Very fun mixology class at JoJo's. I'd so do that again. My friends and I each made our own espresso martini and sangria. Kyle was a great bartender and great teacher. We went over all of the tools and list of alcohol and then got to the pouring and shaking. Delicious :) We did a pumpkin painting activity here in Oct as well. We painted pumpkins and had good drinks and good fries with tons of photo opps JoJo's isn't just for shakes

We were able to sit upstairs on the patio or also their tree house and enjoy the nice weather. We had got the Chocolate Nirvana and Gold Digger. Each came with a huge cookie, marshmallow on a stick, and a cake pop. The Gold Digger also had a chocolate covered pretzel. Was really delicious. Definitely can be shared with 2 ppl. It was delicious and Very sugary.

A few friends and I decided to check out JoJo's Shake Bar in Naperville after hearing great things about it. Getting there on a weekend was a bit challenging, as downtown Naperville tends to be very crowded with limited parking. However, our visit was well worth the hassle. Upon entering, the fun atmosphere instantly caught our attention, complete with playful decor, a mini arcade on the side and a large Pac-Man mural on the wall leading upstairs. We opted to sit at the bar and ordered some shakes. We tried the Nirvana milkshake, which is a Chocolate Oreo Shake topped with a double chocolate donut hole, double chocolate marshmallow, and a chocolate chip cookie. You really have to see it to appreciate its size, especially for $14! The cookie and donut hole were fantastic, I thought it was perfect but my buddy who is a chocolate fanatic felt the milkshake could have had a bit more chocolate flavor to truly embody the name "Chocolate Nirvana." Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I'm excited to return to explore more of their menu. I definitely recommend JoJo's Shake Bar in Naperville!

Fun for the kiddos AND the parents! Definitely a fun atmosphere, we made a reservation for Saturday to ensure being seated quickly and were seated immediately upon walking in with our choice of seating. We opted for the treehouse which was a fun and whimsical place to enjoy lunch. The service was great and they have a pretty solid cocktail menu with fun items, we did the Mallort shot with the Polaroid photo for extra fun and had a cocktail that was made well. The vegan burger was amazing and was almost like a big Mac and the onion ring tower was a hit for the table. The food came out pretty quickly and of course the highly of dessert being the milkshake was fantastic.

If you're coming here, you're probably coming to enjoy one of the social media worthy Biggie Shakes and in this way, Jojo's Shake Bar really delivers. The shake itself is enormous with tons of toppings that could really be a small meal in itself, and surprisingly not overwhelmingly sweet. For something that is put together with good quality ingredients and decorated nicely, I don't think that $14 is too unreasonable, particularly for the amount of amazing photo opportunities and memories that it provides. The restaurant itself also has a very cool look to it, with a very retro video game vibe and an awesome looking bar. Service is friendly and the staff is helpful with requests. Overall, a fun place to take visitors for a truly unique shake experience which is a bit pricey, but worth it for the conversation it'll spark and memories that it'll create.

Wanted something new for lunch so ordered here to try it out. Burger was good but could have used a little more seasoning. Fries were a bit cold from transport but would probably be excellent on site, and I am a big fan of pretzels and this one was perfect! Food was very well packaged , and nice size portions!

Lowkey shocked this was our first time at Jojos seeing as how this is a chain but we had a good time! It gives almost bar vibes but at the same time kid friendly vibes. We came just to get some milkshakes and there were so many options! A lot of the drinks seemed like sugar overload so I just went with a basic milkshake with some add ons. My husband got an orange fanta float. Service was pretty quick and our server was friendly! Overall enjoyable and seems like a sweet spot to visit during the summer

We went to the Naperville location mainly for their ornament decorating event with dinner option. At 6pm on Friday, the downstairs area was not extremely busy, seems most people were upstairs at the tree house. It has some Christmas decorations all around which really lead to a nice experience for the 10 year old we had. We were greeted by our server and put out orders in. The food came out hot and the milkshakes were delicious. The lasagna at the perfect amount of sauce to go with the size.

We were driving around the area and I saw JoJo's and wanted to try a shake. It's so cute from the outside. After looking for a parking spot for a while, we finally found a parking spot around the corner on another street. Parking is the not the best because it's mostly street parking and there are so many different shops and restaurants around. Once you enter, there is a bar to your left, booths to the right. There is an upstairs as well, although we were sat downstairs. I only wanted to try a shake as I had already eaten. I wanted something sweet so the server recommended the Trix Are 4 Kids. It was very cute but tasted like liquid yogurt. I didn't like it so the server was so sweet and allowed me to order another drink. This time I decided on the Wonderful Day shake which is a blueberry shake with a candy marshmallow, gummy candy ribbon, and cotton candy. The shake was pretty good but honestly it was just too much going on and the flavors didn't mesh well. I did enjoy the cotton candy though, lol Overall

First time at JoJo's Shake Bar and it did not disappoint! This location is in downtown Naperville and I had absolutely no idea that they had a rooftop patio seating in addition to the seating downstairs! It was a beautiful sunny day and the patio was flooded with sunshine. There's a full bar and full service for food upstairs and downstairs. The staff is so incredibly sweet and helpful! We got a pride milkshake along with a side of onion rings. The milkshake was absolutely AMAZING, you guys! I'm not a fan of vanilla and when it comes to milkshakes, I'll always reach for something with chocolate. But having the vanilla ice cream truly made all the other components stand out and taste incredible. The cake on top was so moist and delicious. The candy surrounding the shake was just perfect with the ice cream. I will say that the shake was quite thick, almost along the consistency of ice cream, so it was nearly impossible to drink from a straw. So be sure to grab some spoons!! The onion rings were so yummy! They came in a tower served with the best sauce to dip into. They were so hot, and crispy, and perfectly seasoned. Honestly the combination of a milkshake with onion rings is something I've never tried so I might be onto something here because I LOVED IT! Nonetheless, if you're craving something sweet, or salty, or BOTH, check out JoJo's! They're worth it!

