature of it means you get all the delicious topping of a cinnamon roll without the bready middle parts (Seinfeld reference: top o' the cinnamon roll to you!) It's laaaaarge so definitely shareable between 2-3 people. -Horchata pancakes: This is more of a dessert than a normal breakfast pancake, but yummmm! The pancakes themselves are really well made, and then they're topped with an horchata glaze and some candy-like caramelized bananas. -Breakfast chimichanga: For a more savory breakfast option, this was an great choice. It is HUGE, for one thing, and is full of potatoes, eggs, salsa, and my favorite thing ever - hollandaise! -Jojo's B&G: My husband is a big fan of biscuits and gravy, so we also added a side of them. I didn't get to snap a photo, because they went so fast! As a biscuits and gravy connoisseur, he said "these are some of the best I've ever had." And to top off the wonderful experience, the service was also outstanding. We had a group of about 10 (including two kids) and the server was very patient with all of our orders and magically kept everything straight when the checks came at the end of the meal (very impressive). We are loyal Good Lookin' customers, but decided it was time to deviate from the norm and try a new breakfast spot. Upon arrival we noticed immediately that the place was filthy. Silverware on the floor, tables not cleaned off, wait staff standing around aimlessly doing nothing. We decided to look past the obvious and order some food. Our waitress informed us that they only had water or coffee and that orange wasn't "working" right now. We have no idea what that meant, but opted for just water. We went for the basics, pancakes, eggs and bacon. A simple no-brainer. It took 25 minutes to get our food and by the time the plate hit our table the eggs were already cold. Syrup? We asked for it, but she never came back to the table so we literally went up to the counter and got it on our own. Also worth noting that the restaurant was freezing! Everyone had their winter jackets on while they were eating and rightfully so. When I passed by the counter (to get the syrup!) the thermostat read 63 degrees. We found Jojo's after driving past it over the weekend and decided to stop in for lunch, and wow are we glad we did! It's right across from the Eagle Run Golf Course, so it's hard to miss. The atmosphere is a very relaxed vibe, with big open space and casual music. It has a brunch feel, but offers full menu options! My wife and I decided to share two entrees so we could try a few different things. They had a fried chicken honey biscuit slider special that we couldn't say no to, and my wife wanted to try the coconut chicken salad. First the sliders: Hot, fresh and homemade biscuits topped with a honey glaze filled with fried chicken, bacon, egg and cheese. What's more to love? They were some of the best chicken sliders we've ever had! The chicken salad is on their normal menu and was a semi typical garden salad, but their coconut chicken is what makes this salad stand out. Flaky, coconut breaded chicken slices complete this salad out making it very filling. Overall, we were very pleased with our visit. Our group arrived at 12:15 to a near empty restaurant. There were 12 of us. The waitress was pleasant enough but after we got our water and placed our orders (which were rather simple, soup, sandwiches, and scrambled eggs) we waited over 40 minutes with no food in sight, The two people in the kitchen did not seem to move or make any indication that they were preparing food. I had a great time at Jojo's today! I decided to have my birthday lunch there with a friend and they did not disappoint. The service by Cara was great. She was very accommodating and on top of everything. I appreciated the friendly service with a smile. The food was also really good. I had a burger and fries, which was excellent. I recently decided to try JoJo's West since I was in the area. To my surprise, I was the only diner, which is fine for me, but not the employees or business. It's an airy, attractive space with a varied menu. I chose blueberry pancakes because...blueberries! It was huge with three large pancakes, lots of blueberry compote, and whipped cream. It was very rich and too much for me. I could easily have shared. The coffee was really good and I liked the music they had playing, but it would have been too loud if more people were there. A group of friends and I dined at JoJo's last night and had a great experience. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and we received excellent service from our server, Sara. