Been here a couple of times to pick up food as I'm driving between bakersfield and visalia. It's in a large shopping center across from Walgreens. Plenty of parking for pick up and dine in. And a nicely set up drive thru area as well. Several large tables to sit at inside and clean restrooms. Their menu is pretty extensive. From chicken wings and legs, to sandwiches, to spaghetti, to palobok, to mango pies to lemonade drinks and all sorts of combinations. The food comes out quickly. Prices are not bad. And the flavors are on point. Their chicken is crunchy, but tender and moist inside. Amd lathering it in gravy makes it taste so much better. Their mango pies are always a nice sweet treat. Goes great with coffee. Their spaghetti is always a nice difference from traditional spaghetti. And their palobok reminds me of the Phillippines. Definitely a solid place to get some great filipino food. It's nice that they have the option of family size as well as a personal size option too. read more

I don't go here all the time but when I do it definitely hits the spot. This Filipino fusion fast food place gives you a little warm fuzzy feeling inside. If you craving crunchy tasty juicy and dipping them into a delicious gravy well you're in for a treat! LOL These pictures were taken on separate occasions. For those of you who do not know, Jollibee is a fast food chain from the Philippines. When I am in the Philippines, I take all the Jollibee locations for granted because they are everywhere. Since I live in Kern County, I do not take them for granted here. I was ecstatic when I found out that Jollibee had finally opened a location in Kern County. Delano is about a 40 mile from my house, but it is worth the trip. Last month, my wife and I got the chance to go to this Delano Jollibee branch. It was about 10am on a Sunday morning. Happily, there was no long lines like there had been when they first opened. No indoor dining was allowed at the time cause of covid health protocols. We were craving a Filipino breakfast, but to our dismay there is no breakfast served here. I guess only the branches in the Phiippines make Tapsilog, Tocilog, Longsilog, etc. for breakfast. So that was a disappointment. We ended up ordering a Chicken Joy and Palabok meal to share plus some Peach Mango Pie!! The Chicken Joy was good as what is served in the Philippines. It is Fried chicken cooked Filipino style! The Palabok was yummy too! The Peach Mango Pie did not disappoint! It is always a perfect ending to a meal at Jollibee!! Was disappointed that they were out of the limited edition Ube Pie though,. Thank you Jollibee for finally coming to my home county!! I see that a branch will be opening in Bakersfield too! We did not expect to find it in Delano, CA. We are just passing by the 99fwy and tried to find fast food on our phone then it showed that we are 5 mins away. We are so happy at the perfect timing. Yea chicken has the same consistency, crispy outside, tender and moist inside. Service is exceptional. Staff are great. My wife saw the pineapple juice and try to exchange our soda, they did not even charge us and just gave us a new cup with pineapple juice at no extra charge. Well recommended. read more

Fast and friendly service. First time here and didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. I bought the 12 piece bucket with 1/2 spicy and 1/2 regular chicken. The chicken was freshly cooked, hot, and the spicy one was definitely spicy! Not too much for me though. I can handle the heat. Every piece of chicken was extra large. That was a nice touch. Other unnamed chicken places have recently started serving tiny pieces that look more like cornish game hens than chicken. But not here! Each piece was large, juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The price can't be beat either. Definitely try this place out. read more

Let me start off by saying, I'm excited for the city of Delano. It's great to see the growth in this community. Growing up here, we have a large Filipino present in the city Delano. Them opening a Jollibee was a very smart decision. Not only do we have a large Filipino present in Delano but also in the little towns near us; Bakersfield, Porterville etc. One of the great thing is, this location is near the 99 freeway so it's great for travelers to stop by Delano to grab a quick bite (since we are in the middles of LA and San Francisco) while traveling up and down California. If you've eaten Jollibee before then it's tastes the same lol for the people that haven't had Jollibee, it's like a Filipino KFC with rice and gravy. My favorite thing to order is the breakfast and the chicken. I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

4th visit 3:15 PM on a Friday, 6 cars in the drive through, got my food in about 10 minutes. Palabok is a rice noodle with toppings and sauce. Not a repeat for me- but the ChickenJoy- Oh Yeah! Ube pie - ube is a purple yam so, unsurprisingly, it tasted like a sweet potato pie. , but starchy, not sweet. Actually closer to Hawaiian Poi than sweet potato pie. Was driving back home and had always heard the hype about Jollibee and said what the heck today is the day and with such a convenient location right off the freeway it was the perfect opportunity. It is kind of shoved in a corner in a pretty empty shopping center. However, everyone was so polite and friendly it made you wonder why it was so lonely. Food came out fast and was HOT. We tried a little bit of everything since this was our first experience. Spicy chicken: 4.5/5 Holy hell do they mean it when they say spicy it was super fresh and crispy. The concept of dipping it in gravy was new for us but enjoyed it none the less. Spaghetti: 3/5 take this rating with a grain of salt it is definitely one of those things where you're or fan or you're not. It's sweet and had hot dogs in it. Jollibee has a menu unlike any other fast food chain in the United States. I have tried Jollibee in the Philippines in Manila, and Cebu, and many of the food items on the menu are similar. The service was fast and efficient, and the staff were polite. The restaurant is well designed, and clean. If you're looking for something different then give Jollibee a try. read more

