Ube pancakes, crispy pork belly, scrambled egg with eggs benedict
    Tony P.

This place is a must try. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The vibe is low key, lots of people just getting up and getting there to eat. Ample seating. You order, find a table and get a number. They will bring it to you. The pancakes were so good and warm with ube butter and syrup. The Benedict was delicious too. And the pork belly was so good. Couldn't finish it but took it home and ate the rest the next day. Epic. Enjoy!

    Ube Smoothie

The food here is a must try! Very comforting and savory. I've tried multiple items from here and never had something I did not like. The ube smoothie is something I have to get EVERY SINGLE TIME so make sure to try it out! I literally have gone into the store for just the smoothie before. It's that good! The pork belly bowl is amazing from the crispy pork belly, the garlic rice, mac salad to balance it out and the pickled veggies for a tangy bite. It's perfect! The wait can be a little long at times which is my only con, but worth the wait! I love to bring my friends here for a nice lunch and it's always a hit!

Long overdue review since I visited in 2024. I liked the food enough to want to go back to try more dishes (but haven't yet). I ordered the special of the day - pandan chicken and ube waffle, and my friend tried the kare kare. It's a quick lunch spot. There wasn't much service after ordering and receiving the food.

Food was amazing! Definitely hit the "home ‍ cooked food vibes". Parking is good. You do not have to pay for parking. Came twice with family! Both times were fantastic. You order at the counter and find a seat/table. You're given a number so the server can find you. It can get a little smoky from the grill & you leave with the scent of filipino seasoning Don't wear your nice clothes. Hoodie and jeans or sweats kinda spot. The spread... pork belly bowl with a fried egg, beef steak tapa, fried eggs, garlic rice plate, Arroz caldo, Ube pancakes and french toast, Meatloaf crunch moco, Pancit & pork skewer combo, calamansi iced tea & calamansi juice Come hungry because the portions are large!

One of my favorite Filipino food spots. I always get the Adobo Fried Rice with Egg. You get to choose your style of egg but I go with scrambled. The nice rich flavor of the Adobe is delicious. I also get the Toasted Coconut Waffles. One i love is their nice and crunchy with a great coconut flavor. I do would like to try the Buko Pandan for dessert sometime but they were sold out when I went. Its one of my favorite Filipino desserts.

What a find! Ube pancakes???? Yes, please. Good coffee, good service and friendly staff. I had chicken and waffles for the first time. It was great. I'm coming back next time I pass through there.

Such good food, good vibes, and a fun time whenever I come here, I usually would order their lumpia, adobo fried rice & eggs, taho, etc. me and my family go here from time to time since it's somewhat nearby and almost had tried half the things in the menu and honestly a great comfort food especially if you love Filipino food. They were super quick with getting your order and getting your food out, they'll personally hand you your items which is nice and then you get to put them away afterwards. The inside of the store looks very spacious and clean every time we come, I would say they get super busy especially during the weekend but if you swing by on a random weekday around lunch time it's super quiet so you get to enjoy the place to yourself almost!

I've been here several times since they've opened. This is a great spot to hit if you're heading to Carpinito bros for fall! Today we got the crispy pork belly bowl, arrozcaldo, small side of ube pancakes and beef tapa. I didn't try the pork bowl, however it was very crispy looking. The arrozcaldo was good. The tapas were okay, I think they use similar bases for their meat marinades (a touch sweet orange). The pancakes come with ube butter and ube syrup. Overall everything is okay, I think the price points are affordable. Nothing stood out to me personally. The service is direct and limited interactions with staff (go up, order, sit and wait). You bus your own area afterwards. Ambiance is relatively quiet but it depends when you're there.

always a pleasure going here, the workers are really sweet and the inside feels cozy. i've tried the crispy pork belly bowl and the pandan fried chicken plate - sometimes the meat can be a little dry but the sauce provided definitely helps. other than that both are super yummy!!

Absolutely loved this place! The pancit was amazing along with the lumpia! My husband thoroughly enjoyed his French toast. The service was great and the restaurant was nice and quiet. Would definitely come again and order the same thing!

Ambiance 3/5 The inside was pretty big with a good amount of seating. There's windows all along one side of the restaurant so there's a good amount of natural lighting and you can look out into the street. There's a mural above the counter but the interior and seating was kinda basic. There's also a counter for ice cream by the side. Service 4.5/5 The lady at the counter was very sweet and explained about a lot of the different menu items. After i told her I was visiting from Virginia she also talked about people she knew there. She was very friendly and made me feel very welcomed. The other staff were also very nice as well. Adobo Braised Pork Belly ($13.52) 4/5 The dish came with rice, macaroni salad, salad, and the pork belly. The rice, salad, and macaroni salad were all good and tasted like what you'd expect. The pork belly was soft and tender and had a slightly sour and garlic taste to it. The portion size was decent and it was a pretty filling dish. I was definitely satisfied by the food.

My 2nd time visiting. Early morning and we were the first to arrive. Excited. Ordered to go. Very disappointing. Ordered. Ube pancakes-it was dry. Crispy pork belly bowl-not bad. Corned beef hash sandwich-one piece of beef on a huge bun, sad Chicken & waffles-BURNT! Omg! Chicken was okay, not enough seasoning, crispy crunch but no flavor. House pancit palabok-one of the only good item to eat. I liked the small lechon on the side Pork lumpia-another good item to eat. Skinny lumpia. I might go back to give it another try. Just sad that our food was burnt, dry, flavorless, sad portion for the price paid for each meal. I did t take a picture of the food. It was depressing. But I want to support my peeps that are local to us.

He only came here because he thought that if the tamal cost $6 then they had to be good. They were not. When I asked him where he got them and he said here, I looked it up on Yelp, who was saying they were permanently shut down. Little to no flavor. Traditional Guatemalan tamales have a slice of red bell pepper, and an olive in it, giving it more flavor but this one just had the meat and let me add that the amount of bones that were in the tamale was just absolutely unacceptable. Everyone knows that you don't put bones in tamales. The amount of times I bit into a bone or had to spit them out, made the eating process so unpleasant. I had told my husband to not come here anymore since it's so overpriced but I guess he forgot. It was just another reminder why I don't come here anymore

I'm so glad I went with 2 not 3 because these things are HUGE! As big as my head/profile. I really enjoyed eating them. So crunchy and just something new for me. They did taste like lumpia for me - not Shanghai but the actual eggroll kind. The ends of the empanadas were the best part in My opinion. OMG' I can eat that part all day lol.