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and clearly working hard to make sure everyone was taken care of. While a few of the drinks we initially ordered were unavailable, Sara was quick to offer great alternatives and handled it with professionalism and a smile. Checked out, Jojo's Diner, the west location. We've been to the Benson one when it first opened but haven't been to either since, so it was definitely time to check back in. The inside was decorated very fun with a Pulp Fiction theme. We went on a Friday afternoon for lunch and were unfortunately the only two people there for quite some time. We started with a Creamsicle Mimosa and avocado toast. The avocado toast had a lot of flavor, nice acidity from the balsamic vinaigrette, and a slight spiciness from a cream sauce. I ordered the Papas Chingon which had potatoes, eggs and short ribs. Overall it was good, but I would probably keep trying other things on the menu next time. Oh boy! Omaha, if you weren't aware, Jojos Diner - West will be opening on 4/5/22. My wife and I had the pleasure of attending their soft opening and we experienced great flavors! My wife was loving the pot stickers which were served with tiny chips, and large thick cut bacon. The carmelized exterior of the bacon was so good. Brussel sprouts also were served with bacon and sliced almonds. The bacon again, was lovely and the sprouts were cooked well. They just could have used a touch more of salt and that would have made them perfect! The Chix sandwich is their take on the Nashville Hot Chicken, and boy was it hot!!! A little too hot for my liking, but there were definitely good things going on. It was crispy, tender and the greens that were spread on top were tasty! I could have eaten a bowl of them easily. My wife ordered a pasta dish (forgive me for forgetting the name) that they made specially without dairy. Yes, they can make that happen! I talked to the kitchen staff and it was a challenge, but they rocked it. She really liked it. When she gave me a taste, the spices were noticeable and well represented. Good stuff! They have flatbreads as well! I went with the steak; something different for me. It came with a pesto, garlic, balsamic and had a freshness to it. I was happy to see the wonderful color of the slices of steak. Beautiful! When I walked in, I was surprised to see a couple of familiar faces. I ONLY leave reviews for 5+ star experiences (the best of the best) and 1- star experiences (the worst of the worst) and today was unfortunately the worst of the worst. We had a belated Mother's Day brunch at Jojo's Diner West and as I told my sister-in-law "I would have rather lit $90.00 on fire.". The service was awful. I sat without water (2 separate times) for 15+ minutes each time. I ordered a cinnamon roll first and stated "I'd like to order a cinnamon roll for the table to start" and it was the LAST food to come out. No food came out until 30+ minutes after we ordered and it all came out sporadically which is not acceptable at a restaurant. Three of us ordered avocado toasts with added eggs. The avocado was brown and it had a yellow mustard sauce on it that was not indicated on the menu, and all three of us hate mustard. The eggs were all delivered after the toasts and on the side. We sent the avocado toast back and asked them to be remade with no sauce. Over 10 minutes later, new ones arrived and those avocados were even browner, and they did not come with new eggs so our cold eggs (which side note, they were cold upon arrival as well) were what we were left with. Needless to say, my nephews ate bacon and French fries and the rest of us ate nothing. I highly recommend avoiding this establishment as both food and service were literally less than 1 star. My family and I were very excited for Jojo's as we live very close and have heard great things. My disappointment is unmatched even compared to the day I watched Star Wars Rise of Skywalker. From the time of placing our food order to receiving our food 1 hour and 10 minutes had passed. During this time, I had to go to the bar to request refills as our waitress would not return to our table. For context we expected a delay in service due to the holiday; however, with empty tables around the restaurant our basic expectations of a restaurant were also left unfilled. The culmination of a terrible experience was quite possibly one of the worst burgers I've ever tasted. If you're a fan of food that looks like a diaper blow out and burnt hamburger patties then it's the burger for you! My sons and I went to JoJo's Diner for lunch. They have a very impressive menu. Our server, Tallie, was very helpful with suggestions. I chose the Chicken Chillikillers and it was the best! One of my sons got the Breakfast Ramen with pork belly and he loved it! My other son got the chicken fried steak breakfast and it is the best. The hash browns are cooked perfectly.