Just came here to say....STILLL LOVE THIS PLACE!! Got to try the pride shake which is INCREDIBLE. A national treasure. Not only is a whole, cream, shake with whipped cream on the outside but a SLICE OF RAINBOW cake on top. We were able to bring this home and share with the whole family haha. LOVE IT SO MUCH. We also got a chance to sit on the rooftop this time which was amazing. It's set to look like a treehoues and has lights, pictures, tire swings, the whole caboodle. I didn't know they had such an extensive rooftop and for that reason alone, I have already made plans with friends to be back. All in all, a really fun space, with shakes as big as your face, drinks, and food. What more could you want?

Yummy sandwich, vegan options for my friend. The peanut butter shake I got wasn't as yummy as I would have hoped. But lots of yummy options. Super cute decorations and environment. Good service.

The bartender (I didn't catch his name, but had brown hair and facial hair was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I was waiting patiently to be served - not saying a word - and finally he came by me and raised his voice to me in a disrespectful tone saying that he is not serving me because he came by me twice and I wasn't paying attention. So, I waved to the other bartender who was female and she politely served me. I also found out that same male bartender kicked out two other friends of my friend I was with for no reason. Plus, when I reconciled my receipts the next day, I discovered that in my "not paying attention," they handed me two other receipts to sign which totaled about $80.00. (At the time, I thought maybe they were just helping each other out with ringing my order up) There's NO way I ordered that much, because it was SO crowded, I couldn't get served more than once, so that's why we left. So, basically I was robbed $80.00, because I wasn't "paying attention." Both receipts say "Potter's Place," even though we were upstairs at Two-Nine, and that's what it says on my credit card statement. Potter's Place was closed downstairs. I have one receipt that makes sense to what I normally order that says "Two-Nine". So on my credit card statement, I have one charge that says "Two-Nine," then two that say "Potter's Place." They scammed me. NEVER again.

Altavida's concepts for the three levels are Publico, Rumba, and Altura. Publico (1st Flr)- A South American fusion of food and drinks that will be rotating. The cocktails will be more tequila and mezcal based and food will be subtly rotated based on trends happening in South America. The food menu currently offers tapas, empanadas, ceviche, guacamoles, larger format meat/seafood entrees, and more. They will have a front of our bar as well as a back bar that will specialize in more coffees/coffee cocktails. Rumba (2nd Flr)- The entertainment floor! There is a separate bar on this floor that will specialize in more Rum based cocktails. Additionally, they will have a wine bar area with wines in tap. Lastly, they will have an open area for live music as well as dancing. Their hope is to have a mix of jazz, club music, salsa dancing options available. Altura (3rd Flr)- This floor is still under construction but will have a rooftop patio. The hope is that this space will be an event space both for public and private events. Back to my experience! My partner and I stopped in for a cocktail and to see what Altavida was about. Our first bartender was very nice but was still getting used to the drink recipes and was leaning on their cheat sheets. While we waited, another bartender kindly told us all about the restaurant and its focus on hospitality. Unfortunately, each bartender had a slightly different explanation of the restaurant's goal concepts which was confusing. We ended up ordering the El Toro and Vaquero (both mezcal drinks). Both were VERY spirit forward to the point that it may have needed better balance. Both drinks had a nice presentation with garnishes, color, and a skull feature at the bottom of the glass. Lastly, we saw many people walk up and look confused as there was no formal host stand. They didn't know if they should seat themselves or wait for someone. Overall, there still seems to be some kinks needing to be worked out as well as some conceptual editing. I feel they are trying to achieve too much and it ends up being confusing for staff and guests. I hope with time, Altavida is extremely successful in the Naperville area and I hope to circle back after some time passes.

I also enjoyed seeing how everything was organized by category, so that you may find something more your speed rather than a recent brewery experience where I am looking for something that isn't an IPA. For food, I ordered the Brussels Sprouts. While not mind-blowing, these were above average. The sprouts were pretty well roasted (not quite perfect, but not bad), and I liked the sweet, savory, and acidic notes of the bacon, maple, cranberries, and balsamic. Everything was well-balanced and I happily cleared my plate. Next, especially for a place that is largely self-service, I want to recognize my server for being kind and attentive throughout the experience. In terms of value, I feel as though their prices are around average, given the area and the product, for I am sure the tech is not cheap! The vibe is something I can only describe as brewery-esque, with brick, metal, and wood. I am less concerned about the walls, though, what I do want to highlight is how clean everything was! With the amount of hands touching everything, this is no easy feat. Final verdict: Sometimes, especially on a warmer day, it's not about fancy whiskey or food, but about simple food and drink done well. Tapville Social is that place. There are more than enough beers that you're sure to find something you like, and solid food that you have something to wash down, and aren't drinking on an empty stomach.