Chicken Sandwiches were not available & Spicy chicken wasn't available yet I was told by the lady taking orders. Kids love the spaghetti! Fiesta Palabok has always been my fave (would drive 2-3 hours to LA just to go to Jollibee) and of course the chicken is always crispy and delicious. Went around 3pm and wasn't busy at this location, waited 30 min in the drive thru. Love the Peach Mango pie as well, so good! First time at a Jollibee. Was genuinely intrigued to see chicken paired with a side of spaghetti on the menu, as if this was the normal balance of things in the world. Anyways, I opted for the chicken deluxe sandwich (no spice), which was pretty legit. It's no Popeye's, but still up there as far as chicken sandwiches go. Fries were similar to McDonalds, but better because every single one was crispy. Did not get the world famous "Chickenjoy" fried chicken, but hey, I'd come back again, so maybe next time. This new-ish restaurant in Delano is somewhat akin to the Filipino version of either Popeyes or KFC. Mainly buckets of fried chicken and you can choose between mild and spicy. I've had them both ways before and o have to say I prefer the spicy. Today, however I went with the Steakburger plate which featured two hamburger style Pattie's drenched in a delicious gravy and covered with mushrooms. Also a side of steamed rice was included to soak up all that gravy. There are other items to choose from including palabok or spaghetti. Well, the prices have gone up and they got rid of the Ube Pies! But the Chickenjoy is still great though! I listed the menu items I've tried so far and whether or not I recommend them: (Yes) 6-piece Chickenjoy bucket ($10.99 and comes with a side of gravy): Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, minimal breading, not overly seasoned just perfectly fried chicken! The gravy is amazing! Perfectly seasoned and just the right thickness. Best gravy I've ever had! (No) 6-piece Spicy Chickenjoy bucket ($10.99 and comes with a side of gravy): I like spicy food, but, I don't care for whatever spice they are using on their chickenjoy. It tastes like extract to me (unpleasant heat with a bitter flavor) and I would suggest using Crystal or your favorite hot sauce along with the regular chickenjoy instead if you want spicy chicken. (Yes) Cheesy Yumburger ($3.99): A delicious and simple cheese burger with a YUMmy sauce. It has a soft and delicious bun. The patty is a bit thicker than some other fast food places. The meat tastes more 'hamburgery' to me (if that makes sense lol). I would get it again. (Yes) Jolly Spaghetti ($4.99): Overall it tastes good with a deliciously sweet sauce. Sometimes they don't give you enough sauce to coat all the noodles (you are meant to mix it in yourself) and the hot dog pieces can be a bit rubbery and dry. I would suggest asking for extra sauce ($1.99) just in case. (Yes) Peach Mango Pies ($2.49 ea.): Warm, crispy, and sweet perfection! I usually don't get dessert from fast food restaurants (since the food itself has enough sugar) but these are just too good to pass up! (No) Banana Langka Pies ($2.49 ea.): These are made with plantains (not dessert bananas) and jackfruit. I do like plantains in other dishes, but, they didn't work for me in this pie. Too mild in flavorful and not sweet enough for me. Unfortunately, these Banana Langka Pies are what has replaced the Ube Pies which were made from sweetened purple yam and were oh so good. Please bring them back!! (No) Palabok Fiesta ($5.99): Based on the description, I fully expected to love this, but, they went so mild on the flavor it tasted like I was munching on plain noodles!  (Yes) Mashed Potatoes ($2.49 reg.): Creamy and paired with their gravy. So, of course it's delicious!  (No) Adobo Rice Side ($2.49 ea.): This was just okay, but, I wouldn't get it again. Very mildly flavored and not too different from the plain steamed rice.  (No) Spicy Chickenwich ($3.99 ea.): Same problem with their choice of spice used on the chicken. I did like the sriracha mayo they used on the brioche bun and the fresh jalapenos were a nice touch. But, as is, I would not get this again. Maybe they would let you swap the spicy chicken piece with an original one since they are the same price. Can't hurt to ask! I'll update this review as I try other items. read more

I had always heard of Jollibee, so we stopped by on our way home. I was surprised at their location (small town). We picked up a spaghetti, chicken sandwich, and some pies. Staff was friendly. Inside was clean. The only reason why I'm not giving five star was because they didn't have the soda I wanted (Dr. Pepper) I then asked for a Pepsi or Coke and was told they didn't have that either. I normally LOVE Jollibee, and I've had nothing but good experiences except for today. I was so excited to try their chicken sandwich today and it smelled heavenly....so imagine my surprise at the first bite when I saw it was undercooked. I spat out my first bite to see that that piece was ALSO undercooked. In chicken...that's not something I mess around with. I'm highly wary as of now and I caution anyone who orders this. Food is mediocre and not worth it in my opinion. I noticed they deep fry the ube pies with the same oil as the chicken. I believe that is cross contamination. I know this because the pie had the same chicken taste which made the ube pie taste discusting. The Adobo fried rice was not that great. Didnt taste like adobo, just taste like rice with seasoning. I no longer need to drive 2plus hours just to eat at Jollibee. Now it's only 39mins drive from where i live. Chicken Joy is the best. I go to Popeye's before, but Jollibee is closer to me now. I decided to go to Jollibee at Delano to try something new compare to the one at Bakersfield. I have one thing to say I was really really really disappointed on my chicken... why was my chicken brown and soggy!? The one at Bakersfield isn't brown or anything like this! Their chicken is always golden and crispy. I wasted my time and customer service was really awful. Also the Bakersfield cooks for the chicken is way better! One last thing the customer service was giving me a weird look when ordering and I felt uncomfortable ordering here it just felt off. read more

The chicken is absolutely crunchy. The gravy is divine. And let's not forget about the purple bbq sauce delicious. We went for the funky spaghetti with wiener which was good but was side swiped with all the other items. The mango peach pies were delectable. Overall I gave this place a 3 star because it's an hour and a half away.
